This was amazing food and I love the fact that it is so close to downtown West Palm, but still has a little parking lot right behind the restaurant for easy parking, and the side street can also be used for parking. The bathrooms are single occupancy and spacious. I loved the curry and I literally want to go back for whatever their appetizer was that was gluten free but deep fried and had like a vinegar sauce. Came here on a Friday night around 6pm. It was already pretty full, and by the time we left, people were waiting, so it might be a good idea to make a reservation ahead of time. We were in the area because we were going to the Norton Museum and wanted to fill up beforehand. It's a smaller place, but they have really cool lights that they put on every table, so the environment feels ambient and calming. We were seated right away, however it did take a while for someone to actually come to our table, but on the bright side we were able to figure out what we wanted to eat during that time and put all of our order in at once. We got the kimchi dumplings as an appetizer. I've never had a kimchi dumpling and it seemed very interesting to me because I love kimchi. However, when the dumplings came, the kimchi was grounded into a paste. So it didn't have that nice crunchy kimchi texture that I was expecting, and though a bit spicy, wasnt very flavorful. The dumpling skin was incredibly soft, way too soft, it was falling apart, you couldn't even pick it up. And they were sitting in a layer of water on the plate. Would never order this dish again. For entrees we got the vegetable fried rice without tofu, the panang curry, and the chicken pad thai. The vegetable fried rice was okay, there seemed to be way more vegetables than actual rice, though. And while they were cooked nicely, the pieces of vegetables were huge! Would've been nicer had they been bite size pieces so that you didnt need a knife to eat fried rice. The pad thai was pretty standard. Chicken was incredibly bland and could've used more bean sprouts for that little extra crunch. It did have edamame in it, which is a nice touch, I've never seen that added into a pad thai dish before. The panang curry, also decent, again, the vegetables were just way too huge and certainly needed to be more bite size. You should not need a knife to eat fried rice and curry. We then got the mango sticky rice which we didnt finish. The rice was a little too gummy, and salty. We were not checked on once during the duration of our meal. So had we needed something, we wouldn't have been able to get it without waving someone down. I didn't even bother to look at the prices on the menu before I ordered anything, because it doesn't really matter to me, if I want something I'm going to get it, but I was literally blown away when I saw the bill. Our meal came to $88.49. This is 100% West Palm Beach prices, because the food quality did not at all match what they were charging. Each entree was nearly $20. How is chicken pad thai the same price as vegetable fried rice? I legitimately cannot begin to understand why it was as packed as it was, maybe there aren't a lot of Thai places to choose from in West Palm? While the staff was friendly, although unattentive, I wouldn't recommend this restaurant. read more

Went on my work lunch break, around 12:30. Parking lot is small but I was able to find a spot. Restaurant was dark and quiet, even though it was busy. The menu is easy to navigate. The staff were friendly. I ordered my drink app and entree at once and they brought each item out quickly. I also ordered shrimp steamed dumplings, not pictured, which came in a set of 4 and I could have eaten 20 lol. We were looking for something to eat while in the area and found this spot close by. Situated right off Dixie, with no big signs in front (or back) to announce their presence but pretty decent food. We walked in, got greeted right away, sat down and started checking out the menu. It's a strange amalgamation of Asian food styles, with sushi apparently being the latest addition. Most prices are good, sushi is wildly overpriced. We started out with a couple of interesting sounding appetizers. - Crab Rangoon was woefully bereft of anything resembling crab (no taste, no smell, no sight) but full of... CORN? it was very yummy! Good, but should be called Corn Rangoon, and it was served with a thin sweet watery dipping sauce. - Fried Leek Dumplings were just okay , fried crispy, and served with soy sauce. For dinner the lovely Spensyr had a bowl of Chiangmai noodle soup with assorted meats, which was filling and a little on the spicy side; while I had 2 more appetizers. - Javanese chicken was served with a coconut curry sauce and a side of sweet cold noodles. - Thai fritters, which were tempura fried slices of cooked sweet potato and yam, accompanied by the same thin dipping sauce as the Rangoon. Hello all, So I've been craving noodles after trying filipino noodles from a church event and not being able to go back. We've been here a few times and I don't think we knew what to order or how to order the noodles. The trick is to ask the staff about the types of the noodles you wanna try. And make sure to ask what flavor profile you are after rather than orderng @hawk and burning your face off!!! So my wife ordered some seaweed salad, Korean beef and a sake which was tasty. I ordered the pork Shu MI appetizers and a glass noodle, shrimp with a light sesame soy based sauce which was AMAZING!!! I was very happy that I asked my server their opinion and tried to describe what I was after, she was able to steer me to a design ur own noodle dish. We went over it together and she was able to give me pointers and I ordered a glass noodle with light vegetable amd.amazing shrimp with her help. Had a great time and shared some cookies with the staff and the owner came out graciously offered us dessert The good, great ambiance clean with a warm feel and the food is amazing just make sure to ask and share with them what you are after you won't be disappointed... My boyfriend and I went about two weeks ago and really enjoyed our meal. The staff were very friendly upon arriving. We did not have a reservation but were easily accommodated with a table. We ordered the steam pork dumplings and the Rising Sun sushi roll as appetizers. The sushi roll was DELICIOUS! I could've had 3 more rolls. We also ordered the Spicy Sausage Fried Rice and the Spicy Sesame Noodle dishes as our main dishes- also both very good. It has a very casual feeling. I would recommend checking out the menu before you go.. The lighting is dim, so that made it difficult to read the menu and the menu is a little confusing with the build your own portion. It's numbered 1, 2 , 3 , 4 which makes it seem like you're ordering all 4 in steps, but it's actually choose your protein (1) then + (2 or 3 or 4). My in laws took quite a bit of time ordering because they were not familiar with the menu or the dishes. Ordered pork and kimchi dumplings and Javanese chicken to share with 4 people, and then I chose to build my own dish and enjoyed my chicken in lemongrass sauce with brown rice. I miss noodles and rice when I'm not back home so this was a lovely pot to order from. My friend ordered the pad thai chicken and she enjoyed is wholeheartedly, it was enough portion and wasn't at all greasy. I got the udon soup which was perfectly cooked with veggies and the miso was great, not too salty. Since our favorite Thai restaurant in Wellington closed a couple of years ago, I hadn't found any other Asian place that could replace them, until... we came here for lunch a couple of Saturdays ago! The restaurant is located on a main and very busy street, but you can't miss it due to its red painted exterior, which makes this building stand out. They have a private parking lot, but it's very small; same for their outdoor patio. They don't have a bar area inside, just a medium-sized dining room, which has a very peaceful ambience thanks to its Asian-style decorations and music in the background. The staff is very friendly, very knowledgeable and they are happy to explain to you any dish they offer. Their prices are very decent, above all considering the huge portions they serve. We shared dumplings for appetizer, then I had Thai Green Curry, while my husband ordered a soup: everything was delicious, it was so good that I ate the entire serving! (Normally with those kind of portions I bring home leftovers). You can tell that they use fresh ingredients and take a lot of care and pride in the preparation of the food. The only negative in my opinion is that they don't serve desserts: not that I would have had room, but I would have loved to try their version of Mango Sticky Rice. This is a very nice Asian restaurant on Dixie Hwy, near the Norton museum. Dimly lit, very nice décor and a very relaxing ambiance greet you as soon as you walk in. Service is attentive and nice, and the food is definitely among the best I tried in Palm Beach County among Asian eateries. We love to start with some dumplings (steamed) and then have an entrée. So far I tried the Japanese Udon noodles (got them with beef) and the Panang Curry (but also the Thai green curry and bean threads noodle). Everything tasted great. The Jap Udon noodles is a broth, similar to ramen and it's delicious; it's amazing how the miso broth has so much flavor. This dish is pretty much a meal in itself. I also loved the curries; I don't often order curries in Asian restaurants because they tend to overload them with coconut and make too creamy. These curries here they have the right balance among ingredients, and they are delicious. This is definitely a place we are going back to when in downtown area. read more
