China Wok is right around the corner from me. It's everything I'd want in a strip mall Chinese restaurant. Fast friendly service, hot and delicious foods, and affordable. I don't know why China Wok isn't rated higher on here. I order from there probably twice a month and I've never been disappointed. It's exactly what you want and expect it to be. The steamed dumplings and wonton egg drop soup are staples for me. I try to rotate through entrees but I often end up resorting to the kung pao chicken. I've asked them about starting a rewards program for loyal customers such as myself, but there didn't seem to be much interest. That'd be my only complaint. read more

We have tried several places & China Wok is our go to place. Their food is tasty & always fresh. This is a store front shop with a few tables to dine in. It's located in a busy shopping center with plenty of parking available. The staff is not the friendliest but they do get the job done by delivering hot food,nice portion sizes & decent prices. We always call ahead & pick up our orders but they also offer delivery. Quick note: their garlic sauce is on spot. It is so tasty & the best one we have tried so far. Good and tasty as always. We ordered large Sesame chicken come with white rice, and chicken with broccoli with extra egg rolls. Have to order extra egg rolls. Ask for well done and eat it right away. I was really looking forward to this place because I love Chinese food, and I got very excited when I saw they have Mu Shu Pork. I didn't even look at the rest of the menu because that's my favorite. I ordered it, along with a bottle of Coke and handed over my credit card. I wish I could say I loved it, but that would be a lie. I don't know enough about Chinese cuisine to say what was wrong with it, but I do think they could put more meat in the dish. That might have helped. And the serving of sauce they give is pretty meager as well. Perhaps being a little more generous with that would have added to my experience. Whatever it was, I can honestly say it was the worst Mu Shu Pork I've ever had, and I've had quite a lot. I had initially planned on giving them a 3-star review, until I saw the receipt. According to their menu, the Mu Shu Pork is $8.95 and the Coke was $1.50. I think the Coke might have been slightly higher because it was a bottle and not a can but their menu doesn't specify. With sales tax, the meal would have been $11 and some change. I was charged $14.55. I don't know where the additional $3 came from. Apparently, this place just gives themselves an undeserved tip. Needless to say, I won't be back. The mediocre meal I could almost forgive but I don't appreciate a merchant stealing from me. read more

Dinnertime was rolling around, & I was feeling like Chinese food, so I looked up some nearby places & picked the first one that came up in the results. My food arrived hot and steamy in its box, as well as a complimentary vegetable egg roll. I had the Moo Goo Gai Pan for 2 $8.50 which was a adequate portion but not oversized. It had fresh veggies (snow peas, h20 chestnuts, carrots, onions, mushrooms) in a nice light garlic sauce. Me and my family have been buying from this fast food chinese restaurant for a long time now and we enjoy their food, mostly when asked to make it spicy. You can even ask to make dishes with less oil/sauce/more dry if you are trying to be more health conscious. However, BE AWARE they now have implemented a new policy that if you order over the phone and pay over the phone, and someone else comes to pick up your food without that card, they will write down your license number on their copy of the receipt. When asked if this was necessary, they say its policy. I understand they may ask to see photo ID, but to write down your personal information like that is a big NO and is sketchy. I actually believe in some states it is ILLEGAL. They could simply ask to call back the phone number the order was placed on to confirm. Even after he admitted he knew I was the daughter of my father who placed the order as we order on a regular basis, he still insisted he needed my info. This completely ruins any trust between your customers. We will be following up with our card company to report this as this is about the 2nd time this has happened to us read more

I ate here night before last. NEVER AGAIN!!!!!! All I ordered were fried dumplings. Took about 15 minutes to get my order. Got back to the hotel and upon opening the bag all I could smell was burnt noodle. While the dumplings are good sized, my order was only fried on the bottom and very burnt. I return them to the restaurant, explained my complaint and was told "they are pan fried and we only fry one side". I told him this was the first Chinese restaurant that I have been in that only fries one side. I asked for them to fried on all sides. He then took them to the deep fryer and dumped them in. I asked if they were going to fry the original order and was told yes, that I wouldn't be able to taste the burnt after deep frying!!! I said I would be able to taste deep fried burnt!!! The kitchen staff then got into a BIG argument over the order and it seemed as if every cook had to come over and "check" on them while cooking. ( I did after all get new dumplings). When they were done the guy shows them to me and asks snidley "is that how you want them?" I said yes thanked them again and left. I walked up and ordered from here. Was told about twenty minutes, so I went to Walmart to walk around. Came back and my food was ready. The food was hot. However, there was a bit of a shrimp taste to my general Tso. I have a feeling that the person prior to me may have ordered shrimp general Tso. All good, but probably shouldn't be cooking gen Tso chicken in the same place as your shrimp goes. May not be a good thing for those that may have a shell fish allergy. I also had the beef fried rice and that was very good. Put some of that chili sauce packet in there. It's damn spicy but that's a good thing. The egg roll I had was also very good.
