I recently stopped by my local Chinese food place since it sounded like it would be a fire meal after a long day of working, I simply ordered a large container of sesame seed chicken and a large box of plain white rice because I am a very basic person and this is a comfort meal for me, the chefs made my meal to perfection and the sweet lady working at the register gave me a couple extra fortune cookies to go with my meal. We tried Panda Pavilion for the first time after living in Naples for over 10 years. We were extremely happy overall with this great take-out place. We tried a little bit of everything, and nearly all of it was spectacular: steak teriyaki was tender, flavorful, and cooked to perfection, dumplings were plump and full of filling (not noodle), wonton soup was tasty, and the pork fried rice was perfectly cooked with large chunks BBQ pork. The entrees were the only hit and miss: sweet and sour chicken and hot and spicy shredded beef were absolutely delicious (ask for the beef extra spicy if you like a little kick) but unfortunately both the chicken and broccoli and chicken lo mein suffered from some gummy chicken (same cuts of chicken pieces so we think they used the same batch in the kitchen), and it turned off the diners that wanted those dishes. Overall, a great take-put Chinese place we will definitely be trying again! read more

Forgotten about this place. Kinda hidden in a small strip mall that has seen many businesses come and go. Across from Coastland mall, on the south side of Publix. Best chinese food around whether take out or sit in. Been in Naples for years. Small, Take out only, no place to eat, barely space to stand, but that's ok. Worth the eye sore. Just a bite of their rice tells you it's the real stuff here. Soft, sticky, white, yum. The kind I can eat plain with just soy sauce. Their dishes are made traditional, for instance the shrimp with lobster sauce has pork in it, lots of egg and large shrimp, while others just put shrimp and sauce. Ask for it with dark sauce. Very tasty, good portions, fast and hot. If you want the best Chinese take out in Naples You Must Come Here. Don't be fooled by the small storefront. They used to have a huge restaurant and 20 years ago they moved to this small location. Yes I have been eating here for 25 years from this business. That being said I love this small takeout place. I had just about everything on the menu but some of my favorites are their bbq boneless ribs ( absolutely awesome and very tasteful) bean curd with mixed vegetables and the pork lo mien. So I heard there weren't a lot of really outstanding Chinese restaurants around Naples. My hubs was feinding Big Time for Chinese food, so we picked this place based on Yelp reviews. This is a small place in a little strip mall. It is take out, and there is a menu to look at when you first walk in. There are many people working in the kitchen in the back, which is visible. We were greeted and when he took our order, he said it would be ready in 10 minutes. cool. So we drove next door to get some gas. I have to say this, this is the FIRST time I didn't feel like crud the next day after eating Chinese. I'm not sure why it usually effects me in a negative way.... but I had absolutely no problems with this food! We even ate the leftovers 2 days later! We ordered an egg role, Chicken and broccoli, and sweet and sour chicken. They gave us a huge heavy bag of goodies, and at first we weren't sure if it was all ours. Yes... it was!!!!! ya :) The veggies were plentiful and very fresh, the chicken was very high quality white meat! It even tasted wonderful 2 days later- which is very rare with chicken. The sticky rice was awesome- and there was so much of it! In fact, there was so much of everything, we couldn't fed 5 people easily on two meals. And we eat at Sails, Chops, Continental etc all the time (I.e. we spend money) and Panda is the absolute bomb if you want authentic Chinese food. So first things first. This place is take out / delivery only. They don't have a proper dining room and the location is in an old strip mall but don't that discourage you because the food is delicious. Everything we ordered was fresh, hot and flavorful. Mongolian Beef, General Tsao Chicken, Chicken Lo Mein and Egg Rolls were our dinner items. I would suggest calling them directly if you're doing pickup so you avoid the online fees. This is a great hidden gem for Chinese food in Naples! I go to places based solely on reviews and this one was hard to find, since I didn't see it on my Apple Maps. I know I haven't tried all the Chinese food locations yet, but I thought I had already found the best until I came here. Also, I can make a fair judgement for the most part, as I get the same thing at every Chinese restaurant; plain lo mein and plain fried rice. Honestly, I think this is my new favorite Chinese restaurant. The noodles were darker (which means more flavor) and not mushy, the portions were huge, and the service was fast! We ordered our food at waited at the restaurant and it took maybe 8 minutes. It is a little pricey compared to other places, but it's well worth it. Shrimp with Lobster sauce was tasty and full of large perfectly cooked shrimp. Every main item was enough for at least two people. The food overall was disappointing. Best thing I got from this meal is the Tupperware. Got Kung pao chicken and it was gross. All veggies and no actual chicken and not spicy at all. Got take out about 3 weeks ago. Orange beef the pieces of beef were the size of my hand and you needed a steak knife to cut the meat. We also ordered king pow chicken the vegetables were cut in chunks not Asian style and so hot we could not eat it. There is know why the person cooking these dishes are Asian . Visiting Naples we were having trouble finding a Chinese take out restaurant with Sesame or General Tso tofu in the Yelp app. I called a few places and they were not helpful. Tried Panda Pavilion and the woman on the other end was very receptive and thrilled to fulfill our request. She had never heard of Sesame Tofu or General Tso tofu but after a brief explanation happily she said, "Okay, we try!! We also ordered vegetable mei fun with request no eggs. The rice noodles we're a little different then I'm use to and a bit oily. But we were very pleased with the tofu. For quick, cheap, easy delicious take out Panda Pavilion is about as good as it gets. Portions are ENORMOUS. 2 entrees could easily feed 4 people.
