BBQ Pork appetizer, Shrimp & vegetables, and Egg drop soup.

I'm in town for business and was looking for some Chines food to be delivered to my hotel, so I could keep working. I found this restaurant. The rating was 3 stars, but it was late, so I and thought I would give it a try anyway. Yelp said it would take an hour for delivery, but my food arrived in about 30 minutes. I ordered the Shrimp and vegetables, BBQ Pork appetizer, and a small Egg drop soup. The food was hot, and tasted great. I'm not sure why the previous ratings were only 3 stars. I definitely give it 5 stars for my experience. I would recommend that if you're in the area, and are wanting Chinese food, to give this place a try. I think you'll be pleasantly surprised.

THIS is how you make lomein!

Finally! Delicious lomein in Chicago that is brown in color and not the yellow chow mein looking type . I've lived here for 18 years and have had such bad luck with lomein from different Chinese restaurants here. This shrimp lomein was brown in color, perfectly spiced, and the jumbo shrimp tasted AMAZING. We also ordered shrimp fried rice and crab rangoons with our order, which were good as well. I can't wait to order from here again!

This was my first and last time trying China Station. We ordered off their site, which was very simple but the problem was our order was incorrect. We ordered two beef and broccoli's but we received two very different things, I'm not even sure what one was...we also bought a can of Coca Cola that did not arrive. No napkins, no fork, not even the receipt.

    The fortune.... how ironic

Inexpensive, friendly Chinese take out. The vegi fried rice, and vegi pad Thai were pretty good!

The server was always on her phone. I asked her so many times to removed the dirty plates from the table and she completely ignored us. The ambiance was empty just a few orders to go. I feel SAD that I took an hour drive to be so disappointed at the horrible tasting food and also the bad service

We were trying to find a place to eat dinner nearby and noticed them which were practically next door. We ordered Shrimp Fried Rice and Ribeye Steak with Mushrooms for carry out. The prepared the order quickly and within a few minutes, the order was ready. Upon picking up the order, we noticed how nice the establishment was inside. The Shrimp in the dish was jumbo shrimp which was a nice surprise. Both dishes were only okay due to lack of flavor. They were skimpy in the number of soy and sweet & sour sauce (2 of each). They were nice enough to give us 2 fortune cookies (one cheated me out of a fortune, LOL). NOTE: They have a Chicago location in Chinatown as well.

The eggs rolls had very little inside them, but were pleasant enough fried dough. All of the chicken dishes seem to have a pressed chicken--not sliced or real chicken. Pleasant enough, but kind of strange. The Almond Ding had separate almonds, which was nice and Chick with peadpods appeared to have a little bit of real mushrooms and some real pea pods in it--but they lacked fresh flavor. The sauce is very bland, and kind of like a globby-like texture. There's a lack of any Chinese vegetables. No Bok Choy, no bamboo shoots, very few water chestnuts, no green pepper. Just tons of pressed chicken, and a bland white sauce. My husband's Orange Chicken was supposed to be hot but was not. It was pleasant but same pressed chicken now breaded (much better cover for pressed chicken). Lack of veggies in all the dishes. Would we go back? Probably not. Ended up throwing half of it away. Honestly, Panda Express is probably just as good which is kind of sad.

I do get DoorDash occasionally, and most of the time it is out of convenience. I do have (via a credit card) a free DashPass account, so I take advantage of the lower fees and zero delivery charge whenever I can. It was pouring out, I felt awful for the delivery person. But, I went with Shrimp Toast, the Egg rolls (2 orders), and the Beef Chow Fun (Small). First of all the deal they offered on these items was really great! All in, including tip, the cost of the meal was $31. Eating in a hotel room poses its challenges, but the restaurant packed the food in containers where you could eat from them easily but also it kept the food warmer since it was still in the "to-go" boxes with the metal handle. I love shrimp toast, so whenever I see it on a menu I'm like Pavlov's Dog. I get that, and who doesn't love egg rolls. Since Covid, most Chinese restaurant's pricing has gone aggressively up- so I look for deals like this on DoorDash whenever I can. The delivery driver brought the meal to my door, there's an overhang by the front door and the hotel only has 3 floors...my hotel room was so close to the elevator the driver had issues finding it ha! Anyway, I thought for the price, the food was tasty, generous, and exactly what I needed for the moment. I would recommend ordering from here, but look out for those deals online where you can get them.
