Very cozy little restaurant, you walk in and seat yourself. Staff was very sweet and attentive! We ordered the Shrimp &Pork siu mai which were delicious. The Beef Chow Fun was good but felt like it was missing some flavor. We were able to modify the pad thai to remove the chicken &shrimp and add beef instead which was great! It's really hard not to over order here because they have such a diverse menu with various creative takes on dim sum style small plates and full on large comfort food entrees. Theirn menu is a one pager, front and back, not don't let it fool you, you can order Cantonese food, Korean, Taiwanese, and even classic "New York" style classics that the general public is used to. It was our first time at this place. They have nice interior and menu with pictures. I really loved spicy dumplings. Chicken lo mein almost hadn't any chicken. Hong Kong dumplings soup was plain without any flavor. Soup dumplings were overcooked. Pork and shrimp dumplings that were supposed to come with caviar didn't have it (they said it's same but we out of the caviar). They were also out of Sriracha. Gabe was our server. He was very kind and welcoming from the moment we walked in. He gave great recommendation and was very attentive during our visit. The restaurant was small but it was clean and smelled good. We sat right away but as we were there it started getting busy. I came with my husband and some friends. This place definitely surprised me! We stopped by on our way home on a cool day and I was really craving some soup. This spot has about 4 or five tables and we decided to dine in so we could eat it fresh. The place was clean and the server was attentive. There is a wide variety of dumplings to choose from. I ordered a wonton soup, UFO dumplings, pork buns, and soup dumplings. The wonton soup was piping hot, fresh, and so tasty. The pork buns were soft and delicious. I never had soup dumplings before. They were kind of bland to me so I would pass on that next time. My favorite of all the dumplings were the UFO dumplings which had shrimp. These had a nice crunch to them, cooked perfectly and tasted so good! Overall, this place was amazing! I will definitely come back for my dumplings cravings. I also want to try the other main dishes. This is a small location with about 10 tables. It is table service though so we sat down and looked over the menu. I appreciated that there was a picture menu in addition to the regular menu so you could see what everything looked like. We just ordered a bunch of items and honestly forgot what we ordered until everything came out. We got Thai Iced Tea Latte that was good and a large portion but I didn't realize had whipped cream on top. My husband loved it but it just wasn't what I was used to. I also liked how there were various sauces for each item as well as a house sauce and soy sauce. And the water cups and chopsticks were all metal, which was a nice touch. Our top items were the Pork and Shrimp Siu Mai, the Krab Rangoon, and the Shrimp, Pork and Chive Dumplings, that you can get steamed or fried. There is a lot of meat stuffed into each dumpling. I think that is what worked against the Pork and Napa Dumplings as it was just like one big lump of packed in ground pork so wasn't our favorite. Also, the Soup Dumplings, that I was looking forward to, almost had a boa bun consistency instead of a dumpling. But everything else was very good. Pros: As far as I know, this is the only dim sum place in Oviedo. The menu is very varied. There are options to please everyone. We got a ton of food via Uber Eats, and the restaurant got the order 100% correct, which is so rare nowadays. Everything was absolutely delicious, and what's fun is that each little thing came with the prescribed sauce for dipping. Cons: I couldn't spot a con. I was very happy with the whole experience. If they started a cart Sunday brunch, I would be very, very happy. While not a perfect replacement, these are the best we've had outside of Din Tai Fung. Loved this place. Oviedo-A tiny little spot nestled in a mostly empty strip mall. I had been craving dumplings and wanted to try a spot that apparently makes them in-house. When I walked in, the server Alyssa let me know that they were only doing takeout. That was fine because I was headed home with my food. Their air conditioner was broken, and it was extremely hot inside. There were several items on the menu that looked interesting, so I picked five to try out. Pretty much everything that we ordered was just OK. Nothing stood out as amazing or special. First step was lo mein with chicken. A bit dry and very few ingredients besides noodles. Pad Thai chicken was extremely dry and had super chewy dry noodles. Both of these dishes needed a lot more "sauce." We also ordered steamed chicken bao buns, UFO dumplings, and Sichuan spice wontons. Probably the tastiest of the bunch were the UFO Dumplings. A little overfried, but the filling was tasty. The service was friendly enough, but I probably would not return. read more

One of the few things I dislike about living in Oviedo is the lack of quality Asian food. There are several acceptable food joints (of which I would consider this place one of) but here are no great Asian food spots in Oviedo if I am being honest. Is disappointing. When we tried this place, it was promising - and to be fair, the food was not bad - it is better than the large majority in Oviedo of this type. We ordered several items including Lo Mein, Lo Mein w/ Chicken & Broccoli, & of course dumplings. My favorite were the pork dumplings - which makes total sense given their name! There were just a few and they tasted fine. THe Lo Mein and chicken was underwhelming but not bad. We had ordered take-out so I can't really comment too much on the inside of the restaurant for those that might eat-in. There is a small parking lot in the front of the small shopping area, but is is somewhat connected to a larger lot - so in a pinch one could walk from the larger lot if they ran out of parking. read more

Both of our football teams lost one Sunday afternoon, so we wanted to eat our feelings. We wanted to drown our sorrows in copious amounts of dim sum. All of the dim sum restaurants we were familiar with were sooo far away, though. What to do? Well, we had been seeing the Kung Fu Dumpling storefront in front of that Publix for a while now. Maybe we could try that? We did. And we had no regrets. We ordered like eight items and shared everything. Everything was dynamite. Nothing was too oily, nothing had too scant filling, there was an appropriate dipping sauce with the ones that needed it. A very satisfying dim sum experience for sleepy little Oviedo. I can't remember all the things I got, but cross referencing the picture I took from the menu, I know I got the -Sichuan Wonton (Shrimp & pork dumplings in a spicy sauce) -UFO Dumplings (fried dumplings with shrimp, pork & chive) -Krab Rangoon (Always) -Pan Fried Pork Buns -Steamed Shrimp, Pork & Chive Dumplings -BBQ Pork Bao (Chinese BBQ pork) -Lava Egg Yolk Buns Wow, look at that. I actually remembered seven out of the eight. Anyway, I would recommend all of them. None of them were duds. But if I had to pick a top three, definitely the Pork Buns, the Shrimp Dumplings, and the Egg Yolk Buns. Get those. You won't be sorry. Overall, I was very happy with my dim sum, and if I ever want it quick while I'm at home, I will definitely be back. read more

I did love the steamed egg buns and my daughter liked the fried pork bun, but the general assessment at our table was everything needed a healthy dose of salt or garlic or sesame oil or some sort of seasoning. This is a cute little dim sum place in Oviedo with very nice staff and chill ambiance. We ordered the xiaolongbao, char siu buns and a pad thai. Char siu buns 6/10 - the breading part had flavor which was nice as some places have doughy tasting bread. The meat to bread ratio was a little low but the overall flavor was good Xiaolongbao 5/10 - quite small and the wrapper to meat ratio was incorrect imo. It wasn't bad but it definitely could use some more flavor. Pad thai 6/10 - its supposed to come with chicken and shrimp but we subbed the chicken with tofu and they ended up subbing out both the chicken and shrimp but thats also possibly our fault for not clarifying. The texture of the pad thai, egg and tofu were good although I wish the tofu had just the slightest bit more crisp to it. However, I feel like the pad thai could have used some more seasoning. Like above, it wasn't bad but the flavor wasn't exactly there. Ube ice cream - 8/10 honestly quite refreshing and good Definitely not the most scrumptious meal but I suppose if one is in Oviedo and craving dim sum-like foods, this is not the worst stop. Craving dumplings, I drove across town to try this place. I imagine some of the best dumplings I'll find in town. Massive dumplings for $9 for 6. Get the pork chive over the shrimp, pork, chive. More traditional flavor and the shrimp tends to overpower the familiar dumpling flavor of pork. I do wish they were a bit more charred on the bottom. Side of golden fried rice was massive. Well seasoned, strands of egg, a bit of tumeric for the color. Recommended. The dumpling sauce is quite good. Vinegar based, a bit sweet, but better than most sweet soy based sauces. Definitely get their house made chili oil and mix it with the sauce. Definitely skip the soup dumplings. I assume they're frozen. Thick gooey skin, basically no soup inside. They proudly announce that they make their own dumplings, noodles and buns, which is definitely a definitive positive. I called in a takeout order and the woman who answered the phone and took my order was friendly, helpful and professional. She gave me a lead time of about twenty minutes and I headed that way. Upon arrival, I was pleased with the overall layout and the service was still friendly as I received my food. The food is definitely solid and my experience was an overall positive one. As I said, this was a takeout order, but the service I at least received for takeout was very good. Their dumplings are handmade and should not be missed. The noodle dishes are also stellar. I had the steak and noodles and it was very good and something that I would definitely recommend. My lo mein wasn't the most flavorful, but to be fair, this probably wasn't the place to get that dish compared to their other menu options.
