Quick and reasonable! The area has less than ample Chinese takeout options that are actual edible so Wu's Kitchen is a solid go-to spot in Rehoboth Beach for takeout. Prices are fair, and they also have lunch specials if you don't feel like a bigger portion. We usually go with general tso's and sweet and sour chicken. Staff is friendly and attentive. While a few items didn't quite wow us enough to earn a full five stars, the overall experience is enjoyable and we come back often! read more

The food was sub par! Hunan on Miller Rd , is fantastic, unfortunately they are closed on Mondays . So I came here. Orange chicken , no flavor . Boy, has this place gone downhill. Ordered in the past and food was okay... nothing great but, okay Cantonese style more or less. No more. Mu shiu pork had no taste and no pork. Pretty typical Chinese take out fare. We ordered the Singapore MeiFun and the Mushu Pork. Both were ok; the MeiFun was not as flavorful as other places. Not bad food. I hardly ever see Triple Delight, that's beef, shrimp & chicken, in a lunch/dinner combination plate. It was fantastic. The vegetables weren't over cooked and the brown sauce was made to perfection. The pork fried rice was delicious and the eggroll was not oily at all, it even had meat in it, as it should.. My only complaint was the dish had only two pieces of shrimp in it, but I understand the economics of putting jumbo shrimp in a $10 platter. read more

We like Wu's. I came here with a person that has run a Chinese restaurant most of his life; we love it's proximity to the Tanger Outlet malls for the tourists, and their hours of operation are longer than most.... We discussed this place thoroughly after eating here about 8-10 times- here's our likes and dislikes. LIKES The family that runs it- they're just nice- real salt of the earth folks. Portions are great. Prices- especially for the beach- are great. The tumblers for the soft drinks or water are HUGE! The lo mein is truly excellent. We sometimes get the pork, sometimes the House (chicken pork shrimp). I wish it had just a little more protein in it- next time, I think we'll try ordering with extra meat for extra cost. The sweet and sour dishes are uniformly good. Egg rolls are quite good. Crispy beef is excellent. Triple delight soup is excellent. Dislikes Decor leaves a bit to be desired; it feels halfway between a take out place and a sit down restaurant- which is exactly what it is! The fried rice is dry, non greasy, not even shiny-- so I'm sure it's much better for you.... but. I'm sorry to say I like the greasier, less healthy style. Not quite enough protein in there either. Kung Pao Chicken wasn't bad- it's just meh... so many other great dishes here to choose from. We like the Corelle plates and real silverware- better for the environment and all... Wu's Kitchen is a wonderful family run business that busts their butts 7 days a week to bring delicious Chinese American cuisine at an affordable price point. They maintain a nice and clean facility, and even offer hibachi cooking. I live right across the street from their location and I frequent them more often than I should... because I just don't feel like cooking. Lol. I highly recommend Wu's Kitchen. read more

Lunch special is a great deal. The young lady was friendly taking my order. I ordered a lunch special meal: beef with string beans with a side of fried rice and wonton soup for just $6.95. I also ordered Mapo tofu. Mapo tofu was delicious with the right amount of spice. The business was quite busy. A lot of people came in and out for takeouts. My order came out fast and packaged well with double bags, paper bag and plastic bag, so it didn't release smell in my car. Minute one star for two reasons: 1. No utensils provided with my takeout order. I was not even asked if I needed utensils. We stayed in a hotel a few miles away. We had to run to the concierge for forks and knives. 2. The restaurant door feels dirty and sticky. That made me wonder how they keep up with sanitation. Overall 4 stars. Bottomline I will come back again as their food is great. read more

I am a recent local looking for a decent chinese restaurant in the area. Still haven't found one. I ordered Kung Pao chicken, Singapore rice noodles and General Tso's chicken from Wu's. The food was extremely bland. I don't know whether they think people don't like strong flavors or they are skimping on ingredients because the only thing that had any flavor was the sauce in the General Tso's and I've had much better. The dishes were hot though and There wasn't anything wrong with them, Just zero flavor. No curry in the singapore rice noodle dish. It looked yellow but none. The kung pao had celery and peanuts and chicken but no ginger, onion, garlic, or sesame oil, you name it. Just bland as bland can get. Like hospital food. So boring that next time I'm thinking about Chinese I would probably save my $45 and not bother. read more

Definitely the best Chinese take out in the area. Sure its menu is pretty standard but I have had several dishes that were all at least as good as can be expected. The Ho Fun was particularly good. Ordered takeout online- Old bay shrimp & broccoli with rice, Shrimp lo mein, 2 pork egg rolls. Got to the restaurant & paid ($23.99), drove off....got home - realized they didnt give me the rice ! it was too far to go back. fortunately there shrimp lo mein was a large enough portion for 2. So we're looking for a place to get some sushi after a disappointing day at the beach (where no swimming was allowed) and equally disappointing shopping at the outlets. After nearly going to a majorly overpriced sushi bar up the road, we decide to check this place out because it's listed as "sushi." WRONG! This is Chinese food. I thought the name was off, but Yelp was firm about there being sushi here. The menu inside the restaurant confirmed that they only serve a party tray (which they were out of, anyway). Whatever. We were so hungry that we decided to just eat here. The prices are VERY FAIR. Under $10/person for a dinner special; I saw lots of people (obviously regulars) driving up to pick up orders. The service is non-existent and the cashier and server hardly said two words to us. It's almost like fast food! We got our meals shortly after ordering, which was great because I was a HANGRY MOTHER. The soup was light and flavorful; I really enjoyed the wontons in broth (plain but good) and my friend's egg drop was delicious. The pork lo mein was AWESOME. Tastes Americanized, but you really can't go wrong with greasy, tasty noodles. The moo goo gai pan was good, but not excellent; you could tell the ingredients were fresh (not frozen), but the sauce needed a little extra oomph (I added soy sauce). Everything was great about the food until... Two hours later. We're on the freeway. "Uh... I think there was something wrong with that food." We had to pull over at the nearest exit and we both got sick. Sadness. Ordered Lemon Chicken ... Not what I'm used to getting this was battered Chicken pieces similar to sweet and sour chicken just changed out the sauce...BUT the Lemon sauce was DELICIOUS and they give a large amount of chicken !! First time order tonight, it was okay but not good. Egg rolls not crispy but tasty enough (I think you have to proactively get mustard or soy sauce - on your own here) and the Moo-shoo Chicken was tasty but had no mushrooms, scallions, or Cloud Ear fungus. A bit bland. The strangest dish was Kun Pao chicken. It was a soupy mess of sliced chicken breast, celery, carrots, and peanuts in a watery hot sauce. No brown sauce, little flavor. I guess this is something not to ever re-order. We may try this place again but maybe not. I don't think they use garlic or onion. Not sure why but I can't seem to find authentic Kung pao chicken in any Chinese takeout in Delaware? they all use thinly sliced white chicken meat and chop up celery and carrots and baby corns in it? It's so gross!!! Kung po chicken is made with thigh meat, is in a spicy thick sauce with peanuts and scallions. I don't understand why it's this crazy soupy dish full of vegetables in rehobeth and Bethany (2 places I've tried). Omg- it's just Blech! What a disappointment. Called in take out order through Uber, and there "card was declined"?!?! Anyway, went in to pick up and they where going crazy trying to keep up with take out orders! Disappointing experience ordering in person. Although I think it is commendable to have family members working at their restaurant, the young girl taking my orders came across as rude. She never said hello or thank you but rather in a very automated way asked in a loud voice if I was ready to order when I had just walked in and picked up the menu. After I placed my order she walked way never mentioning how long it was going to take for my order to be ready. I observed other customers being treated the same way. Was in the area around lunch time and figured I will pick up lunch @ Wu's based on the good reviews. Order lunch special L42 fried scallops and sesame chicken with fried rice and egg roll. The scallops were frozen ones and has no taste to them, the chicken was good, the fired rice consist of rice with soy sauce, carrot and peas with no meat at all. The egg roll was greasy. The foods not bad for Delaware but I'm leaving a review for the service, every time I call a small child answers the phone and take the order she kinda just yells into the phone and then if she didn't hear you she says "WHAT!?" I ordered Tempura shrimp and was very disappointed when it was delivered to me. It's not Shrimp Tempura, it's just the same as their Sweet and Sour Shrimp. Excellent variety and flavorful dishes. Their chow mein is different - look carefully at the description because it's not the traditional chow mein with soft noodles. Lo mein is their version. Excellent veggie egg rolls, walnut prawns, orange chicken, steamed broccoli and bean curd (tofu), steamed green beans and mu Shu chicken. Everything comes with white rice and a lot of different sauces so be sure to tell them if you don't need it all. Order fortune cookies if you want some, they don't automatically come with the meal. Lots of rest veggies and not overly greasy or salty. Very good Chinese food at a great value. We have a lot of leftovers. And it's a family business so tip generously. Never again. I haven't actually eaten here. I am writing to say that because they use Door Dash I will never patronize them. I ordered $35 worth of food from them and Door Dash left it at a fire exit in the back of a bar. Door Dash would not correct their mistake with a refund or re-delivery. Our go-to Chinese spot in Rehoboth! My husband and I have been down in Rehoboth since March and randomly chose this place on our first night and loved it. The people at this place seriously work so hard, especially the little girl managing the front!
