I haven't gotten food here in 10 years. I was hoping it was good or better than they used to be. Hubs got shrimp lo mein. Plenty of shrimp, they were overcooked, but he didn't care because he was hungry. I ordered wonton soup w/ extra bag of noodles, combo General Tso chicken and a bag of crab rangoon. There was zero spice in my chicken. I asked for spicy. The fried rice was so undercooked. It was crunchy, not in a good way. The noodles with the soup were so stale and they didn't give me a 2nd bag that I'd ordered and paid for. The crab rangoon wrappers were so stale and the filling was lacking. I threw away the egg roll after one bite. Wrapper was stale and filling was not good. I will try to find another place. I don't want to eat there again. read more

Let me start out by saying we really were surprised by our order and experience on 12/8/23. We've eaten at Great Wall before and been very happy- quality, quantity, taste, etc- that's why we've gone back a number of times. The last time (before this) we went was early fall. So when we were looking for something quick, hot and tasty, we called ahead and placed our order for beef & brocoli, and fried rice.... but when we got it home, the rice wasn't fried (more like yellow-ish colored white rice with a couple of peas and carrots, and the beef wasn't.... beef(?)-- it was grey and slimy and just terrible....... we remarked about being surprised at the quality, but decided to "sit on it," figuring that if we still felt the same way the next day, we'd go back and tell them about the experience. , The earliest I had a chance to go back was 12/10 to give them feedback and a chance to make it right-- wasn't asking for a refund, but thought perhaps they'd make a gesture. Instead- nothing. Their response was that we should have called that night, but 2 days later, nothing could be done. End of story. So between food quality and lack of customer service we (sadly) won't be going back. Uh wow. So I have driven by this place dozens of times- but recently heard from a friend how delicious it is. So tonight we ordered for delivery- it is a ton of food! We have so much leftover for tomorrow! Everything was so hot and fresh and the flavor was so good. On the spicy entrees you can choose your heat level- my fiancé likes things spicy- Me not so much. From time of order to deliver was almost exactly 30 min (just under actually) which I thought was a very reasonable period of time- the estimate it gave me online was about an hour. We will definitely be ordering from here again! The sesame chicken was so good and flavorful- it was down near the bottom of the menu. The crab Rangoons were so creamy and delicious and the fried wontons were so good! And they came with a lot per one order! My fiancé had the Kung Pao chicken and wanted it really spicy- didn't get a picture of that but he devoured it read more

A neighborhood family Chinese restaurant located next to Caesars Pizza on the NE corner of Rockwell Ave and NW 122d St. It's located in a small strip mall with plenty of parking. Staff is family and very prompt. There are 4 tables inside, but I've never seen anyone actually dine in. Majority of the customers typically do the take out plan. You can call in your order or do it in person. They have an extensive menu so it would be hard pressed not to find something you would consider ordering. Based on the variety of dishes I've ordered, the food is bland which is why I gave this restaurant only 3 stars. Better than greasy I assume. A simple sprinkle of hot sauce made it better for me. My favorite dishes are Shrimp Lo Mein, Fried Rice, Orange Chicken, General Tso Chicken, and anyone of the tofu dishes. read more

Ordered the combination fried rice and brought it home for takeout. Had to pick out the chicken out of the rice because I've never ate chicken that tasted like this in my 40 years of life on earth. Had a Strange texture, too soft (couldn't feel the fibers) with no taste at all. Not sure if it was undercooked or just really really poor grade chicken. Picked it out so hopefully won't get sick. Love their take-out!!!! So much food, so fresh! We lean towards egg rolls, hot & sour soup, and the cashew chicken. I have yet to try something different that I did not like. Some portions can also be made 'smaller' so look closely at their menu. Whoever takes your order will help you out. I can't say enough bad things about this food. We ordered online and it took over 60 minutes. The order was incorrect and several aspects of the order had been left off or substituted with different foods. The fried rice tasted of old oil and you could taste the flavor bad oil. The eggrolls were without flavor and were soggy. Delivery time was good. Food was awful. We've had ordered from them a handful of times over the past couple years and it seems to be getting worse. The "chicken" in the chicken fried rice was white globs of mushy undercooked imitation chicken of some kind. We didn't even know what it was. Same story in the chicken lo Mein. Without a doubt 100% WORST CHINESE IVE EVER HAD. Went here last night because I couldn't stop thinking about how I wanted some good General Tso Chicken for dinner. We ordered General Tso Chicken with white rice, Hot & Spicy Chicken with fried rice and a Hot & Sour Soup. The General Tso was extremely soggy and greasy, super bland, no flavor at all and deff no spice, same with the Hot & Spicy Chicken.... not spicy at all and flavorless. The fried rice was basically white rice but yellow, zero veggies, zero flavor. I honestly think it may have been made previously and just microwaved before we picked it up. It took us 8 mins to get there after we ordered and it was all boxed and bagged up and ready to go. I was super disappointed because I'm pregnant and I had been craving good Chinese all day. My boyfriend didn't eat more than 3 bites of the Hot & Spicy Chicken he ordered it was THAT BAD. The soup was the only thing that was even edible really. I felt bad throwing all that food in the trash, what a waste of $30 but was truly that repulsive. Should've known something was up when all the lights on the sign out front were out. I should've listened to the other reviews on this place but it was closer to the house so we decided to give it a try. If I could give a 0 I would. My husband ordered me rice noodles with his regular and just asked that they steam them or put them in a separate wok, since I have celiac. Normally I would never order from Chinese take-out but we had a busy day and ran out of options. The boy on the phone was very nice, but when he asked his "manager" if they could cook it in a separate wok he just heard yelling in the background. My husband said never mind and hung up and Ofcourse no call back. He has been a customer of this place for 5 years until today.
