If I could do 0 stars I would. Due to customer service and food issues I nor my family will ever step foot into the establishment again. I was here with a couple family members that ordered. I didn't order because I was getting food elsewhere but as my family was handed there food the lady that was running the register yelled "what you want" at me as we were gathering our things to leave. I had been in there the entire time with my family and I already stated to her that I wasn't ordering. As I replied that I wasn't ordering she gave me an ugly look. She caught me in a good mood otherwise I wouldn't have kept my cool. I've eaten here twice and both times my husband and I ended up sick. The food portions are smaller than most Chinese restaurants that I've been to. General Tso's: 4/5 This is definitely up there in terms of flavor, portion size and quality! Probably one of the best General Tso's I ever had. I don't recognize anyone! I'm now convinced they changed management and it shows. I have been going to this place for MANY years and while no pizzazz to the actual establishment (at all), the food was always good and people were always friendly. My last two visits have been total chaos to the point customers were complaining and my wait was more than 20 minutes )after calling it in). It's like they didn't have a clue about how to answering the phones and taking more ordered when 6 ppl were waiting to pick up orders. What worse is messing up 2 large fried rice which was the only thing ordered this time (to complement what I was making at home). It looks bad and taste worse. My teens didn't even want it. I went to China Wok a last month and when I saw the cook in the back serving my chicken lo mein with his hands. He was cutting it with no gloves on and the pieces that would fall on the counter he would pick up and throw back in the pot . I felt disgusted and canceled my order and did tell them that him cutting my food up like that with his hands was gross and unprofessional. I will never go there again. read more

Their bank is charging a 4% convenience fee for debit and credit card users. This is a cost of doing business not something to be passed on to customers. My FAVORITE Chinese food in the Tampa Bay/Wesley Chapel/Lutz/wherever area. I've put several friends and coworkers onto this place and they have all loved it. I cannot believe the rating for China Wok is not higher, but I hope this review helps. Portions are great, prices are great, food is EXCELLENT. I usually over order for myself and I can spend about $15-$20 bucks and get three meals out of my order. The food here is THAT GOOD. I grew up on Long Island and when I find a spot I like, I stick to that spot because I know I'll be disappointed elsewhere. The quality here has never waned in the 4ish years I've been a customer, and I've never had an issue with my order. Gave them another try ordered shredded pork with garlic sauce and Jumbo shrimp wrapped in bacon dipped in egg fried on bed of onion. I received hunks of sliced pork in grease with veggies. The shrimp was butterflied layered uncooked bacon with egg over top like a frittata. The bed of onions was no where in sight instead undercooked Chinese veggies. I'm new to the area and was looking for a restaurant to satisfy my ratchet chinese food craving. I was recommended this place when I went to the nearby USF Federal Credit Union. It was busy for a Wednesday night which was a good sign! Just coming from NYC, my New York style chinese food standard was high and being Chinese-American with family who owns restaurants, I am definitely picky. While not the same as NYC, this restaurant had decent food and will probably be our go-to chinese place since it so close to home. Staff was friendly-ish for chinese restaurants. We ordered broccoli in brown sauce combo dinner with pork fried rice and egg roll, young chow fried rice, krab rangoon, extra egg rolls and chicken corn soup. Since our order was over $25, we got a large wonton soup for free. Any of the fried items were fried in a tasty oil, if that makes sense. Soups were hot and had flavor. Young chow fried rice was a little too sticky and lacked some flavor but probably since it's a soy sauce-less fried rice. I just added my own soy sauce at home which I controlled the amount. Broccoli in brown sauce order had a lot of broccoli and the fried rice that came with it had a good roast pork taste. The fried rice that usually comes in lunch and dinner combos are pre-made but this one was good and had peas which my boyfriend enjoyed. Overall, it's a standard Americanized Chinese restaurant and while it may not be comparable to NYC or my family's restaurants, it's definitely a good option for the New Tampa/Wesley Chapel area for solid Chinese food. This one was not even there. This Chinese place is the typical chinese take out kind of place. They have lunch specials that are great prices at $5.35, and combination plates that are a little bit bigger at around 7.35. There are many options as well. What i liked most about this place is that the pineapple chicken actually has veggies, pineapple, and a good amount of chicken, plus a good amount of rice in the $5.35 lunch special. I ordered that for my husband instead of sweet and sour chicken. Every time I order sweet and sour chicken anywhere, it's just plane sauce and chicken. This had more. I ordered the lunch special of shrimp and broccoli. It was good. There were about 4 or 5 pieces of shrimp in there, and the sauce was tasty. We also ordered an order of crab rangoon, which came with 8 of them. A lot for a small price of $4 something, so we were happy with that. They have thai ice tea. I'll pass on that next time. Pretty watered down. This place is good and efficient. Food is tasty. The service is fast, and there seems to be an ongoing pace of customers always coming in. The one thing that I did not like when I come in is that in my opinion, they when they clean, it kind of smells like wet sponge smell. That's all. Been here a few times. Walked In today and asked what is in the hot and sour soup and was told "mushroom carrot and I don't know". To play it safe decided to order a vegetable and tofu soup. Asked them to make it spicy and sour. Waited ten minutes and when I got home to open my meal had a soup loaded with eggs bamboo and some type of white meat. When called to ask what meat is in here I got the response "chicken or something". Best take out in the area. Tried the orange chicken, beef fried rice, and honey chicken. We get the honey chicken and fried twice a week now. The orange chicken was good but the honey chicken was the best. They are always busy so don't expect a lot of attention when you are there. Moving from New Jersey, I've been very picky about the Chinese food around the area. Fortunate for me, I found this place. The staff is VERY friendly and the food is priced reasonably. Compared to other Chinese restaurants around New Tampa and Wesley Chapel; the food here taste so much better. I even have a buddy of mines that drives all the way from Land O Lakes to order food from this spot. The kitchen and dining area is always kept clean and they are very organized. This is my local go to for Chinese food. Get the Singapore rice noodle, it's spicey and delicious. Great quick sevice, you can be in and out in a matter of minutes. I always get the wonton soup here and it's consistently good. read more
