Needed dinner after air travel arrival and figured Chinese would be the choice tonight. Landed on this place as it wasn't too far from my hotel. Ordered sesame, general tsos, and sweet and sour chicken with fried rice and two crab rangoon. Everything was fine taste wise but the texture of the two sauced chicken dishes was rather soggy and not ideal. The crab rangoon sucked as the wantons were mostly empty. I enjoyed visiting the China Garden.  It is a small restaurant with a few tables inside.  The chefs are hardworking and the food is very good.  I recently had the Port with Garlic Sauce.  I was pleased with the flavor and they were very generous in the portion provided.  I was able to enjoy it again this afternoon for lunch. The port was well made and the vegetables that came with it were cooked carefully.  The sauce was delicious.  It tasted good without being overpowering. If you are a fan of Crab Rangoon you want to go this to restaurant!  I think they invented the recipe.  It is very good here.  The pastry is cooked just right and the creamy filling is a pleasure to experience.  The drinks are cold and the service is prompt and professional. read more

I drive past about 4 other Chinese takeout restaurants just to get to this one. They have an extensive menu selection with dishes to fit most any diner's palate. My friends who are vegetarian always love when we eat here because they feel that there is a good selection of items to suit their options. I like that they have steamed diet plates with more choices than the average restaurant. They are steamed plain dishes served with white rice and sauce on the side for the health conscious diner. I'm not sure where are the great comments are coming from. My husband brought home carry out from here based on the Yelp scores and we were disappointed. The almond chicken had potential but was so dry that I had a hard time cutting it with a knife. I'm not one to turn away food but I could not even chew it! I can see if the spice level in a dish was off for somebody or maybe the sauce was too thick, but to mess up just cooking chicken is absurd. Avoid this place! read more

I've ordered carry out from this place off and on for several years. Lately their food has not been consistent. My mother and I ordered their Shrimp Lo Mein. I typically like fried rice, but thought I'd try something different. The dish was extremely salty. I could only take two bites as I feared my blood pressure going thru the roof. I put the rest in the fridge. My mother told me the following day that hers was salty as well. We decided to return food that evening. She called them first and let them know. We were able to order something else and that dish was okay. The following week, my mother ordered their house special soup. While we were sitting outside waiting on the order, my mother seen the gentleman who puts the food in the bag scratching his head excessively. My mother was so appalled, she decided not to get the soup. Unfortunately, she forgot to call them an cancel the order. The soup was only $5.25. They called her six (6) times over the course of two hours demanding she come in and get the soup. She told them she forgot to cancel the order, apologized and offered to come in the next day and pay the $5.25. The man yelled in the phone and told her he wanted her to come in that evening. I was going to take matters into my own hands, but my mother insisted I let it go. She just ignored the remaining calls. They even text her saying "Why!!!!!!!!". My mother is 71-years old and did not deserve that kind of treament. Needless to say, we will never be returning again. They don't deserve our business or anyone elses. This rating is not Covid related. I typically order vegetable fried rice and veggie egg foo young from China Chef which I would give 5 stars to China Chef (down the street). They were closed on Sunday so I order here. First off...their idea of veggie is onion and what appears to be frozen peas and diced carrots. Terrible!!! We have been this place for years. Best Chinese food in a town. Lunch Combo is reasonable and they give you PAKCED fried rice and plenty meat in a container. As a family of 4, we usually order 2 lunch and that's plenty actually. Sometime we order 3, so we can have left over on the next day. Staffs there are very friendly and their kitchen is clean. The restaurant manager was very nice when he was closing the restaurant but I had called my order without knowing he was closing. He made my ONE order and waited till I got there. Typical stripmall restaurant. Located in the Rite Aid Plaza. They have a few eat in tables, but are mostly take out oiented. The menu is normal for what is offered in these restaurants. I tried the lunch special for $5 which was the chicken in garlic sauce w fried rice. It was a ton of food. Served up lightning fast and flavorful with crisp vegetables. The staff was friendly. Been here a few times now, and always order the General Tso's Chicken. I come here usually after visiting Wayne Rec and just need to get something quick. After last night, don't think I'll be back for quite a while. After ordering General Tso's there 3 times, I thought there would be something redeeming in the taste that would make me come back for more - that's not the case, I believe my short term memory must be fading. Everytime, they say they can make it as spicy as I want, and each time I order it extra hot. Unfortunately, extra hot is less than mild. I have no clue what they are adding that they think makes it spicy, but it doesn't translate to the dish itself. The chicken soaked up all the sauce, and the rice was bland. The egg roll was good at best. After seeing some reviews bragging about the pot stickers, I decided to give them a try. The inside was great, but small, and the dough was thick and chewy. Not in the same class as my favorite, New Peking Pot Stickers at all. I started removing the meat inside from the dough and just ate that... Ugh. After 3x, that's enough for me. First time eating here and it's pretty good. We had the sweet and sour chicken and general Tao chicken. The batter on the S&S chicken was nice and light and the sauce came on the side which is always a huge bonus the only complaints I have about the sauce are that it was on the thin side and tasted a little too pineapplely. GT chicken we ordered hot, now it was as hot as chinease food gets but still never spicy enough. The egg rolls were pretty good and in my opinion it's hard to find good egg rolls so bravo. They were extremely busy when we picked up our order which is nice because you know they are making to order and they must be good if they're busy. The kitchen is open so you can see what is going on that is also something I like about this place. I gave it 4 stars because it's not the best chinease food I've had but for sure one of the better.
