The place was fabulous for a Christmas lunch. So many choices and food was hot or cold appropriately. Staff was awesome, kept drinks filled and consistent on taking dirty dishes. The place was well clean, well lit and not too hot, cold or loud. The only thing that was concerning were the young kids getting food themselves. Hands in the ice cream, dropping jello on the ground. Parents, come on step it up. Anyone under 10 needs an adult to get the food. Really wish a staff member was scooping the ice cream. Otherwise totally worth the money. Loved it, would recommend it and will return.

It was clean and the food was decent. My friend didn't care for the Mongolian barbecue. The ice cream was really good. I also really enjoyed the chicken nuggets.

If I may be honest, I didn't expect to plan a birthday here. We called seven places and landed with this buffet which is down a few blocks from our home. I lived here for fairly 15 years, and it was our first time trying it that day! I understood why God made me waited for this long and that is to celebrate and experience it together. I loved the environment, and beautiful service that was conducted. That day was filled with love and blessings-- our guests enjoyed the food and hospitality. It was a beautiful memorable day for the birthday ‍

Restrooms uneasy but the hot water was working!

The ambiance was highly lacking and the food very mediocre, a lot of food that could and should of been cooked longer was obviously rushed. Right when you walk in you have to pay before you sit. I took my kids and the smaller one hardly ate anything.

Food was fresh and plenty full selection was typical one drawback was the place setting was plastic wear not very sturdy Place was clean and kept up

    Dirty tables

Hot food is cold. Server behind buffet is rude and polices your food selection. Manager is unaccomodating. Never returning. Waitstaff is very good. Stressfull after being co fronted with another guest who claimed to be an executive chef. Should find out about his restaurant, make sure to not patronize it.

This place has really good food but it could be more sanitary, I found a hair cooked in my shrimp and killed a roach crawling on my table and previously saw a roach crawling on the plates my sushi area!!!

Stopped here after a hike I couldn't bottom down the 1st plate very cold food and made me feel like nauseous and I eat a lot of food.

Just a heads-up, the service charge here is mandatory, and the tone of the notice was very poor. I was really shocked to receive this notice from a self-service buffet restaurant where I pay at the front and don't get extra services like drink refills or dish delivery.

Xiao Long Bao's flavor profile tasted more like steamed dumplings. Beef roll didn't taste as good as I remembered (probably because it had slightly less hoisin sauce), but it was still a good beef roll nonetheless. * Personally G4 Black Pepper Beef Fried Udon ($15.99) was a surprising discovery and an S-tier dish. Basically think of it as beef chow fun, but replace flat noodles with udon and add egg and bell pepper - excellent flavor profile. C3 Pan Fried Pork Bao (6 pieces - $13.00) were comparable to the ones from Kang Kang Food Court. 4.5 stars for the food with 4 items enough to feed 3 to 4 adults. I would say their noodle dishes like Beef Noodle Soup / Black Pepper Beef Fried Udon / Fujian Style Fried Vermicelli are slightly better than their dumpling dishes. Bump it up to 5-star for the excellent service. P.S. - There's another new location in Diamond Bar.

My favorite was definitely the black pepper beef udon! It was flavored really nicely and the udon was a good consistency. The beef noodle soup was also very delicious and it would be perfect on a cold day. I do wish the XLB was a little softer and warmer. We beat the rush and were seated quickly. We also got our food fast as well. This plaza does get busy but parking is not too bad.

Overall, it was a great experience! Definitely on the pricier side, but we had a good time and the food and service made it worth it. Food was everything we expected! We usually come here for lunch either before our massage or after our massage, so it has become one of our regular places. That day, we stopped by for lunch before our massage. I ordered my favorite dish here, the Shrimp with Cashews, and my friend ordered the Seafood Noodle. I've been coming to this restaurant many times, but surprisingly, this was the first time I had ever seen the Seafood Noodle on the menu. I was curious about what it was like because my friend told me it is one of her favorite dishes. So, that day, I finally got to see it for myself. It came with two pieces of fresh ramen noodles, vegetables that looked like bok choy, and seafood underneath, including what looked like squid. I tried a bite, but honestly, it wasn't really my taste. So, I mostly enjoyed my favorite Shrimp with Cashews with lots of rice. I ate quite a bit, but there were still plenty of shrimp left, so I told my friend to finish them. My friend ended up eating quite a lot of the shrimp, too. Another thing I really like about coming here for lunch is that they offer unlimited rice, which is always a nice bonus. After we finished our meal, they brought out complimentary oranges. The oranges are always so fresh and delicious, and I really enjoy having them at the end of the meal. The servers are also always friendly and attentive, and they are quick to bring anything we need, which was really good. Since we went around lunchtime that day, we also got to see the servers sitting together around a large round table, having their own meal. It was actually nice to see them all eating together during their break. Overall, Boston Lobster is always a reliable go-to spot for us, especially when we're in the area for a massage. The food is satisfying, the service is friendly, and the unlimited rice and fresh complimentary oranges are always a nice touch. Since my friend drove that day, I paid for both the lunch at this restaurant and the dessert we had at another place afterward.

Not that this place is any closer but now I know of it in case I'm around and craving it. Starting with parking - I guess there's a lot behind but I parked on the residential side street. It was free and I didn't see any restrictions (signs). There's street parking on the main drag but I'm not a fan of trying to park or pull out when cars are doing freeway speeds on surface streets. Walked in and immediately seated. Glad I got there when I did because shortly after I was seated, the crowd hit and diners were standing waiting for a seat. I got there before the lunch crowd. It's my first time and it was on a Sunday so I can't tell you what their peak times are. Call and ask or chat with a regular. Service was find. When needed, I waved someone down. Typical service I expect from a Vietnamese restaurant. As for the food, I ordered too much. I ended up taking a bunch home, mostly the rolls. I don't like soup to go. Noodles would have gotten too soggy ... But I enjoyed it to the point I know I'll go back. The broth hit me on the first sip. It felt like a punch of flavor that woke up my taste buds in a really good way. I took several sips before putting my Pho together to start eating. At other places, I'm used to getting a portion of how many rolls were served here. I ended up eating half of each, taking the rest home. I like that they were balanced with ingredients - I wasn't looking whether something was missing or not. I could tell with each bite. I really enjoyed this place and I only wish it was closer.

Lots of regulars in the restaurant it seemed. On this night , there were short staffed and I had to remind my server about my order a few times. The manager came out to apologize. She was a very good manager and handled things well. She offered me a discount, but I refused. Instead, she gave me a refreshing watermelon drink on the house. I will come back, next time I'm in town.

The 4 of us especially liked the white fish with basil and the shrimp with snow peas. The rice noodles with seafood and the kung pao were also good. That said, we like our food spicier, so we asked for chili oil and limes. Some dishes did have vegetables, but when I go again I'll order a vegetable dish. Service was stellar - personal, but never intrusive. I liked that we were seated immediately and still given time for our late guests to arrive. Food arrived quickly once we ordered. They were gracious about splitting the tab afterwards, but could easily have asked whether we wanted separate checks since we were 3 unrelated sets of adults that arrived separately. So, what could have been better? The chafing spoons were too small and too few, leaving us to pull the chafing plate to the edge of the lazy Susan and scrape. My dinner plate was too small, so I made a bit of a mess while eating. The main room is noisy, even with some empty tables, Next time I'll ask for a table in the quiet section (to the right when coming in the main door.) I've driven past Newport Seafood many times and not gone in because the parking lot was already full, and it's not my style to park elsewhere and walk over.
