I heard this establishment has been open for a very long time and I've never been inside. So for the past 6 months I have tried it 4 times and every time I've gone to get food it's been getting really better. For $11 dollars you can easily feed 2 - 3 people. I know a lot of people are picky and complain but the portions and quality are excellent for the value. Go get fast food and see how much you get for the price of their take out boxes. I always get the chow mein, only because I'm not fan of their fried rice it's just a personal preference. But their spicy and black pepper chicken are really good. If you're looking for something not fancy and need a protein and carb fix give this place a try. It will be better than the other Chinese spots in a 10 mile radius. read more

The food arrived hot. It was Japanese chicken and kung pao chicken with rice and chow mein. The Japanese chicken was orange chicken. I never ordered from here and saw this on the menu so I thought I would try it. The kung pao was very good crispy fresh vegetables. No peanuts. I've been coming to China King, do not remember that was the original name back in 1994 when I started going there. We would always get a chow mein fried rice, orange chicken, and the spicy chicken. I came yesterday with my nephew for my mother's birthday. We got three trays of the spicy chicken and three small containers of chow mein. Food is very delicious and fresh Mr. David, which is the cook is very kind, always happy, smiling always greeting everybody and is polite to his employees, he gave us some popsicles yesterday. I told the lady at the register that we came from L.A. and she said do they not have Chinese food over there? And I told her yes but we just come here just for the spicy chicken. Just looked this place up after I Asked my husband where he got us food from since he did door dash a few days ago.... I always look up reviews, he usually does too, he obviously missed the mark this time. He ordered some fried rice with beef for himself, and soup for me. I had a few sips of the soup and it had zero flavor and tasted off to Me. (Chicken in it looked like it was old chicken that was used for another dish and tossed in there, mushrooms looks shriveled and zucchini was hard) so I refused to eat more, it didn't seem worth it to me. My husband ate all his food even though he said it didn't taste the best, but he was so hungry and ate it anyway. I always tell him if In doubt, toss it out because it's not worth your health. I ended up going to the bathroom only a few times from that nasty soup that I have very little of. But poor him had a few hard days of bathroom visits from getting sick from this horrible place!!! Respectfully, if I could give this place a 0 stars, I would. I get there and idk if she's frustrated or something but the lady had an attitude. I ignore it, I'm nice and I carry on. I ordered a 2 item plate. Chow mein, mushroom chicken, & bbq pork. She tried giving me OLD food of what was left over of the mushroom chicken. There was NO chicken, of course if I'm going to be paying that much, I'm going to request for them to bring out more. I then order another 2 item plate. As I was waiting for the mushroom chicken, (easily waited 30 mins total), my other food that she left out was getting cold. I told her how much longer it'd take because the other food was getting cold. She gave me an attitude and said "it's cooking wait". I was like??? I get home, and as expected, the food is cold. The food here is mediocre. I got spicy orange chicken which the sauce was on point but the chicken wasn't great and had to much breading. I also got broccoli beef and BBQ pork. I didn't like the pork at all, instead of marinating the meat and actually grilling it so you get those nice bits of char they baked in them let it sit in a watered down bbq sauce. Update review. Ever since my last review my rating for this place has plummeted. I really tried liking this place but everytime I go I feel like they get more stingy with the food. I ordered beef and broccoli, and as the lady was getting it, whatever the amount she put on my plate she started to remove most of the beef and added more broccoli instead. Wtf.. If you guys are vegetarian come here cause they're generous on the vegetables. If you like meat you're shit of luck here. And they still haven't removed the free soda if you check-in crap here.
