Well it's a new Chinese take out place for me. I was disappointed that they gave no fork or napkins with the order. And to top this these dumplings taste too similar to h mart frozen dumplings that I get. I could've done this? Pot stickers are suppose to have ginger taste this one tasted too Korean style for me. I am not impressed.

    Tofu Country Style

Hard to believe but not the best Chinese around here. It has pretty average food and nothing is worth going a long way to get so ignore it. Yen Ching has locations in Naperville and Plainfield. As to which one's better it's hard to say because they're both not that bad. This one is very small and can only have takeout. I put in an order for carryout. Making an order doesn't have to be hard because there's also an option for making it over the internet. They allow you to put it in an order the internet so they can read it correctly and it's a lot more accurate this way. Food is okay. There's not a whole lot great about it though. I had the Tofu Country Style. It's $10.25 at lunch with a big portion of rice and tofu. The green onions, green peppers, and white onions make up most vegetables. It tasted not that fresh. The food also wasn't hot enough and had to be warmed before eating it. Check it out at lunch for the best prices on many items for the lunch combo. It has no actual dining room inside because the place is small. This is the kind of restaurant that gets all its business from takeout.

    Our dinner order for 4

We had a very good experience for dinner this evening. Both chicken egg rolls, and crispy shrimp rolls, beef vegetable, sesame chicken, and Yang chow fried rice all if it was excellent. It is a bit of a drive but is so much better than options near the house. Not to mention the food was ready on time as promised while ordering on-line

Purchased Pork Chow Fun No Meat Wt?!
    Gail A.

We order from this restaurant once or twice a month. I noticed the flavor has been inconsistent sometimes well seasoned and mediocre. I ordered Pork Fun and as you will see from the pictures there was not a dam bit of pork. What kind of service is this? Did the chef get drunk and forgot how to properly prepare food. It's not like customers are hoarding the door to purchase food. Therefore, this mess up should not have happened. I also asked for extra meat but which the person taking order failed to include. It was good she didn't considering the circumstances. All I got was a bunch of low quality noodles that is extremely greasy, thick and broken up that apparently was frozen, thawed then thrown in a greasy sauce. This company appears to don't care about serving best quality food and I got pictures to prove it. Not happy and I would have done better taking my hard earned ten dollars and bought a roasted chicken with two sides from Jewels or Walmart. Wasted my darn coins. Won't be frequenting them anytime soon and will tell friends and family beware and check your food beforehand. My daughter last month bought the Beef Fun and the meat had a weird taste and texture so she buys the Shrimp Fun. Sadness

One of the best Chinese spots in town. You really get a bang for your buck, and the food is truly delicious. Such a solid place.

Unfortunately, the food was terrible. My son is obsessed with orange chicken and we ended up throwing it away because it was so terrible.

I ordered online for carry out and the platform was easy to navigate. Once my husband and I arrived at the resto we were greeted by a very kind staff member. Our food wasn't ready but within 5 mins of us being there it was good to go. We tried the wonton soup and chicken dumplings app. Both were on the bland side. Normally I'm used to wonton soup also having noodles and theirs does not. Flavors were OK, felt like both dishes were missing spices. Everything was cooked perfectly though. Maybe we ordered the wrong items from here and need to try others instead.

The Shrimp in the dish was jumbo shrimp which was a nice surprise. Both dishes were only okay due to lack of flavor. They were skimpy in the number of soy and sweet & sour sauce (2 of each). They were nice enough to give us 2 fortune cookies (one cheated me out of a fortune, LOL). NOTE: They have a Chicago location in Chinatown as well.

I do get DoorDash occasionally, and most of the time it is out of convenience. I do have (via a credit card) a free DashPass account, so I take advantage of the lower fees and zero delivery charge whenever I can. It was pouring out, I felt awful for the delivery person. But, I went with Shrimp Toast, the Egg rolls (2 orders), and the Beef Chow Fun (Small). First of all the deal they offered on these items was really great! All in, including tip, the cost of the meal was $31. Eating in a hotel room poses its challenges, but the restaurant packed the food in containers where you could eat from them easily but also it kept the food warmer since it was still in the "to-go" boxes with the metal handle. I love shrimp toast, so whenever I see it on a menu I'm like Pavlov's Dog. I get that, and who doesn't love egg rolls. Since Covid, most Chinese restaurant's pricing has gone aggressively up- so I look for deals like this on DoorDash whenever I can. The delivery driver brought the meal to my door, there's an overhang by the front door and the hotel only has 3 floors...my hotel room was so close to the elevator the driver had issues finding it ha! Anyway, I thought for the price, the food was tasty, generous, and exactly what I needed for the moment. I would recommend ordering from here, but look out for those deals online where you can get them.

This place is kind of hidden because it's located in a crappy building with a parking lot that makes it hard to get to. Came in and it wasn't busy. We were about the only ones in there. It's about $11 for a lunch special, which includes soup. This isn't that great of a special if you don't want the soup though. Has a lot of choices. The best one obviously has to be Mapo Tofu. Of course it's the signature item. This is soft tofu in a spicy sauce along with some onions and peppers. For sure it's pretty good even though it's not all authentic.
