The food was good, we had mushroom tofu, it's great, the tofu was soft and delicious We also ordered the dry pot ribs, it's really tasty. There's two waitress, one impatient and sour face, another one was warm and friendly.

The dishes that we ordered were Ok. It was slow when we were there. I would come back to try other dishes that they have.

I went to this restaurant for a meal, and there was a small fly in my water glass. I told the male waiter, and he immediately took the glass away, preventing me from having any evidence. He didn't offer any apology or explanation. I had already drunk some of the water with the fly in it, which I found disgusting. Later, I asked the waiter for an explanation. He was very flippant about the whole thing, not taking it seriously at all. He initially offered a discount, but when he gave me the bill, he only removed the price of one dish. This didn't match what he had said. Although his attitude wasn't good, I still gave him a $10 cash tip. I didn't give a tip on my credit card. However, he secretly charged me an additional $10 tip on my credit card. This is credit card fraud. This is very upsetting.

Got fried rice, pot stickers, and egg rolls. All were terrible. Egg rolls tasted like they were previously frozen. Fried rice was bland. And pot stickers were stale and hard. We couldn't barely even bite into them. Do not recommend. Spent 70$ on all of this.

So I honestly don't know why this place is not rated way higher, because it's probably my favorite Chinese restaurant in the whole Bay, especially if you like frog legs. Every single person that I've taken here too has loved it, so I certainly don't think it's just me. The service can be hit or miss admittedly, but if it's the old lady serving then she never misses a beat. I've probably been to this place over 50 times within the past few years, with the most recent being last week. So along with writing more reviews of places I go this year, I feel like this one needs to be done justice. The local kinda sucks; it's a bit off the main highway and a little hard to find. It's never really packed, and during my first visit it seemed a little sus. They're one of the few restaurants to offer frog legs (specifically the dry pot spicy frog), so I tried that out first. It did not disappoint. This place has hands down the best frog legs and hot and sour soup in the Bay. My most recent trip we had the veggies, the frog legs, and hot/sour soup again, but I've also had the beef tendon, kung pao chicken, hot/sour fish, and others here too. Every single item we've ordered here has tasted authentic and great. The prices are quite reasonable too, especially for how good it is. Their lunch special is one of the best deals in the area. The food and value is so good here I can forgive the ambiance and sometimes inconsistent service and still give it 5 stars.

This is one of my favorite restaurants. The food and and the service is terrific. The beef tendon is a cold dish with lots of chili and Sichuan peppercorns for a tongue numbing and palate changing experience that I love with Sichuan spicy cuisine. The pork belly (on the menu as pork beely) is melt in your mouth. And the beef with broccoli was a really lovely cumin spicing I loved. This restaurant has the big tables you need for a real party with a Lazy Susan and while it is not bad,it is a little run down, but is at least well maintained.

Ordered takeout from here and was really impressed with the portion size and the taste! The mapo tofu was super silky and while I think the chow mein could have a little bit more sauce (started clumping together), it was a huge portion and had a lot of chicken pieces in it.

My family loves spicy food, and my mom also was told by her friend that this spot serves complimentary soy milk and 油條 (Chinese fried donut) on weekends, so Little Sichuan was immediately bumped up our queue of places to try. But, when we arrived, it seemed like there was only complimentary soy milk, and there wasn't mention of complimentary 油條 in Yelp reviews for nearly a decade. That said, you can still order it a la carte, which is what we did. Personally thought it was a little greasy but my mom was a fan, so that's all that matters in the end. Now, as far as the rest of the food goes - we ordered the boiled fish, cold sichuan noodles, husband and wife lung slices, and spicy chicken wings. The cold noodles were topped with a couple spoonfuls of their fragrant and addictive chili oil, refreshing sliced cucumber, and the protein of your choice (ground pork or shredded chicken). In case you needed even more of that chili oil goodness (which we did), it's also available table side. The husband and wife lung slices (which is usually beef shank and tripe in a spicy sauce) and the boiled fish in chili oil were the epitome of 下飯, which just means they're perfect for downing several bowls of rice. Service and ambiance here are just ok, which I think is the root of most of the negative reviews, but it didn't bother us much. All in all, a nice new Sichuan place for our family, and while I needed a nap afterward from the chili oil and multiple bowls of rice, I thought the food was good and would come back.

Authentic Sichuan food in Fremont? Yes! Fist time here, the staff was attentive, and the food came fast. The husband and wife slices was so good! The waxed meat when shallots was smoky salty and amazing. The pork belly slices was garlic was really good. The string beans were done well. And the fish was shockingly good. We will eat here again, for sure.

    Shredded potatoes. Also wonderful.

This is Ms Squirrel and my favorite spicy Chinese place. We usually go here for our anniversary. We love their food. It is amazing how much flavor they pack into each fiery bite. Although the staff is wonderful (the owner even remembers to ask about our dog, even though we only go there once every year at most). However, it is the foods flavor that drew us to love this restaurant. Our relationship with their food is simply a passionate affair between our tongues and a tempest, where flavors weave a tapestry of heat and harmony, whispering secrets of distant, exotic ecstasy. Order the schezuan style spicy food, that is what they specialize in.

Definitely a hole in the wall which I don't mind. What I do hate is getting to go food thats totally wrong..., especially when I'm on the road and at a hotel. In this case once I got back to my room restaurant was closed. Uggghhhh pay attention people!!!!

Food favorites: dan dan noodle, beef stew noodle soup, spicy beef tripe - ive been coming here for at least the last decade and religiously order these every time!! The noodles are super fresh and reasonably priced Service: super quick especially considering it can get really busy when tour buses stop by Vibes: homey, authentic Chinese spot, can get busy and chaotic but food is consistent

The portions were good for the price and you get plenty of food. I don't know the weight, but definitely was filling and I typically get 1.8 pounds at other malatang shops which can cost more. They had all the typical options of beef, lamb, spam, sausage, bok choy, Napa, etc. They loaded mine with tons of cabbage which was nice. Stocked with garlic, cilantro, soy, vinegar, oyster sauce, chilli powder, etc. It was very clean and spacious inside. Chicken was fried well and not dry at all which was a lovely experience. Fish was also flavorful and enjoyable to eat, although perhaps the least memorable of the dishes. The service was quick and attentive, and the restaurant itself was nicely decorated. The best thing we ordered was the Sizzling Yellow Croaker with Fried Garlics (9/10). The fish was super crispy, and the sweet, garlicky skin was incredibly addictive. I would 100% order this every time I come back. We also had the Shredded Cabbage with Sliced Pork (8/10), which was nice and tangy. The cabbage soaked up all the sauce, making every bite packed with flavor, while the pork provided a great contrast to the vegetables. The House Special Fried Rice with Pickle & Beef (7/10) wasn't anything extraordinary, but it served as a great base alongside the other dishes. The pickles were an interesting addition, as I've never had fried rice prepared that way before, but I definitely enjoyed it. Finally, we decided to try the House Special Spicy Frog in Stone Pot (6.5/10) since most of us had never had frog before. The flavor was outstanding, with a great umami depth and just the right amount of spice. The frog itself was a little difficult to eat because of the large number of bones, but the meat was tender and juicy. Replacing the frog with another protein probably would have made it more favorable, but I still enjoyed trying something new and didn't regret ordering it. Overall, Ping's Bistro is a great spot for outstanding Chinese food. Every dish we tried was enjoyable, and there are still so many items on the menu I'd love to come back and explore. Though I prefer my food a little bit more flavorful, Ping's Bistro really shot every single flavor up. The Steamed pork belly with preserved vegetables was served first, and without a doubt, is one of the spiciest. It's a good size for sharing, but the preserved vegetables on the bottom was mushy and came in a very small portion. Though supposed to be a part of the dish, seemed to be thrown in just for some extra flavor. Though I selected mild spiciness for the Spicy Boiled Fish, it was still REALLY spicy. Maybe it's my spice intolerance, but this dish lights a fire in your mouth. Also, this dish is mala, so it numbs your mouth. Some people may enjoy this sensation, but it's a pass for me. The fish was really soft and tender though. The fish was my favorite part of the Spicy Boiled Fish. Not only there is fish underneath, it was surprising to see other ingredients like lotus, vermicelli noodles, and much more. The salted egg covered pork was extremely salty and oily. I was surprised to know it was boneless, and I felt like the salted egg crust is too thin, which let the taste of the pork overthrow any type of salted egg taste. The Country Style Sautéed Pork with Eggs and Black Fungus was again one of my preferred dishes, though it was extremely oily. I really liked the egg, black fungus, and bell peppers in this dish. The eggs and black fungus were soaked with flavor and the bell peppers balanced out the heaviness. The pork was also alright, but more on the tougher side. If you were to come to Ping's Bistro, I would advise you to order the Country Style Sautéed Pork with Eggs and Black Fungus. The floors were really sticky, but other than that, everything was alright. The water was poured messily, but I guess it's no big thing. The staff were really quiet and avoided interaction. When they serve your dish, they never wait an extra second before they leave for any questions or requests. They just drop the dish and zoom away. From my review, just remember: saltiness. I'm not convinced that I'll come back again, but I'm glad I tried it out.

We started with the One Piece Mixed Salad (tofu skin, vermicelli noodles, woodear mushrooms, carrots, celery, seaweed, and peanuts, all mixed in a savory, acidic, and spicy dressed ) and the Shredded Potato Salad, both of which made for nice appetizers. We also had the Cold Skin Noodles (Liangpi), a bowl of wide, chewy noodles mixed with a savory sauce and topped with tofu puffs, shredded cucumber , bean sprouts, and a creamy sesame sauce. Hailing from Xi'an, the Braised Pork Pita Burger was fatty pieces of pork braised in a savory sauce, served in a dry round of "pita," but even better was the Spicy Cumin Lamb Pita Burger, which contained a tantalizingly spicy, flavorful filling of tender spiced lamb. The Signature Beef Bone Noodle Soup came with noodles in a simple broth, topped with three bone-in beef ribs. The meat on the ribs was rather tough and sinewy, and the soup on the bland side, but the presentation of the dish was definitely impressive. Finally, the House Special Braised Dry Noodle was a bowl of noodles topped with a savory sauce with lots of different dried ingredients including tofu, s mushrooms, shiitake mushrooms, and red bell peppers. There seems to have some menu change since the last time we came. We ordered 2 dry noodles and a cold spicy pig ears appetizer. The pig ears were piled up with no fillers - something hard to find these days. You can select the type of noodles so I picked the widest while my husband picked the middle one. I love the el dente texture of the noodles giving it a bit of chew. My braised pork belly dry noodles was not dry... very watery which was not to my liking. I want my dry noodles with as little gravy as possible. The flavor was light despite all the gravy, but the veggies and one egg made it up. The house special dry noodles had just the right amount of gravy for taste but not enough ingredients. I was wondering why the restaurant is called One Piece... I guess the entire bowl of noodles is one piece noodle as it was hard to eat as all the noodles are tangled. No complaints here just need to be careful with the splashes on your shirt. Overall the food was good, service was decent as we were offered actual menu instead of only using QR code to order. The place was not small with plenty of table.
