One Piece Lamian specializes in Chinese noodle dishes, all with an efficient QR code ordering system and super quick service. We started with the One Piece Mixed Salad (tofu skin, vermicelli noodles, woodear mushrooms, carrots, celery, seaweed, and peanuts, all mixed in a savory, acidic, and spicy dressed ) and the Shredded Potato Salad, both of which made for nice appetizers. We also had the Cold Skin Noodles (Liangpi), a bowl of wide, chewy noodles mixed with a savory sauce and topped with tofu puffs, shredded cucumber , bean sprouts, and a creamy sesame sauce. Hailing from Xi'an, the Braised Pork Pita Burger was fatty pieces of pork braised in a savory sauce, served in a dry round of "pita," but even better was the Spicy Cumin Lamb Pita Burger, which contained a tantalizingly spicy, flavorful filling of tender spiced lamb. The Signature Beef Bone Noodle Soup came with noodles in a simple broth, topped with three bone-in beef ribs. The meat on the ribs was rather tough and sinewy, and the soup on the bland side, but the presentation of the dish was definitely impressive. Finally, the House Special Braised Dry Noodle was a bowl of noodles topped with a savory sauce with lots of different dried ingredients including tofu, s mushrooms, shiitake mushrooms, and red bell peppers. For each noodle dish, you could select from a variety of noodles, but my favorite by far was the 2cm "General Wide" noodles, which had an amazing chewy texture. Was going to another noodle place but it seems it was no longer there so we decided come here to since it is in the same plaza. This is not our first time here. There seems to have some menu change since the last time we came. We ordered 2 dry noodles and a cold spicy pig ears appetizer. The pig ears were piled up with no fillers - something hard to find these days. You can select the type of noodles so I picked the widest while my husband picked the middle one. I love the el dente texture of the noodles giving it a bit of chew. My braised pork belly dry noodles was not dry... very watery which was not to my liking. I want my dry noodles with as little gravy as possible. The flavor was light despite all the gravy, but the veggies and one egg made it up. The house special dry noodles had just the right amount of gravy for taste but not enough ingredients. I was wondering why the restaurant is called One Piece... I guess the entire bowl of noodles is one piece noodle as it was hard to eat as all the noodles are tangled. No complaints here just need to be careful with the splashes on your shirt. Overall the food was good, service was decent as we were offered actual menu instead of only using QR code to order. The place was not small with plenty of table. One of my favorite if not my FAVORITE place for Chinese noodles! They have everything from Lanzhou lamian to Youpo mian to Liangpi! The cuisine is more western China focused with the Chinese hamburger (肉夹馍) and big plate chicken (大盘鸡). Parking is ample in the plaza, and service is very fast. You can see the kitchen and its workflows from the outside, sort of like what you see at Marugame. Spoiler alert, the noodles really are handpulled and the kitchen is very clean! I ordered a Lanzhou Beef noodle soup and Chili Oil noodle. The broth in the Lanzhou noodle was very savory and perfectly seasoned. They also respected my comment for mild spicy, and it was one of the only times I drank almost all the soup since I did not taste artificial powders or too much white pepper. The Chili Oil noodle was also ordered with mild spice, and the noodles were so chewy and perfect, I can't wait to come back here already! We just wished the chili oil noodle had more meats, since there were like only a 2 or 3 slices of beef. Otherwise, portion sizes were also big for the price point, and the quality was beyond my expectations. Since it was our first time here, we were a little cautious and just ordered what we needed. My wife and I stopped by One Piece Lamian this past Sunday for the first time and we had a great meal. Since we came during the noon lunch rush, there was a small wait for a table. Ordering is done entirely via a QR code on the table. Once we placed our order, I was shocked at how fast the food came out of the kitchen: the appetizers came out in about 30 seconds and our mains came out about five minutes later. From the appetizer menu, we ordered the shaved potato salad and the spicy pig ears. Both dishes were seasoned well and had the exact flavor profile I was expecting. I especially liked the spicy pig ears here because of how thinly its slicked. For our mains, I ordered the cold noodles with shredded chicken while my wife ordered the sour cabbage lamb noodles. One Piece Lamian definitely has some of the best textured noodles I've had in the Bay. The noodles here are cooked perfectly and have just the right of resistance to them when you bite in. For certain noodle dishes, you're even able to choose the type of the noodles from five different options, from thin angel hair to wide pappardelle. There's spicy chili oil on the table as well if the default spiciness is not enough for you. I cannot recommend One Piece enough if you're craving Asian noodles. I had a pretty disappointing experience here. First, I was surprised to see that I was charged a tip on a takeout order. The online checkout defaulted to adding gratuity, and it wasn't clearly communicated, so I ended up paying it unintentionally. That felt misleading and left a bad impression right from the start. When I asked the server about this at counter, they were unwilling to refund. On top of that, when I asked if they could separate our order into different packages, the staff responded with a noticeably unfriendly attitude. Although it can get busy, we've never had trouble with long wait times. I regularly opt for their Lanzhou Beef Noodle Soup w/small flat noodles. Thin slices of beef shank, a plentiful amount of chewy noodles, and garnishes of cilantro and pickled radish all steeped in a clear bone broth speckled with chili oil are all enough to satiate anyone's appetite including mine. I've been dreaming about coming back here! And it's as good as I remember. Upon entering it's very casual with a spacious feel. We got the braised beef noodle soup, pig ears, big plate chicken, and the golden soup with lamb. The noodles are so fresh and bouncy! I also like how you can choose the shape. The flavor of the broths are excellent. I do wish the beef was more tender. The big plate chicken is also amazing with the giant flat noodles, but it's a tad too salty. When I kindly asked them about the charge and see if they could remove it from the order, they rudely said they were busy, you decided to give 20% on the app, there's nothing we could do. It's ridiculous how unprofessional they are and unwilling to do thing right. One staff said, you can cancel the entire order and reorder the same thing without the tip. But I cannot cancel it since it's a completed order on the app. The other staff refuse to even look at me and just said, we gave you the food, we did our job, you may leave. My order in total was over $100. I'm not here to cry about the extra $23 paid in tips. I can happy afford it if it's reasonable and I received the corresponding service. But I did not get any service as a takeout order customer. I just want to let folks who think about dining there know, that lower your expectation for services, and just go eat the food. One piece lamian is a franchise type noodle shop. So, you will find a multiple stores with the same name, BUT don't be mistaken. Not all noodle shops under the same name are equal. We originally tried a noodle shop under the same franchise in Concord, and it was amazing! The noodles were fresh and seasoned properly, however, we didn't feel that way about this shop. The noodles at this place didn't seem fresh, as the noodles were a little soggy. The flavor profile was mild, a little peanut butter, a little soup ish, and quite bland. I always finish this dish at other places, but this didn't taste very palatable. The other stores under the same name in Concord/WC area was so much better. [Spicy pig ears $11.99] 4/5 - Basic and super spicy. Was good, but same as everywhere else. [Lanzhou beef noodle soup $14.99] 3/5 - Again, noodles weren't exactly fresh. Didn't care for the small flat noodles and the broth was mild. However, the beef was good. [Braised pork pita burger $7.99] 5/5 - Unexpected pleasant surprise! This was sooo tasty and I had never tried anything like this before. Bread was crispy, pork was flavorful. Only thing missing is more cilantro! I always see this place passing by and finally tried it since I was craving noodle soup. A lot of people seem to get the beef bone noodle soup but I got the dry cumin lamb noodles. The noodles were the thick round noodles and they were pretty well cooked and chewy. The lamb pieces were thin and easy to eat. They also threw in a few red pepper for crunch. The seasoning was mainly cumin and spice but flavorful and not just one note. The portion of noodles was pretty big so I split it into two meals. Overall a decent dish for a reasonable price! As a connoisseur of noodles (ESPECIALLY handmade noodle dishes), I love the idea of this place. A solid noodle shop with a bunch of different types of handmade noodle dishes. I came with my mom and sister and we all got different dishes to try! The one I got (pictured) was really good, but spicier than I was expecting (my fault haha). The wide noodles were so juicy and picked up the sauce/flavors beautifully with each bite. I also tried my sister's "cold skin noodles" (iykyk) and "braised pork belly dry noodle". We chose this place based off the good reviews on Yelp but quickly became very disappointed in the food. When my order arrived, the noodles were in clumps and not separated. That's usually a sign of poor quality control and that the noodles were not made on site. The broth was tasteless and lacked seasoning and temperature was between hot and warm, as if it had been sitting out for 5-10 mins. The chunks of meat were not hot. The temperature of the outside was warmer than the inside which infers that the meat was left out or refrigerated and they warmed it up by dropping them into the broth. This could be why the broth wasn't very hot and the meat was only mildly warm on the inside. My date also said that her noodles didn't seem to be freshly made and were soggy. When we asked the staff, they didn't have much to say about the noodles except if they made another bowl of noodles, it would come out the same way. We just left the noodles half eaten, and drove 12 miles to our favorite place in Milpitas for fresh noodles. This place is close to where we live, but not worth it. read more

(2) Pork & Chives Dumplings to share - large portion and large dumplings overall. Super tasty and juicy, great as an app before or add to your noodle soup! You can also get different sizes per their homemade noodles, I usually go for regular thin size which is the right texture/bounce per my preference. (6) Lanzhou Beef Noodle Soup - this is good when you want a little kick, since it does have the spicy oil drizzle. It's not super spicy in heat, but a bit more smoky/dynamic in flavor. Love the Daikon radish here, which adds a refreshing touch. (7) Tomato Beef Noodle Soup - this was unique and surprisingly tasty as well! Reminds me a bit of Vietnamese Bun Rieu (which is my FAVE) - but without the seafood-ness. It's a little tart but still beefy in broth/flavor. Tried this with the thin angel hair noodz which worked together well. (8) Braised Beef Noodle Soup - this was also tasty just a bit more rich. The meat was def more tender and the broth and soup had a bit more flavor from the braised beef. Not my fave but still tasty and perf for the beef lover. I also got one of their Braised Pork Pita Burger (臘汁肉夹餛). Both of the noodle soup came with a milky, light, but good flavor broth. The noodles are also cooked well and have a good chew to it, I quite like it. They also had other dishes like dry noodles, pastries, and appetizers, but will have to try those next time. The Miscellaneous We discovered the restaurant in a plaza along with other storefronts. The restaurant is pretty spacious inside, there is a good amount of seating. You can push some tables together to accommodate some decent party size. Their staff was quite sincere and the service was good as well during the time we visited. They specialize in lamian (拉面), or hand pulled noodles, so their menu focused on noodle. But they also have other side dish selection as well. The first and foremost thing that I noticed is they would not give you my news unless you insist on it and even then the menu such tiny fond of English that you can barely read it. Instead, they want you to order it from the scan code on the table, which wouldn't work until we tried with multiple angles on both phones. We have never been here or read the reviews before stepping inside. We were just craving soup with noodles. When we were seated, we scanned the QR code to order but the options were in Chinese and the staff mentioned to do it again but start over completely. Afterwards, we were able to complete our order. We ordered the braised pork noodle soup and the pork pita burger. Wow , the broth was delicious! It wasn't salty or too spicy. The pork was very tender with lots of flavor. We requested the thicker noodles, which was perfect. The pita itself is a little bit larger than an English muffin and it's toasted. The shredded pork was ok. It lacked flavor.
