    Beef noodle soup

We came on opening day and even though it was packed and busy and we waited over an hour to dine we had excellent service and amazing food. Our server Nhi was super friendly, gave great recommendations, and food was absolutely delicious and did not take long to come out at all. I'm still floored at how much I enjoyed that beef noodle soup. So much flavor. Noodles hand pulled, beef nice and juicy. The soup dumplings were divine. We also did have the spicy scheuzan chicken and that was really good too. Not super crispy, but again so flavorful and a nice light crisp which I didn't mind. Scallion pancakes were great as well. I definitely imagine I'll be a repeat customer. Just loved the food so much!

Great new addition to Webster! We came during the grand opening week and their entire menu was 20% off so we figured it was a must try. The restaurant is beautifully decorated. Waiter was very friendly and explained the menu thoroughly. Soup dumplings came out steaming hot and flavorful. Spicy wontons were a bit chewy and tough. Bbq baos were good as the buns were came out fluffy and moist. Angus beef noodles and the cucumbers were our favorites by far! Mango bingsu---- I think I would come here just to order this again and again! It was perfect! Will be back to try other menu items!

My husband and I visited Meet Dumpling and Noodle for lunch. We're big dumpling lovers, so of course we had to try the soup dumplings. We also ordered the Stewed Angus Beef Noodle soup. The beef noodle soup came out first. The broth was savory, with chunky pieces of tender beef, bok choy, and handmade noodles. Their chili oil is excellent and makes everything even tastier. The soup dumplings were delicious and filled with meat, but they had little to no soup inside. The place is big and has a cool vibe. Our waiter was very nice and polite. Overall, a good experience.

New restaurant near the Baybrook Mall. Nice interior decor. Waitress is friendly, but it's hard to hear her speak sometimes. Also doesn't seem familiar with the menu (relies on the pictures); had to come back and reconfirm ordered items. Got shrimp dumplings (har gow 8pc), pork soup dumpling (8pc), and steamed bunny milk buns (4pc filled w/ egg custard). - small portions for the cost of the shrimp dumpling/har gow (didn't taste bad but better off going to an actual dim sum place) - didn't want to judge based on appearance but the pork soup dumpling was average - milk buns were ok Meet Dumpling & Noodle is only worth trying once.

I came here on their first day of opening! The interior design was beautiful and modern. It has a bar with two TVs, plenty of natural outdoor lighting and warm interior lighting. The host and waiter was kind and accommodating to my request for a quieter spot at the restaurant. I started off with the Pork Ear and Tofu appetizer. This did not disappoint at all. This is a Szechuan style and the spicy level was just right. They do not skimp on the pork ear and tofu ratio. It is mixed with garlic, green onion, chili oil, and cilantro. I couldn't help but try the shu mai here as well. This was also a big win for me. 6 pieces and they are nicely stuffed with pork, shrimp, and mushroom giving that umami flavor. This is the authentic dim sum style shu mai, not the frozen ones you find at the grocery stores or at Sushi Moshi/Ohayo! My main dish was the beef tendon noodle soup with wide noodles. Unfortunately, this did not live up to par for me. The tendons were tender and they do not skimp on the meat, but the flavor of the soup was lacking, and the wide noodles do not seem wide to me at all. I confirmed with the waiter this is the wide noodle as well. However, the noodles had the chewy texture and I could tell this was handmade as they stated! For dessert I requested tofu pudding, but they did not have it. I was excited to try but I will come back another day!

I just found out about this restaurant, so I came by Meet Dumpling and Noodle today for lunch. From the outside, it looked like it would be a cozy little cafe, but the inside is ridiculously fancy. The staff are very nice. Like their name says, their menu have a great selection of noodle bowls and dumplings. If you're not in the mood for either, they also have rice dishes, Chef specials, bao buns and red bean buns too. Meet Dumpling and Noodle have a vast selection of appetizers too. They offer very few sweets and there's no Kids' menu. There are no diet options either. For those who drink, (NOT me) yes, they have beer. For non alcoholics, they have loose tea, milk tea and yogurt tea. Prices vary, but they're not too bad. There's plenty of space inside, ideal for a large party. Our food was presented fast and steaming hot. I liked some of their appetizers, though I wouldn't recommend the beef skewers. My friend said the meat in her Angus Beef Noodle bowl was cooked and seasoned perfectly, but the broth lacked flavor. My Diced Pork and Eggplant Noodle Bowl had TOO much garlic! I had to scoop the "garlic pile" out of my bowl before I could eat. GROSS! The pork was also too salty. I'll come back to try different dishes, but Meet Dumpling and Noodle have very stiff competition in this area. There's other Asian restaurants literately across from them! I hope they can stay in business.

We stopped by Meet Dumpling with my kids to give it a try. My daughter and I enjoy Asian food, but my son usually does not, so we were curious to see how it would go. We were greeted right away and seated quickly, which I always appreciate when dining with kids. Our waitress was very friendly and attentive. She took our drink order right away and checked back in a few minutes later to take our food order. We ordered the lo mein and the bean dumplings. The dumplings had the cutest little piggie design, which my daughter loved. The food overall was really good, and the portion sizes were generous. For my son, I ordered the beef with rice and broccoli but asked for just the beef and rice since he prefers it plain. It initially came out with everything included, but the waitress was very kind about it and immediately took it back to fix it without any hesitation. That kind of service goes a long way. The lo mein was flavorful and filling, and the prices felt reasonable for the portion sizes. Overall, we had a good experience and would definitely come back to try more dumplings next time.

Visited this restaurant on their official grand opening and was very impressed! Everything we tried was delicious, the dumplings were all flavorful and cooked perfectly, they did not skimp on the filling either. I also had the mapo tofu for my entree, I have been searching for a good mapo tofu in this area and so far every location has fallen short usually missing that signature sichuan spice or the flavor profile isn't right. I'm excited to say I have finally found a good mapo tofu! It was seasoned perfectly with a good amount of pork to tofu ratio and it finishes off with that signature numbing spice it was perfect! Overall, everything we tried was delicious and the service was great as well during our visit. Highly recommend if you are in the area!!

Mongolian beef is too salt and rice is dry. We will be back when they have better chef

Soup dumplings were cooked perfectly! We got the regular pork soup dumplings and crab/pork soup dumpling!

Of course you do. My family and I used to live just a few hundred yards away in that subdivision. You'd see my number pop up and I know there was a moment of quiet respect in the kitchen. A pause. A nod. "Ah yes... the big order." You knew my name. The delivery drivers knew my dogs. The dogs knew the delivery drivers. There was harmony. I tipped well--especially considering the short drive. I like to think those tips helped cover gas, morale, and maybe a chapter or two of a kid's college textbook. You were part of our routine. Our tradition. Our emotional support takeout. Then... we moved. Far away. Outside the radius. I know. I know. It must've been hard. I assume there was a brief meeting. Maybe a whiteboard. Someone sighed. Dreams were recalculated. But I'm writing today with good news. We're back. Not as close as before--but close enough to smell the General Tso if the wind is right. Unfortunately, we are now approximately six tragic miles outside your official delivery radius. Which brings me to my proposal. Could we add a special rider to our phone orders? Nothing crazy. Just a small, unofficial, mutually beneficial understanding where: We always over-order We always over-tip No one speaks of this again And happiness returns to the universe I'm asking for a friend. Really. I do not need an intervention. I can stop anytime. But I miss the General Tso. And my lovely wife misses the wontons. And some cravings are bigger than geography. Warmest regards, Hopeful optimism, And exact change plus extra, That guy.

The general tsos had big juicy pieces of chicken and the sauce wasn't too spicy (even my 4 year old enjoyed it). The sweet and sour chicken came with sauce on the side so it remained crispy. I also really liked the vegetable lo mein although it was pretty salty. The only thing I was disappointed in were the egg rolls. Usually it's my favorite part of this place but I'm not sure if they changed the recipe? Something tasted off. Our total was $50 and we have tons of food left over. Overall a great place!

Always top tier!…read more The wait staff is where it always begins and here they are both patient, with discussing the menu hospitable and knowledgeable. I stopped here for a quick lunch after departing the nearby mall in BayBrook. The noise on a level of 1 to 5 may have been a 2 so very pleasant. Getting in around 12pm was a big plus too, before the crowds. The facility was clean and welcoming. The appetizer arrived first nice and hot, very freshly prepared. This was soon followed by the main course and I do appreciate them having Tofu on the menu as an alternative to different diets. However, I must note that the Mongolian Tofu was delicious....I will definitely be back for a follow up. So until the next one, Bye Bye!

The server also tried to scam us. the receipt came and she charged us the full price main course + up-charge for the chef's feast. Which the chef's feast meal starts at $19.99 + any upcharge for any premium meal you order. When I finally got her attention after 15 minutes I didn't even get to say anything and she said oh sorry i charged you wrong. so she knew what she was doing. we got our refund but if I didn't say anything she would have gotten away with it. TDLR: just go to the mall to get asian food if you're craving it. cheaper, bigger portions and for a good price.

I've been coming here with family for years and even remember when this location first opened (see…read moreoriginal review from 2009). 888 Bistro has had its fair share of ups and downs and ownership changes over the years, but this was our first time back in about 2 years, so I was curious to see if anything's changed since our previous experience was not so great. We came on a Thursday night and there were only a few other cars in the parking lot. Dumpling World across the street had a fuller lot, so we were about to reconsider our choice, but decided to follow through with our original choice. Upon walking in around 7pm, there were a few other tables dining in. In case you didn't know, there are two menus here: an Americanized menu and a Chinese menu. Be sure to ask for both so that you get all the choices to select from! We ordered, the Honey Black Pepper Steak, Triple Delight Pan Fried Asian Noodles, Pork and Bamboo Shoots, and Sizzling Black Pepper Beef. The former two are on the Americanized menu and the latter two are on the Chinese menu. The Honey Black Pepper Steak has been my favorite dish here - it's deep fried pieces of beef coated in a black pepper sauce with a touch of sweetness...so good! The Pan Fried Noodles were crispy, but meat/vegetable to noodle ratio was a little off, as they could've put a good amount more of beef/chicken/shrimp on there. The Pork and Bamboo Shots and Sizzling Beef were both very tasty and hadn't changed from how I remember them. Our server was someone we recognized as having worked here for years. Unfortunately I cannot remember her name, but she's an expert here and knows the menu by heart. She constantly came around to check on us, and we were warmly taken care of. One thing I noticed was how adamant the staff was about watching your step as you get into and out of the booths. There are even signs on the tables and out the exit doors warning you to watch your step. Something must have happened here recently that caused them to take extra precautions (and make it known). This is a good local spot in Clear Lake that my family and I will continue to hit up for an easy dinner since there are not many Asian options in the area. The locations in Pearland and near Gulfgate are also worth trying (just know that some menu items may differ).
