Having tried the orange chicken and szechuan chicken so far, I can say that we are quite happy. Next time I'll take pictures, but the servings sizes are large. As an adult with a fairly normal appetite, each meal is actually 2, which is great. Who doesn't like having leftovers? The lady who works there seems quite nice too. I've tried the other Chinese place in Mocksville (which I won't name), but the quality there is low. The meat is fatty and the vegetables sometimes seem like they're a little old. It's nice to not have to drive to Clemmons just for some Chinese food. I'll be ordering again soon, I'm sure.

Hibachi Steak with Fried Rice and Sweet Carrot and mushroom. Steak was very good ! It's the cube steak and pretty juicy! Vege choice a little weird. But not bad in taste. Overall not a bad choice for $8.00

The owners/ employees are rude every time you walk in or call in a to go order. Way over priced considering surrounding Chinese restaurants.

It's alright. Standard Chinese menu. Fast service. Nothing spectacular but satisfies the Chinese fix.

It's odd because ever since Covid, there are hardly any cars in the parking lot. I assume a significant portion of their business is take out. We dined in and were the only customers during the entire time we ate. The New T chicken, General Tso and Sesame chicken are damn good. The best deals are the combos, which gives you the entree, fried rice and egg roll. You can add chicken wings for a nominal up-charge. Note, the Coke products come from a can. The ambiance is rough. The dining room chairs and tables are very ornate. The dining room furniture hasn't changed from my review back in 2012. The seat cushions still have the original plastic covers on them. It looks like they are using a section of the dining room for storage. In the past Dynasty provided homemade hot mustard and chili oil. Both were great. When I asked for this the last time, I was give packets. Very disappointing. Not sure if they stopped making it from scratch or if there was a language barrier between me and the waitress. Overall, the food is very good. Just have to overlook the in-dining aspects.

We had beef and broccoli with tons of both broccoli and beef with a side of fried rice included. The next table ordered just the fried rice as an entree. It tasted great. Wonderful egg rolls, pork, shrimp or veggie. Then there is the Mongolian beef, hot hot hot. You can remove the fiery chilies to moderate the fire. Great taste with lots of beef. It comes with white rice. They even have sweet tea for a little Southern charm. Bottled soft drinks. The lunch menu is extensive. The regular menu is hugh. ENJOY!

Even American-style Chinese food (ACF). This place was a strong win for ACF for us- including great food portion size, quality, price & all. Got a summer cold & wanted soup within reasonable driving distance. (The places closest to us are unappetizing or grossly unclean- not this place!) Chose this location for its variety of soups & fuller menu. Order was: an egg drop wonton soup (soothing and filling) a hot and sour soup (quality ingredients) crab rangoon (wonton cream cheese crisps with sizeable side of dipping sauce) and a truly EXCELLENT spicy sweet orange beef. ***Healthy portion sizes for the price*** Spouse commented that the entree was almost all beef with a little broccoli & that the beef was not "weird"- that's high praise. I could see red chili pepper slivers & orange peel along with the minimal broccoli. Nice flavors. Ambiance: Was not the one who picked up the meal but heard it was more of a to-go rather than sit down place. Service: Very friendly in-store service & ordering over the phone was easy, quick. I value an easy phone call over using an app to order when pics of food are not available online. Note: we took no pics bc we were just that hungry. But I will take pics next time for y'all. And there will be a next time...just less soup!

The menu has a great mix of familiar Chinese dishes alongside more traditional regional specialties, and it's clear the restaurant isn't afraid to lean into bold, spicy flavors. The ambiance is cozy. It looks like they turned an old Biscuitville into the dining space, which is quite charming. We ordered quite a few dishes, including the steamed soup dumplings, ox tongue and tripe with chili sauce, Singapore mei fun, intestine with chili pepper, mapo tofu, kung pao chicken, and the intestine noodle. Everything was well prepared, but the standout was how the restaurant balances more "American Chinese" flavors while also staying true to some more traditional chinese flavors as well. The chili-forward dishes had plenty of heat without overpowering the other flavors, and each dish had its own distinct character. The ox tongue and tripe appetizer and the intestine dishes were great options if you're looking to try something a little more traditional. The portions were generous, making it a great place to order several dishes and share with the table. If you're used to American Chinese food, this menu offers a chance to branch out and try something different while still having plenty of familiar options available. If there is a dish I would not order again, it would probably be the soup dumplings. They tasted just like the store bought frozen variety that you can steam at home. Nonetheless, New Sichuan Restaurant is well worth a visit if you're desiring flavors that somewhat lean towards more traditional Sichuan cooking.

They are very willing to do substitutions for vegetarian meals, I even have had tofu Dan Dan noodles there. The spicy dishes are indeed spicy! Some of the portions could be a little bigger, but everything is very tasty. I love their bok choy, which is in many of their dishes. The spicy wontons were room temperature, and I'm not sure if they're supposed to be, but they were the only thing we haven't loved. My Chongqing noodles with tofu added was absolutely delicious and very spicy! There's not a lot of description on their menu, so you may want to do a little research before going.
