We got carry-out here after a lengthy search of reviews for quick, hot and tasty Chinese food. It served its purpose: our generous portions of broccoli beef and General Tso's chicken, served with white steamed rice, were steaming hot even when we got home 15 minutes later. The flavoring in both were quite good -- the broccoli beef salty and savory and the General Tso's mild and sweet (not spicy as I was expecting -- more like an orange or sesame chicken -- which was fine for me). Not much to say in terms of ambiance. Some fading photos of food from the menu, a couple of tables and a counter to order from. Seems like a family business - young son taking orders and the rest of the family cooking and packaging up the food. A solid choice for take out. read more

The best Mark of a good Chinese restaurant are good eggrolls. These eggrolls were horrible and they were served with the little packets of sauce. I had sesame chicken and they were hard little nuggets. I probably threw out 3/4 of the tray I didn't even bother saving it because I would chew it and then spitting out the chicken. I couldn't even swallow it. The only saving grace was the roasted pork chop Suey. He loved it and thought it was fabulous and I wouldn't recommend this restaurant. I will never go back. read more

If I could give 2 1/2 stars, I would. But 2 stars would be too critical. Wonton soup was good, not very good. Broth should be mkre flavorful. Wontons were good. Spareribs on bone were also just OK. They should have been cooked with a much better tangier sauce. Eggrolls were very good. Hot mustard in the small plastic container was watered down. Ahhhh, just your ordinary "hole in the wall" Chinese restaurant. It's in a strip mall and looks like it's a family affair. I can't speak to the service because we did take out ... or take away as they say in Europe. But the food was good. We had chicken fried rice, egg rolls, beef & broccoli, and sweet & sour chicken. A recent lunch here, convinced me that we waited too long to try this restaurant. The food is served in generous portions, but it's not the quantity, it's the quality that makes this restaurant stand out. Finding good Chinese food can be a challenge, but China Garden offers a varied menu and the food is delicious. I tried the Hunan chicken, hubs went for the broccoli beef, we were both pleased with the way our food was prepared. Plenty of fresh veggies with generous amounts of protein and seasoned just right, the egg rolls were also good. We were served promptly and the restaurant was clean with a friendly staff. We were in town for 2 nights and needed to get some food because food in our hotel was quite pricy and not a lot of choice! So we found this place conveniently in a publix plaza. If you want a dish that isn't super heavy, on the healthier side, and will still leave you feeling full - the Moo Goo Gai Pan is an absolute must have. Really enjoyed my food here and so did my wife. We got two different meals and they were both awesome!! I would certainly come back here again. We did eat at the restaurant so maybe that is why the food was better haha... I knowww sounds weird but sometimes when you order takeout or delivery by the time the food is at your house it isn't the same am I right. First, anyone who writes about this place having good food has to be related to the owner. the food was absolutely the most tasteless Chinese food I've ever tasted. Even the fortune cookies were tasteless and dried out. They must be buying old or outdated fortune cookies at a discount. The Egg role was fried in old oil and it had a terrible taste, like old oil. My experience here was bad, but, the lesson I learned was very valuable. Unfortunately, I had to throw out $34 worth of food because it wasn't worth the risk of getting food poisoning. They have great specials for lunch and also daily specials. The restaurant is clean. Food is always fresh and prepared on the spot, this place has been around for ages! Good the 1st time and came back for 2nds. In west Naples my wife and I have a Chinese restaurant / take out we enjoy and now we've found a east Naples Chinese Restaurant / take out in China Garden. The location makes it easy for me on my way home from work. I initially tried it because of the reviews on Yelp. 1st time was delicious. Well, as it turns out China Garden is consistent on visit 2. Mid week ordered some moo goo gai pan chicken and general tso chicken and egg rolls. Gotta say absolutely fresh and delicious. The quantity is enough for 2+ servings with both items and delicious left over. The reviews guided me to China Garden and hopefully this helps others find a tasty Chinese food location. I stopped in here and ordered the luncheon special of the day (rib tips). I got home to find small pieces (most no bigger than maybe a nickel) that were dry and burned.
