Taiwanese girl approved - although this is not classic Taiwanese style beef noodle soup, I love this version as well. I was the only person in here not speaking Mandarin (with a Beijing accent) to the staff or with my party. Especially appreciated the attention to detail in the execution of the dishes and service, such as the crunchy toasted peanuts in the soup, the cucumber infused water, and the fine chop on the green onions for garnish. Beef stew was very tender, the noodles had the perfect firmness/texture, and the staff kindly warned me that their spice levels were more intense than the average beef noodle soup establishment.

OVERALL: 5 stars due to 1) all the napkins and utensils are on the table 2) attentive, very courteous service and 3) before even sitting down, they greet you and immediately tells you a gist of their menu plus warnings of their numbing/spice level. ***order FIRM noodles if you want soup based because as the noodles soak the soup, the noodles are so soft*** FOOD: I love how their appetizer with the braised meat even has cucumbers and celery...not just a bunch of cilantro! For the noodles...We ordered mild but it was still numbing. Reasonable price point. SERVICE: We did a last minute change and they were so kind about it. Provided bibs to help protect your clothes :). VIBEZ: Love the modern and clearly very thoughtful decor. Felt intimate. Casual. Great for large groups as it's quieter than other establishments. Located in the previously 168 market plaza. Private parking lot. Would I come back? Yes!

This was a super unexpected but pleasant find thanks to Yelp! We were looking for a noodle spot in the area and this came up as first recommendation. It was also one of the noodle shops that didn't close for partial day to re-open again, so that was a huge plus. It's a pretty small shop that has tables for at most 4-5 people in a party, but can fill up fast. There is high top seating by the doors but with people there, it makes the entryway appear smaller. Upon being seated, the waitress asked if it was our first time here, so which she said yes, and gave us the run through with their spice level, which helped a lot in deciding what spice we want because their spice level is a little bit higher than most places, was what she said. I enjoyed the texture of the noodles, though I would have preferred to try them firm. But it was delicious as is! The meat was also very tender in both the braised beef and beef stew and the broth packed so much flavor. She checked in on us regularly to ask us how everything is tasting and if the broth was too salty or not salty enough. To us, it was perfect. I made the mistake of ordering extra noodles to share with the kiddos but even with normal portioning, it was a hefty bowl and I could have done without it. With leftovers, she helped me pack it into a container before handling it back to me with a bag. Perfect spot for a quick lunch!

Came with some friends who love Julie's Noodles. It's a cute decent size noodle shop, they have some high bar style seating tables and some low/regular table seating. They have a QR code on the table to order. I tried the special oxtail noodle soup that they only offer on the weekends. It was good but the oxtail meat was a little too chewy for me, I give it an 7/10. The flavor of the soup and texture of the noodles were good. I like how you can pick the noodle type and how you like it cooked. Also tried the chili oil wontons, those were delicious, I given them a 9/10.

Yummy noodles! We got the Mala beef stew noodles and the house signature beef stew noodles - they tasted a bit different and were both good. You can customize the spice level, type of noodles and the noodle doneness. I really enjoyed the rice noodles which had the perfect chewiness. My partner liked his regular noodles as well. The pig ears were good but too much cucumber/cilantro and on the spicier side. Service was nice, friendly, and attentive. The staff we interacted with (I believe she was one of the owners) was very helpful when we had questions about the menu. Restaurant felt cozy and located in the corner of the plaza. Overall I really enjoyed my experience and would love to come back and try other dishes. Recommended!

I would highly recommend Julie's Noodle for a a delicious and comfortable place for noodle soup. The noodles had great flavor, mixed with chili oil, garlic, and Sichuan peppercorns. The heat built slowly, leaving that signature numbing tingle without overpowering the taste. Sadly, portion was actually way too much for me, but feel free to take to go or ask them to make a smaller portion. I made sure to let the servers know that the amount of leftovers was definitely not for lack of flavor!! They were incredibly kind and the amount of meat in the dish was generous. The restaurant is on the smaller side, but generally doesn't take long to get seated. Parking is plenty as it's located in a large plaza. I would definitely return when I'm craving noodle soup!

The highly recommended 招牌牛肉面Signature Beef Stew Noodles are truly delicious! I loved this. With incredibly tender beef chunks, the soup was full of flavor and not too oily. The broth is quite beefy and hearty. Even ordering it non-spicy was great, but I appreciated the waitress letting us know their spice levels are stronger than others. For noodles, I got the rice noodles! So chewy in texture. So good! They are generous with their portions and everything tasted fresh. I'll definitely be back!

Wow, I was not expecting to be blown away by Julie's the way I was! Let me start off by saying this was a random choice after a girls day out activity, and our group wanting something quick, filling and comforting--so noodles, duh. I opted for the braised beef noodle soup (least spicy for my first time) and chili oil wontons. The food came out promptly and the portion was way bigger than I thought! The braised beef noodle soup was perfection: tender, melt in your mouth braised beef, delicious broth packed with aromatics and flavor, and the noodles . Bonus: you get to pick your noodle firmness! I opted for firm, and they had a nice bite to it without feeling undercooked. But the real star of the show was the chili wonton dish. Wow--dare I say I like these 2x more than the chili dumplings at Din Tai Fung? Flavor wise and portion wise, I think so. The ratio of wonton wrapper to the meat was perfect and it was served at the perfect temperature and amount of mouth-watering sauce. I will certainly come back for a repeat of this surprisingly delicious noodle joint.

Got a take out order from this place during lunch hour rush. The order was done by phone, the staff was friendly and patient as she placed my order. Upon arrival to my pickup, I was informed that the braised egg was not available so she took it out of my order. Well packed noodles and soup separately!!! The portion of the noodles was great!!! Beef texture was just perfect, melted in your mouth. The numbing spice was mild but got a nice kick to it! Lots of cilantro and scallions which I love!! I think overall, the flavor and portion both exceeded my expectations! This is my first visit and will definitely would got back to try some more food!!! The restaurant looks cozy with lots of little 4 seaters tables. Location wise, it's hidden in the back of left side of the plaza.

I got the signature beef stew noodles which was amazing. I love that you can customize the noodles and firmness. The waitress said their noodle soups are spicier than others' and suggested that I get mild, which was just the right level. It came with cabbage to balance out the whole dish. I was super full after! The staff is very nice and offered us bibs and a handbag hook.

Cute little noodle shop. I love that they provide bibs! I definitely need it. We got the signature beef stew noodles. They customize the noodles, firmness and spice level. The soup noodles were delicious! There is really pride in their food and you can taste it!

Julie's Noodle is tucked away in deep Fremont, and it feels like one of those spots you're lucky to stumble into. The ladies who work there are genuinely super nice. They check in on you, make sure you're good, and they'll happily guide you on what to order, with solid suggestions and little tips that make the whole experience even better. I ordered the mala braised beef and it was really good. Great flavor, satisfying heat, and the beef was incredibly tender. My boyfriend went with a non spicy option and his was really good too, so it's not just a place for spice lovers. The meat in general is cooked really well, and I loved the chewiness of the noodles, in the best way. I want to try to come earlier to ge their beef rib next time :)

If you pay cash you get a discount. Me and my bf came here for dinner and we enjoyed it a lot. Service is good - they bring you a plastic apron to wear so you don't get your clothes dirty. They have a spicy scale rating and let you know ahead of time that their food is already more on the spicy side. The noodles were definitely a good amount of spicy and I did medium while my bf did spicy. Both were tolerable to me so next time I think I'll go with spicy. Portions were huge. I had a lot of noodles left over and they helped me pack it up. Definitely would come back soon if I'm in the area

We started with the One Piece Mixed Salad (tofu skin, vermicelli noodles, woodear mushrooms, carrots, celery, seaweed, and peanuts, all mixed in a savory, acidic, and spicy dressed ) and the Shredded Potato Salad, both of which made for nice appetizers. We also had the Cold Skin Noodles (Liangpi), a bowl of wide, chewy noodles mixed with a savory sauce and topped with tofu puffs, shredded cucumber , bean sprouts, and a creamy sesame sauce. Hailing from Xi'an, the Braised Pork Pita Burger was fatty pieces of pork braised in a savory sauce, served in a dry round of "pita," but even better was the Spicy Cumin Lamb Pita Burger, which contained a tantalizingly spicy, flavorful filling of tender spiced lamb. The Signature Beef Bone Noodle Soup came with noodles in a simple broth, topped with three bone-in beef ribs. The meat on the ribs was rather tough and sinewy, and the soup on the bland side, but the presentation of the dish was definitely impressive. Finally, the House Special Braised Dry Noodle was a bowl of noodles topped with a savory sauce with lots of different dried ingredients including tofu, s mushrooms, shiitake mushrooms, and red bell peppers. For each noodle dish, you could select from a variety of noodles, but my favorite by far was the 2cm "General Wide" noodles, which had an amazing chewy texture. Overall, this was a great restaurant for authentic Northern Chinese noodle dishes and other eats. Everything came out from the kitchen in just minutes after we ordered. The tasty dishes came at a good value, and the service was super friendly too!

There seems to have some menu change since the last time we came. We ordered 2 dry noodles and a cold spicy pig ears appetizer. The pig ears were piled up with no fillers - something hard to find these days. You can select the type of noodles so I picked the widest while my husband picked the middle one. I love the el dente texture of the noodles giving it a bit of chew. My braised pork belly dry noodles was not dry... very watery which was not to my liking. I want my dry noodles with as little gravy as possible. The flavor was light despite all the gravy, but the veggies and one egg made it up. The house special dry noodles had just the right amount of gravy for taste but not enough ingredients. I was wondering why the restaurant is called One Piece... I guess the entire bowl of noodles is one piece noodle as it was hard to eat as all the noodles are tangled. No complaints here just need to be careful with the splashes on your shirt. Overall the food was good, service was decent as we were offered actual menu instead of only using QR code to order. The place was not small with plenty of table. A bit noise as with all Chinese restaurants.

The hot and sour dry noodles came with their signature 5-grain noodles, shredded cucumber, half an egg, cilantro and peanuts. The seasoning was sweet and sour with a kick. Honestly it tastes like a kind of instant Korean cold noodles I always eat in summer. The takoyaki of octopus balls are a type of Japanese snack I think, and it is very popular in the Asian countries as night market food. I actually had never tried it so I really could not compare. They are deep fried balls of what tasted like mashed potatoes wrapped Octopus tentacles . Topped with shaved bonitos. Tasked okay... The hot and sour sauerkraut noodles with snakehead fish was really good... if you like Chinese pickled cabbage. The soup base was not red at all so it gives a false sense that it was not spicy. It actually had a nice kick, but not the chilly hot kick, but the green peppercorn numbing sense of burn. The soup was very flavorful and the fish slices were good. I don't know what is snakehead fish but it tasted like flounder but firmer. There were pieces of both regular tofu and fried tofu, as well as a couple of quail eggs. The decoration was simple with cute fish lights dangling from the ceiling and display if the noodles from different grains. The service was decent and they kept on checking if we needed more water and additional utensils. We will most likely come back to sample other noodles.
