Getting tired of eating the same things every night, since the options i the HD are pretty much limited to mexican fare, burgers or pizza, I thought to switch it out and try a chinese buffet. This one is $9.95 weekends and evenings which is ok I guess. They have a pretty big selection of asian, a bit of mexican and a bit of american food, seems everyone knows americans "need" french fries and chicken nuggets to be happy...yuck! They had good soups, everything fried was pretty good like egg rolls, won tons, dumplings... The dessert bar was pretty good, loved the donut holes, other things obviously not made in house, the brownies were still frozen... Service was nonexistent but they kept the buffet well stocked, hot and fresh. Of course you always leave feeling way too full, sick, guilty, but it was actually ok here and for that price you would only get one dish elsewhere. Yuck, really disappointed in this place. The quality of the food has gone way down. The orange chicken was not good really dry. There was no sweet and sour, every time I went to get food it was gone. They couldn't keep up with the number of people available to eat the food. It was Extremely HOT in the restaurant.. I even complained about it. It is the only Chinese buffet around, two or three decent items on the line, other than that is stuff my family does not really like. They don't mix things up much, they really should ad new items every now and than. I've lived in Hesperia for basically all my life, but for some reason I've never actually GONE in here. Seeing it was a buffet was a bit of a surprise, but the food was actually good. It was strange to see Menudo in a Chinese Restaurant, but it's a buffet. I've seen weirder buffet options before. Customer Service was honestly great. The staff really do a good job, and they really do care about doing their best to make sure nobody goes unnoticed. The prices are good, and the food also isn't half bad. I've been in and out a few times before writing this, and each time a few things like the Orange Chicken have tasted subtly different, even in different batches in the same day, so whoever is making it is definitely making it from scratch. Pretty much everything I've tried almost has a home-made taste to it. I say it's worth eating there at least once or twice to see if you like it. read more

For now I will give it a three star rating. However, I used to go there all the time when I lived in Hesperia, but now that I live in Apple Valley, I haven't gone, but I'm giving it a try. I used to love their food, and it seems that people on here have been disappointed, because had no clue what to expect from Chinese buffet.
