Great food as always !! Delivery was on time!! Fav place to order take out

I've had delivery from here several times over the last year. The food has been good enough, though never great. My sweetie has been a satisfied customer for years though, and has particularly liked their consistency (in price, level of quality, and punctuality). We ordered several items tonight. To their credit, all of the portions were generous; also, they include free side dishes depending on how much you spend. To their detriment, the shrimp lo mein smelled more strongly than it should (fresh seafood shouldn't smell "fishy"). The rest of the food seemed OK (though somewhat lacking in flavor). I'll likely eat here again... though I'll first read the reviews, just to be sure. read more

Tasty 'New York' style Chinese food. They are always fast, polite and the food is consistent. Tried their delivery tonight, and it was pretty quick. I enjoy their fried dumplings, and they always set me up with spicy house mustard for my spring rolls. read more

The general tso's chicken is delicious as is the hot and sour soup. We enjoyed all the food very much.

I was hesitant to order since had so many bad Chinese food experiences when out of town. The food was delivered hot with no delivery fee and great value compared to other options in the area. Tasted fresh and not drenched in oil and preservatives like other Chinese restaurant s. Staff was direct and polite.The only reason didn't give five stars was because the egg rolls were not completely cooked in the center. Phenomenally meh. The fried dumplings were just gross - greasy and otherwise flavorless. The egg rolls were just okay. The honey chicken was somewhat bland and came with a weird mayonnaise-y sauce. And the house lomein was a mixed bag of leftovers: the pork and chicken bits were tasty, but the shrimp, veggies and noodles tasted old. Very disappointing. read more

I work nearby and was craving NY Chinese takeout. I ordered the General Tso's lunch deal. It was $5.25 including drink. It's enough to feed 2 easily. It's very much like most Chinese takeout joints. It's pretty tasty and it's hard to beat the value. It's not amazing food by any means, but it totally delivers on what it's supposed to: cheap, quick and tons of food. It easily bests higher rated places. I was reluctant to try based on 2 year old reviews, but glad I went with my gut. read more

I CAN'T BELIEVE THIS! READ THE WHOLE THING YOU'LL HATE IT! -___- (wooosahhhhh)....Okay.. I just ordered delivery from here and I received it at my job. I can't leave the post I am at, so I had to get it delivered. I ordered crab rangoon (or however you spell it) and the beef and broccoli dinner. I start with the crab rangoon and it has barely any filling inside! I call them back and I say politely that there is a problem and they were chewy, not crispy. The lady kept repeating that she couldn't do anything about it. I work in customer service and I know customers who continuously hear that will be very upset. I am upset. (UGH!!) The female kept repeating herself and I asked to speak to a manager and she went to speak to him herself......(really....). When she came back on the phone she had the same old story and I asked to speak to him (NAME: Lee A.). He got on the phone and I was already irritated and I said, "Sir, I received my crab rangoon and it is chewy and no filling in it and I am upset. I would like a credit or my money back" He said NO!.....(You should have seen my face!!!) At this point I told him I can bring my receipt on Friday since that would be the next time I will be on this side of town as I live 30 minutes away from work and he said NO YOU CAN COME NOW OR NEVER! (I was so shocked.... Mouth wide open at this point.) I said i basically just want my money back for the CR, then he asked if i ate the other food and I said no not yet, I started with the CR and he said well I CANT DO ANYTHING FOR YOU! I asked him for his name and I said I will leave my name and phone number and bring the receipt and get refunded for the CR, he YELLED AT ME(!!!!!!!) and said YOU'RE CALLING ME TO TELL ME MY FOOD IS DISGUSTING?!?!?!?!? I said 'NO SIR! I'm calling as an upset cust---------' He hung up the phone in my face..................................................................(Flabbergasted). Shake....My...Head... WELL, the one place I gave a chance because I don't know a lot about Maitland just gave me a bad taste in my mouth. (No pun intended...) I wouldn't say don't eat here as that is your prerogative, but if you don't like it, this is what you're going to get. I simply asked for a credit and then got to the point of wanting a refund for the CR because of the rude GM. I am still in shock. read more

Very good. I got the chicken wings , 2 large chicken fried rice and pepper steak. Pepper steak was good as the chicken wings. Rice was good too. Only thing was that I was expecting the large rice to actually be large , it's more like a medium. Other then that food was great , right on time . Will definitely be ordering again. read more

The old owners served up some of the best chinese food in the area. The new owners are cheap and have eroded the quality completely. The wonderful roast pork fried rice has been replaced by Central Florida yellowish rice with peas and carrots and the necessity of using a microscope to find any pork. They also cut the number of ribs in the order, shorted me a rib and said oh' well when I called to complain. They also cut out use of American Express. What was an asset to the neighborhood is now a casualty. Please bring back the old owners. read more

Good Chinese take out at great prices. Super cheap and quality food. I came here for the first time for lunch the other day and it was awesome! I got the pepper steak with onions lunch special that was served with roast pork fried rice and a 12oz can of soda. All for under $6 including tax. What a deal! And the portions are huge! I had to try pretty hard to finish it all. We have always loved Jumbo over in Winter Park and PF Changs for better quality Chinese food, but you pay for it. China Wah On restaurant might be our new go to place for cheap take out. Try it! read more

I have to say this is the worst Chinese food I've ever had in my life. The ghetto Chinese store in pine hills is better than this. My noodles were slimy, the dumplings were horrendous. I got them steamed before I didn't like them so I thought frying it would make it a little better. Nope it actually tasted worse. I had to spit it out it was so bad. They either need to learn from their mistakes and make the food better or close down. This is ridiculous. I will never eat here again read more

Fried rice lacked any real flavor. General Tso's was doughy and soggy.

My husband and I had eaten here several times for the lunch prices. Their food is not bad, but it's not great either. The last few times we ordered from them, I ordered shredded pork with string beans, and they kept charging me a couple of dollars extra for the string beans even though the dish I was ordering is supposed to come with string beans. Then one day we ordered our items and they said they had no string beans. So I asked if they could substitute broccoli for the string beans, since they were out of string beans and I didn't want just meat. They said yes. We picked up our food and when we got home we found that they didn't give us the shredded pork. They gave us some pink colored pork dish with broccoli. It was not good, and it was not the shredded pork that we had ordered. My husband called them and the lady kept trying to make it out to be our fault. She kept saying "did you order by number? You have to order by number." My husband had ordered by number and he said the name of the dish when he ordered. There was no excuse for them giving us this strange looking pork instead of the shredded pork we had ordered. After much discussion, and no apologies for their mistake, the lady begrudgingly said she could give me the same meal for no charge the next time we came. I ended up eating something else the day of their mistake because I didn't like what they had given me. We ended up throwing the food out. The next time we went they gave me shredded pork with broccoli, but refused to give me rice with it, which the original dish came with. The lady said they didn't make the rice wrong the first time, so they wouldn't replace the rice, only the shredded pork and broccoli. That is so ridiculous!!! I didn't eat the rice when they made it wrong because I didn't eat the food to go with the rice. Did they expect me to save the rice for the next time we went back, which was a couple of weeks later??? HORRIBLE SERVICE!!! I don't know about other people, but I only eat Chinese food with rice. I just don't enjoy it without rice. My husband ended up giving me some of his rice to eat with my food, but he shouldn't have had to do that. But I really am glad they handled this situation so poorly. It forced us to try other Chinese restaurants in the area that are not only cheaper, but which are much, much better! read more

Used to be pretty good. Had the Pork egg foo young today, it was VERY bad. The "gravy" was acrid and disgusting. The omelette tasted like they wre made days ago. The pork fried rice could easily have been made last week. The crab rangoon was ok as were egg rolls. The hpuse fried rice was also horrible. Also found the sesame chicken to taste old and reheated with a thick pastey sauce that had an odd taste. Disappointing, because I used to enjoy this place. Recently moved to Maitland and this is one of the only Chinese restaurants in the area and therefore it's my local. Food is meh, as are the prices. The only thing that stops it from being is the portion sizes are pretty good. If you need to urgently fix your Chinese craving, stop in. If you want something good, head somewhere else. read more

This is your standard Chinese take-out place. Big portions at a cheap price. Their sauces are good and the quality of the ingredients is OK. My boyfriend says that their lo mein tastes a bit cheap, but I think it tastes quite good, actually. Food is typically ready in 15-20 minutes. Their General Tso's is really good, the perfect amount of spiciness--a lot of places in Orlando seem to completely leave out any hint of spiciness, which is an essential aspect of good General Tso's! read more

I used to go here all the time and it was excellent 4 star last minute take-out Chinese food. Then the owners changed and so did the quality. The portions are always large but the quantity of meat in related meat dishes has changed. Pork fried rice used to be filled with pork. Now its like searching for a needle in a haystack to find a small little morsel of pork. I used to order mostly the same dishes and when I would walk in the old owners would ask me if I wanted the General Tso or the Pork Fried Rice. It was really great. Now, no matter how many times I try this place (which I believe may be no more), it is as if they have never seen my face until that day for the first time. It took a while of searching before I found this place. It looks like its back to hit and miss attempts at finding a suitable replacement. read more

Great, healthy eating go-to for busy working folk! I order a large order of steamed chicken and shrimp with mixed vegetables (no sauce) and natural brown rice. I use drizzle siracha or use chinese mustard for sauce. FRESH, delicious veggies. Feel so clean when I eat this. When I have an especially busy week, I get two orders and eat it for lunch and dinner for 2-3 days! They are so nice - and delivery so fast. Terrible food! I have ordered from here before and it was good. Ordered today and it was horrible. The General Tso chicken was all breading no little to no chicken in all of it. The Sesame chicken was the same and the Boneless spare ribs were so greasy they were inedible. I call and they told me I was rude and a liar. WOW! I threw the food away and will never order here again. Save yourself from disappointment and order from somewhere else! read more

honestly one of the best chinese restaurants I've ever been to. i had my order delivered and it came on time and the food was fresh. the portion sizes were HUGE so I definitely felt like I got my money's worth. the people were nice and efficient. I absolutely loved the orange chicken and the sweet and sour chicken. give this place a try you won't regret it read more
