This used to be my all time favorite for chinese food. But over the last year it has declined. The food isn't as good and they are sometimes out of items and have to substitute with something else. It's pretty disappointing because I have been a customer there for 17 years and now I am going to have to start looking for a new chinese food venue. :( read more

The food here is delicious. You know the food is fresh not only because it tastes good but because they make your food at the moment while right in front of you. You can watch them cooking it! I wish I could rate this lower than "Not good". I ordered from China One, Oviedo, FL, this afternoon through Uber Eats. China One did not follow the notes I included with the order. The food had the wrong ingredients; it was tasteless; the meats were tough. I tried to call the restaurant; they hung up on me twice. I very much liked China One when I went there in person. But this has forever ruined it for me. I tried to get some resolution through Uber Eats, but they were completely non-helpful, although I know they aren't responsible for the quality of the food. Went to china one due to yelps rating. We usually go to Panda Express, and wanted to try something local. Prices look inexpensive, but when we got our lunches there wasn't much chicken in the mix. Not sure what we can order to get a decent amount of meat, most of their entries have a meat with rice, or Lomaine. If we find something where we can order the meat and side separately we may go back. But when they combine both you have mostly just carbs. read more

This is our standard go-to Chinese take-out place primarily because it's within a mile of home and the service is very quick. The food is average...not bad but nothing special. The lunch specials are very reasonable at around $5.50 for most but consisting primarily of fried rice and a smaller entree. I find I'm usually better off to order ala carte by getting a pint container of what i really want to eat which comes with a small steamed rice on the side and order soup (if I want any) separately. It's a couple or so dollars more but more of what you want and less fried rice. If a man takes your order over the phone be careful to check your bag contents before you leave. I've found mistakes made frequently when one of the men happen to fill in for any of the women on the phone. read more

I have been going to China One for twenty years, at this location, and prior to it's opening, at their former location in Casselberry. Today, I got my worst meal, ever. I ordered Kung Pao Chicken, Beef and Broccoli, Egg Rolls, and Fried Chicken Wings,with Chicken Fried Rice. Firstly, they screwed up and gave me Chicken and Broccoli. I said I'd take it. It had no taste. It was underseasoned. It had no discernable taste of onions, garlic, salt or pepper. It just tasted like chicken and broccoli in brown sauce. The Kung Pao chicken, which should be spicy, was bland. Although I saw a few flakes of pepper, I could not taste any red pepper, and again, no garlic, onions or salt and pepper. The dish was about 30 percent celery, with two or three mushrooms and a few pieces of zucchini. The fried chicken had lost it's breading, al though it tasted fine, and the Chicken Fried Rice was ok. Egg Rolls were fine. I keep hoping that quality will improve, but it seems to be going down, along with their portion sizes. Their prices, however keep climbing. I wouldn't mind paying premium prices for great food, but I'm about ready to give up on China One. read more

This is our go to place for quick and yummy food. It always fills the spot for us. The food is prepared quickly and tastes great. Our kids always ask for extra fortune cookies and red sauce for the soup crunchies. So glad they are so close to home. read more

This was my first time trying this place. I ordered a large chicken fried rice and fried dumplings. This was the worst Chinese food I have ever had. The rice was hard, had bad flavor and some of the chicken was brown. The rice literally had crunch to it. The dumplings were also not good and were slimy. Not very customer friendly service. I placed an order a few days ago and was double charged. The male employee kept charging my card because the receipt wouldn't print out. I was told I would get a credit to my account as they knew I was double charged. The credit was never refunded. I called back and requested info letting them know I was not credited. The female became upset telling me that I needed to go in and show my receipt. What receipt? It wouldn't print out! So she continued to yell saying she didn't have time to help me right now because she had customers to deal with. Well, wasn't I also a customer when your double charged me? And now, I'm not good enough? This is extremely frustrating as I know how important it is to take care of her current customers and make money however, what about this customer who was double billed. My money is important too. Their food is pretty good compared to other restaurants near me but the friendliness and customer courtesy is horrible and definitely not worth being double charged for. read more

Though they post a photo of chicken and string beans, they rarely have it available. Their crab Rangoon is the WORST I've ever eaten. It's always overcooked, there is next to no filling inside the nearly burnt shell, and they would be best used as a door stop than as food. They are quick, courteous, and have a great location. As more restaurants come to Oviedo, I feel certain they will have to step up their game or close. read more

Can't believe this place is still in business. They are so rude, they act like they are doing you a favor for selling you cheap overpriced food. Order shrimp and broccoli and you get a bunch of broccoli and two shrimp. Every entree is loaded with the cheap stuff and you get very little chicken or shrimp. read more

Best Take Out Chinese fast food around...The food is always cooked fresh to order.....Very good tasting ...The Egg rolls are always fresh and taste like hometown eggrolls from Chinatown in NYC. The fried rice gets the best rating ...it has good flavor and very moist.....not like some other places that make their rice very dry. I suggest if you did happen to catch a bad review someday...I'd say try them again - It could have been an off day by one of the cooks....(as can happen on any day - any restaurant)otherwise I highly recommend this place read more

Great New York style Chinese , lived here for 14 years and moved from northeast, this is the closest to northern Chinese we've found. Family owned, just great people that live in the community. A must try in my book. read more

I live nearby and find the food here is always made quickly, tastes great and rice is never dry like other places. I usually order between the chicken lo mein, fried dumplings, general tsos or bourbon chicken lunch / dinner specials. My sons enjoy the chicken wings. We have also tried the ribs (with and without bone), and find them to be delicious. The staff has always been friendly to me, and I can't remember our order ever being wrong in the past few years. The dine-in area is minimal, but it's no different from other Chinese take-out locales. Not recommend for a foodie, as I doubt you would enjoy it here, but again, it's a quick take-out place. read more

WORST Chinese I have ever had and cannot believe the review people are posting. Ordered bourbon chicken with fried rice and egg roll. The chicken was dark, dry and old. The rice was terrible with hard rice and the peas in the rice are hard and old. The egg roll barely had any filling and it was not good. The egg rolls were sitting there in the restaurant already fried. I think they refry them. I will never go back. They are down the street from my home. I should share a post of my black dark dry chicken.... pictures are worth a thousand words. these folks should be ashamed of themselves. I've been going to this place out of habit, It's close and I know what to order and what not to so it's safe. Or was. Sunday was my last visit. for the untold number of times, the order was wrong, it was NOT spicy, I habitually ask for extra spicy, the crab rangoon was almost empty and they served me less, by volume than they charged me for. These things have happened once or twice before individually, but this time, all at once. As if they were somehow trying out the most profitable way to screw me over and ultimately decided on all of them. I wish I had a time machine to go back to the moment before I spent a dime at China One. The Bourbon Chicken was unrecognizable as chicken - it was dry, old, chunks of something. The beef fried rice had 3 pieces of beef at the top of the box. We asked for no peas so all it had was greasy rice, onions, and the aforementioned 3 small strips of beef. The crab Rangoon was ok - had to eat something because the rest got tossed in the garbage. Even the steamed rice was bad. Ugh! read more

Absolutely horrible. The worst Chinese food I have ever had. There are 5 of us in our family and none of us could eat our meals. The ingredients were of very poor quality lacked flavor. We have been going to China one for years. Today is the last time The lady is extremely rude and got our order wrong. We politely told her we ordered cashew chicken not sesame chicken. Instead of changing the order to what we wanted she sat their and argued with us and then started talking crap about us with her co-workers. The food is okay. However, the service is horrible! I called and placed our order and when I inquired about changing out white rice to fried rice I was given and order number and a time to pickup, never an answer to our question, then she just hung up. When we arrived to pickup no greeting at all. I gave them our order number and asked about the free crab rangoons when you order $30 or more and she informed me we did not order enough, our total was $29.79. I understand We did not order $30 but .21c? Where is the customer service? So we added something else and she rolled her eyes took my money and sat my change on the counter. So basically everyone on the Oviedo Facebook page told us to check this place out and since its right next to our apartment complex I gave it a try. We may or may not be back depending on the other Chinese food in the area. I'm from Massachusetts so my expectations are probably much too high for Florida. The food was mediocre. Last night on Christmas when it was super crowded, the girl working there ran out to the parking lot to give my husband the bag he forgot to pick up.
