So far the best take-out Chinese Food I've had since I've been in metro-Atlanta and I've tried quite a few. It reminds me of take-out Chinese spots in NY. Unlike many take out spots here, you get the option of ordering a quart or pint. I ordered for 4 and spent less than $70 bucks. All four of us are and we had left-overs. The egg rolls...great, real egg rolls and not the basic spring rolls that are flavorless like u find at many places here. Steamed dumplings....vey good. House fried rice.....must get, so good. Shrimp and broccoli....another win. Broccoli and garlic sauce....also great. Singapore noodles (mei fun)...also great. General Tsao's Chicken....perfectly cooked and flavored. Not too sweet, right amount of heat and the chicken was fresh. Fried chicken wings....solid and fried well. Again, al of this food for less than $70. I'll definitely be back when I'm in the area! It's beats the sky-high prices I pay in Vinings for average Chinese. read more

What a hidden gem in plain sight! Best chicken egg foo young this side of the Great Wall itself and the gravy had a lot of flavor unlike the other local joints. This hole-in-the-wall venue is clearly set up to accommodate a large take-out business. There are tables within, but it's clear most folks either take it home, or have it delivered. I stopped off to chill out before meeting a friend, and wanted to make a quick snack out of some crab rangoon. This was a nice place for that. Cool and quiet. My order came out rather quickly--fresh from the fryer. And it was a HUGE order. I though there would be maybe five or six pieces. But there were TEN on that plate. Hot and fresh. I could not finish them. The sweet-n-sour sauce that came with them was the same, colorful pre-packaged stuff you get at any Chinese place. They would do well to get rid of that and make their own. I was looking for a new Chinese restaurant and was intrigued by the positive reviews for this unassuming little place. Hmmm I know there's nothing authentic about it, but I love the sweet and spicy flavors of General Tso's Chicken. This was all sweet and no spice. This place is kind of a hole in the wall venue. The front end is very similar to the other pop up Chinese restaurants you can find anywhere. They may look the same as the others but they are far from them! This is a spot where my family and order from at least twice a month. We have been going here for going on 3 years now. The food is very good and the prices are even better. They have the selection that you'd expect from a Chinese joint. I have made it an effort to try all sorts of food from their restaurant and I can proudly say I've never been disappointed. If you want simple but delicious Chinese food, this is your spot! We have become regulars here and the front desk lady always takes care of my odd requests. When you call it in... She'll answer you with a simple... "Ready in 10 minutes" line. read more

Lol Too bad that I don't near here anymore because it's a quite deal of a drive to get here. I love yellow rice and that's how their fried rice is made with and they're also made with fresh ingredients than a canned goods which some nasty Chinese restaurants might. I am in love with their Mongolian beef and it's authentic taste. I love how they give the fried noodles under the dish where most of the nice Chinese restaurants that you have to spend some money at may use. This is my favorite hole-in-the-wall go-to for Chinese. I've dined in, but not a good idea. Take out is the way to go. Call it in by numbers from the menu on line at zamato. They speak English well for its a second language. So, do yourself a favor and it by the numbers. I've never had a bad meal from China Fun, and I know about bad meals from the fried whole "bait" I didn't eat in Marsailles. Do your homework and don't yell, "does anybody speak English" like my New York friend in Beijing in a real Chinese restaurant called Peking Duck. read more

Lemon pepper wings tasted like plain braised wings. Mongolian beef was colorless with less than a hint of flavor. House fried rice was chunky and didn't seem fully cooked. However, the carb ragoon was really tasty and flavorful. I however would not recommend this location if you are looking for tradition Chinese takeout. read more

This was great Chinese food! I really enjoyed the Mongolian chicken combination dinner that I ordered! I really liked all the onions in it and the was the onions tasted. They were cooked perfectly. It was very delicious. I asked for egg to be added to my friend rice and it was very good. This place has delicious egg drop soup as well. This is probably the best egg drop soup that I have ever had at a Chinese place, at least in this area, it is the best. I loved it! This place gives generous portions, so that is great for me. I really appreciate getting enough food when I go to a takeout place. I will definitely go back if I am in the area. read more

This is the ultimate hole in the wall, and I love hole in the wall restaurants. They do have dine in seating, but I can't imagine anything but take out here. I see this place everyday on my way to and from work and have never stopped there before. I read the reviews and have to say that I was absolutely blown away by the food and the price. I came for lunch and got a dish with fried rice and an egg roll and paid a little under $6. The food is delicious and you guys definitely have gained a new repeat customer. And the plus side is it is only about 10 minutes from my job so I can get lunch every so often here. read more

There is good and there is bad Chinese food. This is on the bad side. The Wonton Soup is nothing to write home about. The General Tso's Chicken had no flavor at all (I even asked for it to be spicy, which is HOT at other places). Our family love's the food here. The sesame chicken and Mongolian beef and egg rolls are all great! We use to live off Mars hill so this was a nice corner store. Now we live by KSU but it's still worth the trip. Very reasonably priced I can get enough food to feed our family of 5 and still have left overs for 15 dollars! We have been going to China Fun in Powder Springs for the past 3 years, since arriving in the Dallas, GA area. We have never been disappointed with the service, quality and freshness of the food. They will make it the way you like it, add or subtract vegetables, use white sauce instead of the salt laden dark sauce. They will even steam your veggies and meat choice if you want. They have an A rating in regard to cleanliness, which is a big plus. The prices are very reasonable for the quality. You will not be sorry, try it. read more

We stopped by randomly while driving back from lake Ackworth. It doesn't look like much but the food was great. They have some of the best steamed dumplings I've ever had. They look hand rolled and look a little like soup noodles. It's 36 minutes from my house, but I've still thought about going back. read more
