We can't get through a visit without ordering the Tandoori Chicken Tikka. It comes out on a sizzling, hot platter with vegetables that are just as tasty as the chicken itself. The rice is perfect, as is the butter sauce that comes with it. Perfect every time. The space is always clean and cozy. We're booth lovers, but even when we've had to sit at a table, it's been spacious and comfortable. From the moment you walk in the door, you feel welcomed and appreciated. Servers take the time to answer any questions you have without making you feel like a bother. Kindness abounds and seems to be a priority in this establishment and that's what keeps us coming back for more!

The two young guys at the front were so kind and welcoming--it just felt good to be there. I'm big on customer service, and they really nailed it. The food was sooo good. Somehow they made vegetables and tofu taste amazing (which is not always easy lol). I loved the mango lassi, and the tofu dish we got--it had this orange sauce--was seriously delicious. I also liked how it felt very family-oriented and comfortable, not stuffy at all. I'll definitely be going back with my family and trying more things next time. For now, I can just say I really enjoyed it and I'm glad we found it!

We enjoy trying new eateries and we chose the Royal Asian Bistro. What a treat!! The 5 star rating, in my opinion, was absolute! When we arrived, we were greated with a genuine, friendly smile and a "welcome". My hubby is a diabetic and I asked the young lady behind the counter if all their dishes were prepared with sugar (a BIG "no no" for a diabetic) or was it possible to order a dish made WITHOUT sugar. The receptionist went back to the kitchen to inquire an obtain an accurate answer (we really liked that .. no guesswork). We were told that many of the sauces for some dishes are already prepared containing sugar, but, some of those dishes contain a very small amount of sugar. Also, they had some dishes containing no sugar at all. This was pleasing to our ears and we decided to give it a try. The restaurant was was not large, and was neat and clean. It was fairly full already but we were seated immediately and given menus by a very friendly server who asked us what beverages we would like while deciding on our meal. We both are seafood lovers so we chose an appetizer of crab rangoons (6). I opted for an Asian Shrimp lunch special which came with a cup of very good, egg drop soup that had a suprisingly delicate, but very pleasant, enjoyable taste. Not the strong chicken noodly flavor that some places serve. I ate EVERY DROP. The JUMBO shrimp was in a lightly spiced garlic brown sauce with mixed veggies (green peppers, onions, mushrooms, broccoli, zucchini, carrots and a touch of celery). The sauce was "labeled .. hot garlic sauce" but my inquiry as to "how hot" was answered as "very little". Our server was right .. it had a delightful slight amount of heat that evolved only as you were swallowing. The dish consisted 10 or 11 JUMBO shrimp. I'm not kidding .. JUMBO! It was quite good ... and the portion was large (literally half of the plate). It came with tasty fried rice with a small amount of veggies in it that filled the other half of the plate! What an excellent lunch special and all of it .. cup of egg drop soup, jumbo shrimp with mixed veggies and fried rice .. all for only $10.99! I couldn't eat it all and took 1/2 of the shrimp dish home as well as the 6 crab rangoons ($6.99). We had ordered them to go. My hubby opted for a shrimp dish as well ... Thai Cashew Nut Shrimp .. lightly breaded jumbo shrimp, onion, green peppers, and carrots served in a very tasty brown sweet chili sauce .. Again JUMBO shrimp .. a large portion of about 10 shrimp at a cost of $15.99. Hubby changed the white rice to fried rice with only a $2.00 upcharge. Hubby ate the whole thing! He was a very happy camper. We each had a soda for our beverage. As a side note, when hubby tested his blood sugar in the evening .. it was at a normal level .. yeaaa! So, the small amount of sugar in his shrimp dish did NOT cause his blood sugar to spike .. GREAT NEWS for any diabetic .. no insulin shot was needed! Our lunch was really enjoyable .. in a quiet, friendly, clean, smallish sized restaurant, with attentive, happy servers, GREAT tasting food, and VERY REASONABLE prices. Our entire lunch .. a crab rangoon appetizer (6) that we ordered to go, my cup of egg drop soup (part of the lunch special) , 2 large portioned shrimp & veggie meals, and 2 sodas came to only $43.60. What a treat .. great food in a nice clean little restaurant, with very friendly people at great prices .. what more could a person want? If you enjoy Thai, Japanese & Chinese food at reasonable prices, I believe you'll enjoy the Royal Asian Bistro located in Orange City, FL in the shopping center right after The Olive Garden on Enterprise Blvd. We will definitely be going there again, and again! Happy day!!!

Got the chicken and the steak - hubs loved the chicken and I loved the steak. Veggies were yum. I did love the rice that came with the hibachi though, it was more of a Chinese fried rice over hibachi. All in all, we will be back!

Hispanic food options like "Arroz con gandules y pernil" are great, but are very expensive for takeout. A plate like this with a fountain drink will come up near $20 per plate, a price I would not pay for considering how cheap it would be. At Lelo's we got 4 FULL plates with 4 drinks that totaled near $50. The food quality was very good. As someone who has parents from the homeland who are picky about their pernil, they said it was great. Take that for what it's worth. Should you be off I-4 coming or leaving Orlando, I highly suggest you try this place. Worth your bang for your buck!

I went with yellow rice, red beans, and sweet plantains. My wife ordered the chicken combo with a side of yellow rice and yuca (her first time trying yuca!). The lady helping us (pretty sure it was the owner) was incredibly friendly and patient, guiding us through the menu like old friends. We paid, grabbed a table, and dug in. My wife took one bite of the rotisserie chicken and declared it the best she's had in ages--juicy, perfectly seasoned, and falling off the bone. No surprise there; we spotted those massive rotisserie ovens spinning away, so chicken is clearly their specialty! She then tried the yuca (boiled and crispy-edged, I assume) and loved it--said it was buttery and addictive. Her yellow rice had tasty chunks of different meats mixed in, and she couldn't stop raving about the flavor. I mixed my yellow rice (a different style from hers) with the red beans on the plate--pure comfort food heaven, rich, savory, and perfectly balanced. The sweet plantains? Outstanding. Caramelized just right, sweet but not overpowering, soft inside with that ideal crisp edge. Every bite was perfection. The place had a great vibe too--clean bathrooms, lively Spanish beats playing, and a casual, welcoming atmosphere that made us feel right at home. We're already planning our next visit to try more dishes (that mofongo and rotisserie chicken platter are calling our names!). If you're craving authentic Puerto Rican BBQ and sides done right, Lelo's is a must-stop. Highly recommend--5 stars all the way!
