This was a take out order. We haven't had Chinese food in awhile, so we chose this restaurant. It's a Buffet restaurant, bar we didn't eat in. My husband ordered egg foo young, house rice, and ribs. They have a variety of chicken dishes with similar but slightly different flavors - all delicious. They had this katsu in what tasted like a sesame sauce - to die for! Green beans were good, not too greasy nor mushy. Service is excellent, ladies were so nice and friendly, your empty plates swiftly removed, your drinks serves promptly. This is a nice spacious restaurant that's very clean and bright. The owner is welcoming and hard working. She is a sweetheart. The food is always hot and refilled when low. Sunday's are a good day to go if you like shrimp. Sunday pricing is 8.25/person. Such a bargain for all the beef, pork, chicken, and veggies you can eat. There's a small salad bar, soup, and ice cream. As well as many desserts like pudding and petite cakes and jello and fresh fruits and whipped cream. Bring your appetite for sure! read more

I was dissapointed in that I ordered Cashew chicken. It was listed on menu as carrots, celery, water chestnuts, bamboo shoots, cashews . I even asked when ordering if there were lots of different vegtables and she said yes. All that was in it was carrots and celery. It was hot and tasted ok. Egg rolls were bland. Gave this place a try twice since it's so close to home but the first time I didn't enjoy the food or atmosphere. Not the friendliest folk work here. And gotta love the couple arguing in Chinese the whole time to whet my appetite. Tried a "Korean" item in the buffet and it was the furthest thing from being Korean. Don't insult my culture by throwing in a pound of onions and chili flakes and calling it Korean. The 2nd time around, they charged for my 2 year old that eats like a bird. First let me say that if you are using a GPS to find this place, you won't! It will get you close as mine did, but to the restaurant. So here is a tip, China Inn is behind the Bridal Elegance building. I always keep in mind when going to a Chinese Buffet, it is a buffet and usually it is a old restaurant that has been repurposed into a Chinese buffet. The hostess was pleasant and friendly but the guy cleaning the tables just stuck to his job. Most of the trays on food were kept at a low amount, but seemed to be hot and fresh. Repeated trips back to the serving line showed that they were being filled and nothing looked empty. The only negative thing about this place is that it needs some cleaning up and painting. There are cracks in the walls and either mold or dirt in the corners where we were sitting. read more

I don't write a lot of reviews, but this place is worth my imaginary internet points. Crashing at a hotel down the road for work so I got some take out to bring back to my room. I ordered 2 orders of chicken sticks - menu said there were 4 in an order. I got 6 in each order. Large wonton soup - Awesome! 2 egg rolls - Nothing special, but very good. Beef and onion combo & general tsos combo plate. - Fried rice was good. Entrées were average. All this for less than $25 and the lady working there was incredible courteous and pleasant. Would give this place zero stars if I could. Went in there a couple months ago and the rude guy that works there more or less screamed at me asking if I wanted more Pepsi? He scowls at customers and just walks around looking utterly miserable. In my opinion as someone who has worked in restaurants serving customers, it's not good for business to walk around looking like you hate the world and every customer in your restaurant is included. Food is boring and generic tasting. Everything pretty much tastes the same with just a variation in veggies. Couldn't, in good conscience, recommend it to anyone hungry for Chinese food. It was a nice 70 degree day. We entered restaurant and felt the heat. It was like a sauna in the restaurant, the windows were covered by moisture. It was comparable to the inside of a heated indoor pool area. Our server made it to the table dripping sweat. He looked at us like we were interrupting his day. He had a permanent scowl on his face. His service never improved. The food was below average with no fried rice. How does a Chinese buffet not have fried rice. I had some chicken on a stick, my last bite ended with what tasted like black licorice. I have no clue as to what that was. The only plus was the cheap price. If you are broke then have at it but if not then find another place to eat. Will never make that mistake again. read more

Don't waste your time please, take the extra drive to Peru and go to House of Hunan. They are always good to their customers and have a wide variety selection of food. Am I wrong for thinking that if the sign says "OPEN" then they should be ready for business? It's 11:11 and none of the food is out except for the salad bar. The only person I see is the guy doing the seating and a woman making a dessert from the salad bar.
