Had food delivered which arrived within 45 mins. This place is pricey but it is large portions. I had to reduce what I choose to keep it under $100. Noodles were thick and oily. Rice had some hard portions in it . Orange chicken wasn't to bad but not good after it warmed down . Not worth the price.

Hit or miss, first time we had the biggest most amazing shrimp this time we got maybe $4 worth of shrimp. Sad plate will lot order again

Great food as always. I've been going to them since they were on Smith Street in Union City.

Our bill which should add up to $57.40 for the subtotal but they sneakily put $64.32

They've gone a little downhill. Food is still good but we used to always order for delivery since they had one of the most fast and reliable delivery services but they've stopped offering delivery in the past year or so. Worst part is (as many others have mentioned) it looks like they're very sketchy about their charges. Last time we ate in the restaurant and received our bill which looked correct with 4 items on it but when we added up the prices ourselves, it came out to less than the price they wrote on the bill. We brought this to their attention and they insisted it wasn't a mistake and that the added cost was for tip but it was VERY clear that they were just trying to up the total without us noticing, especially since it wasn't noted as a tip and our party shouldn't have been charged for automatic tip. I may still keep eating here but I definitely wouldn't trust them with the charges, especially when they refused to take accountability for it which tells me it was intentional and something they probably do often.

Love Dragon House, ordered catering for my daughter's birthday and service was great when ordering and picking up. The prices are good and they really pack in the food in those trays! Everything was very fresh and hot, and the sweet workers helped me bring my order to my car. Delicious fresh chinese food

PARTICULAR ITEMS When I go to restaurants that have the same cuisine I try to order different items. Especially if the items are not served at other restaurants. One day I came to Dragon House for lunch because one of the items on lunch menu stood out - beef with mushrooms. Mushrooms have an umami taste. The combination of mushrooms and beef results in a filling dish. I really enjoyed this dish for lunch. The beef with mushrooms dish was promising start. Almost a week later I came here for dinner specifically to order the fried flounder, which not listed in the lunch menu. The breading has a light crust, yet I wished it was crunchier. Anytime a whole meat is deep fried you worry if the meat was overcooked. The meat from the flounder wasn't dry but moist. However I wish the sauce for fried flounder was thicker. Curry is not what you associate with Chinese food, but I came back to Dragon House a couple of weeks later for that reason. For lunch I ordered the chicken curry. I don't believe should be drenched in sauce, but I also believe you should taste the flavor of the sauce. The chicken dish had a very light curry sauce however I couldn't taste the curry. My first time eating at the Dragon House I was very pleased. The other two times the dishes were satisfactory. The items I had were tasty, but I expected more yet ended up as ok.

This is not what the fried shrimp should look like, I was given what appears to be the tempura shrimp from Costco. Highly disappointed.

Quick service, foods good to so-so, would be back here for more. The soup was good, a little spicy, the walnut prawns were a little portion.

They have plenty of seating, but I'd recommend joining the waitlist ahead of time if you're coming during peak lunch hours. The quality of their XLB is really good. I'd say they're on par with Din Tai Fung in terms of flavor and juiciness, but the dumplings here are bigger. We usually go for the pork and crab XLB, which are flavorful, juicy, and explode in your mouth with soup. I also tried the pork belly burger this time. The pork belly itself was good, but it didn't really stand out to me and probably isn't something I'd order again when there are so many other things to get. Service is decent and gets the job done. Nothing particularly memorable, but our needs were taken care of, and I appreciated that they consistently kept my water filled. Overall, solid place for XLB

Several months ago, I visited Fong Kee Clay Pot with a different friend who gave it rave reviews. The food isn't gross, but it's something I can make myself. Cook some meat and rice, and throw it in a clay pot. Although I didn't want to come here, the rest of my friends were excited to try this place. I kept my mouth shut and didn't express my opinion. Maybe I should have spoken up because everyone was underwhelmed by what we ordered. My food was bland and needed more flavor, but I wasn't sure what to add to make it more flavorful. What I shared with my husband: Preserved egg and chicken porridge with a Chinese donut Chinese sausage w/ salted fish I was disappointed by the amount of salted fish in my bowl. I found a few sheer pieces of basically nonexistent fish in my fish. It takes less than two dollars to make this dish, so I have no idea why a bowl of rice costs $17. I love preserved egg and chicken porridge, but this one lacked sodium and preserved duck egg flavor. My guess is that they made plain porridge and dumped chicken and preserved egg into it instead of cooking it on a slow simmer. My friend had to send her dish back because she found a hair in her food. Cons: Bland dishes Expensive dishes for what you actually get Pros: Prompt and good service for a party of 7. The next time a friend suggests Clay Pot, I will suggest a better alternative and spare us disappointment.

You get served a huge bowl for $16.45. Lots of noodles, meats, shrimps and dumplings. The broth is seasoned just right. The first time I came here, I ordered the Salt 'n Pepper Prawns in-shell. It was made with rough salt and chili peppers. Prawns aren't breaded, they're fried in the shell. That's the way I like it prepared. The first time I came, service was great. The waitress was nice and we talked about old school chinese food. The second time I had lunch, it was around 12-noon and the place was busy. The same waitress was there, and she remembered my order from last time. Overall, I had a nice experience. It's good to see these restaurants still exist, and are still popular. While I still order here for take out on several occasions, I no longer want to dine in because of the male server who works there (never noticed him working there before but he's been there consistently these past few years). Our first interaction with him he seemed nice and friendly but we quickly realized he's a little too chatty and some of the comments he would make started to make us uncomfortable (talking about our work and money etc). After him being our server a few more times we just stopped dining in because it just felt like he wouldn't stop talking to us and making awkward comments. One time I picked up a to go order and he made a rude comment about not tipping (umm I'm taking my food to go what service have you provided that I need to tip for especially when you're being rude?). The icing on the cake is when I ordered an item I always get and when we got home and ate it it was SUPER salty. We order it all the time so we knew this batch wasn't right and I called and asked if I could bring it back and have a new one made without the sauce. When I brought it back the other ladies and even the other males from the kitchen were all apologetic but the one same guy tried to insist to me that it's not salty. You think I'm gonna waste my time driving back there if it wasn't salty? I told him he could taste it if he wanted to (not expecting him to actually eat from our food that we had already tasted) and what does he do? HE GRABS A PIECE WITH HIS FINGERS AND EATS IT. and then proceeds to tell me it's not salty. Who does that? I just couldn't believe it. Anyways, the kind ladies and kitchen staff quickly made me a new batch and again apologized. On top of all that, the prices have gone up big time. Ordering from there is more out of convenience because of their location and yes their food is good, but honestly that guy had brought it downhill for us.

When I arrived to pick up my order, the woman working there was extremely rude and her customer service was terrible. I politely asked for some hot sauce, and in front of everyone she responded, "Your soup is already spicy. You want more hot sauce?" I explained that the wonton soup wasn't spicy and I wanted hot sauce for that. She then told me that the hot sauce is only for people who order dumplings, which was honestly ridiculous and came across as extremely cheap. She eventually handed me two tiny containers of hot sauce with an attitude. When I got home, I opened the beef noodle soup and there were literally only three tiny pieces of beef in the entire order. I called the restaurant to ask about it, and instead of trying to resolve the issue, she became even more rude. She told me, "How many pieces do you expect me to put in there? You got a good deal, buy one get one free." She then said her boss told her to only put three pieces of beef in the soup and that the soup they make is "not just for you." The fact that I received a promotion through DoorDash should not mean the quality or portion of my food should be reduced. If you're offering a buy-one-get-one-free promotion, customers should still receive a proper order. Between the horrible customer service, extremely small portions, poor-tasting food, dirty-looking restaurant, and unpleasant atmosphere, I will never come back here again and would not recommend this place to anyone.
