Okay, this place was surprisingly really good! My friends and I stumbled upon this place while looking for a cheap spot for blue crabs LOL. The places we found were charging well over $100 for a dozen or a bushel, and we definitely didn't want to spend that much. Then this restaurant came up as having steamed blue crabs, so we thought, okayyyyyy perfect! It was only $19 on a weekend night, which honestly is a STEAL. We got there around 9 PM and they were still bringing out fresh, hot food, which was surprising since they close at 10 PM. We honestly expected it to be maybe a 3-star meal and would have called it a night, but I was pleasantly surprised. Pretty good Chinese spot. They have all the essentials. All the food was decent. Place appears clean. The chicken wings were good. They can cook a custom noodle/ meat order on the grille. Desert was subpar as they had a few selections. Service was good. Waiter checked in often for drink refills and to grab your used plate. Would recommend especially if you have picky children. Service is fine. Food is a mixed bag. The buffet food was below standard in my opinion, a little colder than I would've liked and just meh. I had a few pieces of sushi which were fine, fresh from what I can tell. The only redeeming thing for me was the hibachi bar which was fairly good. Also the water has a weird kinda bleachy taste to it and like I'm glad things are clean but it's kinda a lot and it's like that every time, not just this time. Also the fortune cookies were stale and smelled a bit like rancid oil. Overall I think this place would benefit from having less options of a better quality when it comes to the buffet hotbars. For some reason, we were driving toward Rehoboth talking about crabs and crabcakes, when we saw a billboard for the Chinese buffet. Hunger overtook us and . . . here we are. It's a good buffet. The sushi section is mostly vegetables and some with cream cheese, but there's plenty of wasabi and regular and low-salt soy sauce available. Decent sushi, really. In general, the entrees are what you would expect from Chinese buffet, although I will say the fried shrimp and fried chicken were quite good. They had a big pile of blue crabs - they didn't have any Old Bay or other seasoning and the crab itself didn't have much flavor. Sadly, it's the crab that should set this buffet (located in a beach community) apart from Chinese buffet elsewhere. But honestly the crabs just weren't very tasty. For dessert, there are a variety of cookies, cakes and small containers of ice cream that were frozen like blocks. I'm sounding negative, but it's Chinese buffet and it's decent. It's also $15.95 which is a good price for a decent Chinese buffet. I doubt I'll come back because I have decent Chinese buffet available to me in other places. The service was ok. I'm totally impressed! Just loved it! You enter, and there is a mini pagoda with a board of prices and specials, seated very quickly. We were lucky to be there on the lunchtime buffet. At a certain time, they bring out dinner dishes and label them "dinner only", it works. Mon and Tuesday they give Sr discounts, otherwise, no discounts. It is a typical Chinese/American buffet with very good food, fresh and hot. Loads of steam billowing out from around the pans of food. This is a good visual sign the food is as it should be. Huge selection, but what stole the show for me was the Stir Fried Potatoes, not very Chinese, you know, crispy and flavorful and tender on the inside. I could not leave them alone, and neither could the other customers. They empty out fast.. 4 different soups are included...wonton, egg drop, beef, and something else. They have green onions chopped and crisps. I recommend the Wonton soup. We did not eat dinner, which included roast beef, fancier fish, and crabs (female, sm-med) without much seasoning. Other customers ordered hot tea, and it comes in a decor complementing pot. $1.50. I fell for it as a tea drinker. The pot sells you, very Asian looking, and it captured me. The tea was very weak, I was disappointed but not enough to effect the review. They do have an included Hibachi and sushi bar, many desserts, and ice cream cups in a chest freezer with clear sliding doors. We found ourselves in the area during the off season recently and decided to try this spot for lunch. Decent, if a bit limited, variety of offerings on the buffet. They seemed to do a good job of refilling items when they were depleted. We found it a bit odd that they had the hibachi offerings (raw chicken and beef, etc) on the same table as the salad bar. I had found this place to see what was around the area and on my way to the beach, we saw a billboard sign miles before we had arrived and knew I wanted to check this place out before we left the area. the variety of options were there; soups, chicken, salad bar, and even seafood. you definitely can get a good deal during lunch time, but not worth it after. the quality of food was low tier and felt like it was sitting out for a while. For $17, you get a top-rate hibachi station, an oyster bar, blue crabs, seafood, and a good Chinese buffet. We don't have that where I live (outside DC). Server was amazing. Now remember, it was a buffet. She was right there clearing plates, but not until they were empty and never in the way. Better than most Chinese buffets. The people are nicer, the food is pretty much the usual selection, but seems to be slightly tastier. They have the usual non-Chinese dishes, like fried chicken, mashed potatoes, and gravy, and pizza. What really shines here is the baked tilapia, the shrimp with the shell on, and the string beans, but my favorite is the hibachi grill, which is in the back of the restaurant. The advantage of the hibachi Grill is that you completely control what goes in your dish, and a nice worker grills it for you; And you can make it as healthy or unhealthy as you want because of that. The thing that the hibachi grill lacks that I couldn't find is a bowl of chopped garlic. (Edit- they've got it but you have to ask for it!) I like to put a fair amount of garlic into my hibachi grill... But I feel like I didn't go that far off my diet eating here today, partially because I stopped before I got a third plate, but mostly because I controlled what I ate here. And eating fish and string beans and chicken and onions and broccoli in the hibachi grill. Makes me feel pretty good about myself. I mentioned earlier how nice the interior is.. This place has been here for probably at least 10 years, and the interior looks almost like new. They keep it very clean and very nice, but when they built the restaurant, they put a little extra money into it, and it just looks great. It really does. This is a pretty typical buffet. The food was ok; my favorite was the hibachi, which for me was a plate of veggies with an egg and some noodles. I also enjoyed the steamed fish. The quality of the shrimp cocktail was average. This is a good option and reasonably priced considering you're in a tourist area. I try to avoid buffets since I end up eating too much, but this is a great option if you're hungry! read more

It's your standard Chinese buffet so the review is not for the food quality. If anything it's one of the better Chinese buffets I've been to. It's also one of the cleaner ones which isn't hard to beat. However the service is terrible. Not only are the waitresses rude, but they will sit and watch as you fill out the tip portion of the receipt. If they are not satisfied they will immediately become disrespectful, snatching away the store copy without a thank you before you can even get your card. Here's a tip: learn some manners. read more

This is the Rehoboth Beach location. I have been to the one in Salisbury. If they are the same owners, I liked the Rehoboth location better. The food tasted better. Could be I was hungry and anywhere would have tasted better. They have a large variety of foods and a fair amount of sushi. It was crowded at late lunch, but we were seated right away. Getting there before 3:30 and they still have lunch prices. That's a good deal. The waitress was friendly and kept our glasses from running out. Had a lunch with my family today. We went there for the first time and were wondering how they would cope with restrictions due to Covid-19. Before being served to a table, we were told to wear masks while taking food items. At our table we took the masks to eat. They also gave us pairs of disposable gloves to wear which I thought was nice. The restaurant was spacious so it was obvious that 6 feet apart from other guests was possible. I was satisfied with the variety of dishes they served. Since the outbreak of Covid-19, food supply is somewhat unstable.
