The pick up was easy and the cashier was helpful and polite. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The restaurant looks basically the same except they turned the register and counter to face the door now.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] First time I had China station under new ownership, I was very disappointed that the wings recipe changed for worse. But this time, the wings were good and like 90% to how they good they used to be. The spicy garlic wings have a new redder look, still missing that intense garlic flavor and wasn't very spicy, but the crunch and the savory flavor are good. The regular garlic wings look like the original but it's not spicy at all and needs more garlic. The crunch on both of these flavors was awesome. Decent chicken wings and large pieces too! I got 60 wings, half original (which is just green onions and garlic) and half spicy garlic. If you order half half, one of the flavors must be original. The spicy was not very spicy but had a small kick. Garlic flavor is not super strong and a bit lacking. It's a bit pricey and I didn't realize that it would also come with drums, even though they said "wings". Staff was very accommodating with pick up time as I was 30 mins late to my original pick up time. They were able to hold it for me until I arrived. Had this local legend on my list for a while and finally had a chance to check it out last night. The salt and pepper chicken wings were incredible, and the house rice noodles were just fine. Service was very welcoming and friendly, with the staff even offering to text me when my order was ready. I don't generally get this more heavily battered style of chicken wings (I like them lightly dredged/seasoned/floured, fried, then sauced and seasoned), but when I do, I'll be back for the even more popular garlic wings. Had to give China station another try after the disastrous visit I had when they reopened a few years ago. Happy to say the garlic fried chicken is back to how it used to taste! Crispy, garlicky and not too oily. Very good! I usually only order the fried chicken but this time I decided to try the Singapore noodles. Three stars for the food, one additional star for China Station's good customer service. Coming to China Station was a no-brainer. The gal over the phone was so nice and thorough while the other business was the complete opposite. The phone call to the other business felt rushed as if I was bothering the gentleman by calling. Food: I must note that the tray of chicken wings was pretty deceiving. My order was presented with all flats on the top while the bottom was completely full of drumettes. No big deal right?? Except the fact that the drumettes ended up being dry and lightweight overcooked. Flavoring wasn't anything special but kudos to the wings being able to stay crispy even as time continued to pass. Again, 3 stars for the garlic fried wings. I think the dish needed more garlic flavoring as opposed to just tasting like plain deep fried wings with fried garlic bits sprinkled on top. Overall 4 star rating for the entire experience. I may pass on ordering wings again but there are plenty of other items that caught my eyes. China Station has reopened! After a pretty long stint of being closed, they've opened their doors to welcome new and returning customers. During this soft reopening, they're taking in feedback and evaluating how to best serve their customers. Come try! The long awaited visit to China Station has finally come but it is only after they've supposedly changed ownership. We have heard great things about their food, namely their infamous crispy chicken. And as a first time visitor, that's exactly what we got. There was definitely a sticker shock ($14 for 7 pieces) but we figured it was still worth a try. The pieces were medium sized, breaded lightly, and were freshly made to order. We placed an order for the non-spicy, garlic one as well as a separate one for the spicy, chili powder covered variation. The chicken definitely lived up to the hype. The texture was amazingly crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside. The chicken was fried throughly so that even the cartilage was soft enough to crunch through. The seasoning and flavoring was great - not too salty but the non-spicy was accentuated from the fried garlic that topped it and the spicy one had just enough chili powder to tickle your senses but not linger too long and overpower your palate. But at two bucks a piece, it's too steep for a frequent buy but perhaps a guilty pleasure every blue moon or so. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The shop is located in a tiny, inconspicuous mall shared by other amazing mom and pop shops serving authentic ethnic cuisine.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] They do have a dedicated parking lot that is rarely occupied and it's conveniently located near the highway so it's a nice place to come pick up your meal before heading home or to your next potluck event. [[HIGHLIGHT]]For those with children, it's also located near a public park so you could perhaps considering including some Chinese food into your busy schedule.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Overall, my first impression of China Station was a good one and I look forward to coming back to try their other dishes. The prices may need to be evaluated to stay competitive with similar restaurants nearby. Otherwise as long as the food quality stays consistent and they continue upholding their great reputation while establishing new customers, China Station will do great and can serve their customers for years to come. read more

Our cousin served food at a get-together from this restaurant last year and everyone raved about how good it was! Sooo yummyyy! Since then, this has been the go-to Chinese restaurant for my family. :) We always order the chicken fried rice, the chicken chow mein, mushroom chicken and orange chicken...and now and then, their salt and pepper pork chop and won ton soup. The only tinyyyy thing is that their deep fried food like the orange chicken and pork chop dish are a bit too dry for me...nonetheless I still keep ordering them because flavors for every dish are just delicious! The crispy garlic chicken still hits. It has the perfect amount of crunch but I will say it's not as garlic-y as it used to be. The chicken pieces are fat so I did like that. Second time back since the soft opening which is saying something right? The first couple days it was cash only as they worked out the kinks. Today they accepted credit card. The fried chicken now has two options the garlic fried wings or the spicy fried wings.. the original owners has sold the restaurant as well as the recipes so the recipe is the same... the chicken however is close... but not quite the same. Maybe with time it will get closer to how the original tasted.. at least that is the hope. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The inside is more or less the same, there is now a cashier counter and prices have inflated with current times.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The a la carte fried wings for 7 pieces is $12.95 and a 20+ minute wait for them to cook. Phone number is still the same if you want to just call it in for pickup. The first time we came the spicy and the garlic were virtually the same except one had jalapeños. The second time we ordered the spicy had a red hue and the spice on it tasted like the spice most boba shops used on popcorn chicken (see pictures). The second time the crunch was better and more similar to the original China station recipe. We'll see with time if it ever gets back to the original taste. read more

Can be a hit or miss. I thought it was okay. Parents didn't enjoy it due to the thick batter. Chicken chow mein and beef chow fun wasn't great. The dark meat chicken tasted very dry. Both noodles didn't have much flavor. Both used celery, cabbage and carrots for vegetables. Im usually used to bean sprouts, onions, and scallions. My opinion can be off since I did drive an hour home. Noodles were okay as next day leftovers. Pricing is very affordable and portions are generous. Food is average. read more

Located off Fremont Blvd, lake mead street. It's a small older run down business complex with liquor store, nail shop & few other restaurants. First time even going into this complex as would always drive by but never stopped in. Was hearing a great deal about the garlic wings here so decided to stop by. Called in order, was told about 15 minutes. Waited in parking lot before walking in. Empty due to shelter in place but also no employee to be seen, said Hello a few times loudly & can hear someone cooking in back. After what seemed like over 5minutes, a female came from restroom. Every time there's a party, this is one of my go to spots! Their spicy garlic fried chicken is all that you need to be an instant crowd pleaser. It's so incredibly crunchy and the garlicky flavor is unforgettable without being overly pungent. Upon first bite, you'll know this is FIRE! There's no other place that makes fried wings like this.
