My go to Chinese food place, however apparently there is a policy if you order food call not even 5 minutes later to add and take one thing off you are not allowed to. We went super late at night, around 9pm, so it was super quiet and intimate which was nice. The service was great. The lady at the front was so super helpful and sweet. It cost us $33 for 2 combos and an order of crab Rangoon, which I feel was totally worth it. There was plenty to bring home for another meal. The orange chicken was delicious and so was the generals! Pretty consistent fare we always get delivered. Food is always hot and the quantities are pretty large. We like the fried chicken wings, shrimp rolls, sugar donuts and rangoons as non entree orders. Mei fun and Chicken with broccoli are two of the main entrees we like to order. Combo plates can be ordered anytime and come with an egg roll and white or fried rice. I'd say we have ordered here a dozen or more times and rarely have had any issues. May not be the most authentic Asian but they are the best in the area. read more

First visit was tonight. Ordered "off the menu" over the phone and happily they agreed and produced the entree Order was ready on time and food was very good. I hand out very few 5 star reviews and 4 stars after a first visit is as big a compliment as I can give. Young lady was friendly and accommodating. Food was prepared as requested. I did so want to like this place after reading the good reviews herein. Guess I should have read the one and two star reviews. Egg drop soup is that thick gooey kind, not to my liking. Crispy noodles are not crispy and not tasty. Vegetable fried rice has plenty of good vegetables (peas, pea pods, mushrooms, onions, carrots, broccoli) but is absolutely tasteless. I can't even describe how bland it was, (maybe like eating a piece of cardboard?) Spring roll was thick like an egg roll and just plain awful tasting. Needless to say I won't be back. read more

Sorry but this was a Huge Disappointment! We had Shrimp Fried Rice and Beef Fried Rice and it the singular most bland Fried Rice we have ever had (pictures attached). It was positively amazing how there was absolutely no flavor! Beef and Shrimp were sparse and also flavorless. If you want to make allowances because we did order very near closing time take your chances. They were both very nice but sorry ... the food was very sub-par. read more

Don't bother ordering from here. You would be better off nukeing a frozen Chun king dinner. We tried them 2 xs thinking the first time may have been a one off. Nope the second time was so bad we could not eat it and wound up trashing the food. There was little to no seasoning or flavor and the quality of the meat and seafood was poor. This is THAT cheap chinese food place, there are other Chinese options on the island, but take it from me - they're awful. All of them. Go to China King's website, look at the menu, & pick up the phone. Admittedly, there are better options in Foley (Dragon City) and if you want to pay more (I very rarely do) you can go to Aji Sai in Gulf Shores north of the bridge. Both are a trek, and they certainly aren't delivering onto the island. But yeah, at the risk of sounding redundant: everyone knows what you're getting when you prepare to order take-out chinese, right? This is our (Gulf Shores/ Orange Beach) THAT kind of restaurant. I eat here about once a week to get my General Tso's itch - if you're in the GS/OB area and need to placate your desire for Chinese food, stop here. read more

Everything is cooked to order, well except the side sauces, hence the 1 star taken away... we ordered our meal and ate it there..few tables, they must make most of their $$ on to-go or delivery. The food was great and just like prior reviews state, it was freshly cooked and hot.
