We took advantage of the Father's Day Brunch at Saketumi from 11:30-2:30 pm today after gaving enjoyed a delicious meal here yesterday as well. I've posted some photos of the generous assortment of food items available, many of which I'd be unable to pronounce much less recall. We were seated immediately upon our reservation time of 11:30 am. The quality of the foid was extraordinary and included a large assortment of sushi. I tried the eel Avacado sushi today of which I'll not likely partake again in the future, thank you. Yesterday we were served by Dominic who unfortunately is relocating to northern NJ. He was exceptional, and his separation from the restaurant must be considered a loss. Hopefully the photos will be an idea of the variety of tasty foods we had to choose from. The restaurant is clearly one you ought visit when in these environs!

Came here for my birthday last year and loved it! My favorite thing about this place is how art can be seen in both the interior design and the food. Our waitress was super nice and got our food and drinks out quick. Definitely recommend!

Alec & Mike are an awesome duo. Always a good time when I visit. Happy Hour specials are handled with care & expediency. Ordered HH Rolls: Tuna, Yellow Tail Scallion, Salmon & Spicy Tuna w/ Dim Sum App. Sushi is tasty, Dim Sum not so much flavor, however the prices here give you fair opportunity to try food you hadn't before. Thank you for sample of Szechaun Sauce (ft on the Ma Pa Tofu dish) as that helped flavor the Dim Sum. Highly recommend this location for good sushi chefs, good customer service, good ambiance and good food.

Waitress acted like she was on drugs, she had needle marks on her arms and missing teeth. She was hyperactive and couldn't stand still. Every time she set food on the table her hand would touch the food in some way. Which grossed me out. The food was not good at all. I ordered the hibachi chicken and it was the worst iv ever had. There was nothing hibachi about it. No noodles, white rice, big soggy pieces of chicken, not much too it. All it consisted of was broccoli, rice, chicken not even good flavor. Place defiantly looks like it should be better from the outside. Wont be coming back.

Get here between4 and 6 for discount quality sushi!

Outstanding happy hour at bar and high tops. Enjoy sitting at the bar and chatting with regulars. Food and drink are outstanding. Service is quick. During the season is hard to get a spot so go early!

A good spot for happy hour when you're driving into town for a vacation or if you're a local just wanting to get Asian fix! Tried the appetizer platter on the regular menu. My friend and I enjoyed the crab wontons, coconut shrimp and spring rolls. The chicken satay was good with peanut sauce and the shumai were pretty thick/dense, just not was I was expecting. Enjoyed our sushi off the happy menu: spicy tuna and my mai tai! Cosmo is good, but we needed some extra cranberry juice which the nice bartender supplied us with! He even came around asking if we would like a second cocktail before happy hour ended. ( FYI: 2 drink limit for happy hour). Every dish that came out of the kitchen, looked and smelled great-- definitely want to come here for a meal!

We stopped in about 1-2 hours before closing so when we were seated, they informed us of the last call timing for ordering food, dessert and alcohol. The lighting is dim and romantic for sure. The music was a vibe (we overheard it was just a "lounge" playlist but it was a good one! The lightning could have been better - it was a little flashy at times for dinner. When it was time to order, we were stuck between 2 appetizers and ended up taking the waiter's recommendation on the crab Rangoons and are so glad we did. Best we ever had in our entire lives. Made with real crab - makes all the difference! They were soft with a light outer crunch. Perfect consistency! 10/10! I ordered the Pad Thai (slightly less spicy) and I'm glad I did. Our waiter was very informative on how the spice scale here worked and we were appreciative of that! The only issue we had was that it seemed like due to coming later in the evening - the servers were kind of rushing everyone along. They were helping eachother bus tables, take checks, etc and in doing so ran our card for another tables check. The bartender was able to void it in time but they were not super apologetic about it. Again, they were very nice but I think their main concern was just getting out of there at a certain time. We had one of our best meals of the week here and will definitely visit again in the future.

Thereafter, the food on the "Asian Fusion" menu sounds great, but leaves much to be desired. More confusion, than fusion. Dumpling Special is a cool notion (why not save a few bucks?). But, when it arrives without ginseng slivers, nor a spoon for dripping the dark vinegar into the removed top knot to mix with the beef soup within the Xiao Long Bau, it becomes apparent skill is lacking in the kitchen. It doesn't help that these dough pouches are commercially bought and not made by knowing hands. The Singapore Black Pepper Crab bowl was sure Szechuan spicy enough, but had so little crab that my crustacean loving wife turned on her phone flashlight to find some. They were ground so small that they were nearly invisible, but could be slightly tasted by their mild sweetness. Just not enough substance to balance the other ingredients. My Cumin Lamb Ho Fun was likewise deep into the heat and looked good with the fat noodles mixed throughout. However, once again the kitchen's lack of deftness appeared with too many tough, stringy and fatty pieces of lamb that were unpleasant and overbore the generally decent quality of the rest of the dish. From my experience, that only happens when attention isn't paid to the texture of the meat when slicing. Cutting lamb against the grain is a no-no. So, even though I enjoyed the Moon Door entrance, the Bodhi (Enlightenment) name and all the on point Asian decor, it was disappointing that all that spirituality stopped at the kitchen door. 2.5 Shakyamuni-less Stars.
