This was their rockfish. It was one of the cheaper items on the menu. It was ok. Nothing Id go back for.

Well went back with my dad for a late lunch. Happy hr was going on so we sat in the bar. Decent looking happy hr menu. Too bad the food wasn't. I ordered the burger with fries. Came out looked good took one bite it was so over cooked and burnt it had that nasty bitter burnt taste. So this will be are last time there. Time to look for a new place to take my dad for lunch. The one positive was are server Vicky W she was very nice and offered to replace my food but I declined. Just return it and take it off the bill. They use to have amazing food here. Not sure if they got new cooks but you can def tell they don't care about the food. Also the he bread was always good here but that was even dry and tasted like it was a week old.

Fresh from the water. Individually cooked, what could be better? Theees the fancy sit down restaurant and the side counter which we opted for. Perfect break. Hot and fresh. Perfect crust. Fast and furious service.

As always, the food was delicious. The oysters in particular were fantastic. So fresh and so juicy. The complimentary bread was also so delicious. We asked the oysters to arrive first and then the calamari, which were both before our main entrees. The server delivered exactly on the order and we really appreciated it. The ambiance easily is one of the most unique views in the city, I would say. Overlooking the rows of harbored boats, there does not exist many restaurants that can rival the ambiance here. Also, pretty much every seat in the house has the same view, so you really can't go wrong if you wanted to impress someone here. We went for lunch, but anytime of the day really works here. I've been here for a quick drinks at the bars too, which is also fun. All around the most well kept secret gem in all of Seattle!

Was craving some fish & chips and randomly stumbled upon this place on our scooter ride! We went for some quick bites and ended up feasting with their HH deal!! They have HH daily from 3 to close in their bar area with some stunning views We ordered almost everything off the menu and each dish was under $15 and so good

Chinook's Seafood Restaurant is a great spot for classic Pacific Northwest seafood with beautiful marina surroundings. We visited the Friday after Thanksgiving and arrived around 5 PM, hoping to beat the crowds--and luckily, we did. The restaurant was still fairly calm before the evening rush arrived. We had hoped to take advantage of Chinook's Happy Hour, but learned that the Happy Hour menu is only available at the bar, not at dining tables. Since we wanted an easy, relaxed conversation, we decided to stay seated at our table instead. Our server, Marilyn A, seemed a bit frazzled, likely because she had several tables to manage at once, but she was clearly trying her best to keep up and serve everyone promptly. We started with fresh Kumamoto and Totten Inlet oysters, which were delicious--clean, briny, and very fresh. For our entrées we ordered the wild salmon burger, salmon and chips, and the classic Caesar salad. All were enjoyable and satisfying choices, especially if you're in the mood for simple, well-prepared seafood. We skipped dessert since we had just returned from Leavenworth and had fresh sugar and gingerbread cookies waiting for us at home--a sweet ending we were already looking forward to. Overall, it was a pleasant early evening seafood dinner and a nice, relaxed way to wrap up the day.

Been awhile since I have visited my friend and I were coming back from Everett and trying to figure out where to catch lunch when she said Chinooks I didn't hesitate to say yes. My go to is usually their Tombo Tuna Salad if it's on the menu for summer , or the blackened fish tacos. I had the tacos today. Their cannery bread is always so delicious comes out immediately warm herbed and buttery delicious. Tacos did not disappoint love the mango salsa. My friend got the halibut fish and chips but opted for a side of vegetable instead of fries. Which was beautiful asparagus yesterday afternoon. We both had a cocktail as it was a Friday that we took off. Staff as always was friendly attentive and always so helpful.

I've been to Chinook's several times and had good experiences, but this most recent time was GREAT! all due to our amazing server, Oliver. Our group of 4 came by boat for a Sunday brunch. We had quite a few modifications and extra requests and Oliver delivered above & beyond with a cheerful and fun attitude! Food and drinks were all great. We hope to be back soon and be served by Oliver again!

Yes, after you enter, there are stairs directly in front of you and a ramp to the left. There’s lots of seating and they will seat you to allow extra space.

Remarkably, it was a side dish--a testament to how Chef Rachael treats every single component on the plate with meticulous care. When community members ask for recommendations that deliver both an exceptional meal and an outstanding beverage program, this is always the first destination I suggest. The menu beautifully balances signature cuts of steak with a thoughtful understanding that other proteins matter, offering expertly prepared chicken, fresh fish, and dedicated vegan main options. I truly believe "the bites" and "the sides" are equally treated as stars, and I always go back for the seasonal salad and crispy potatoes. The beverage program is equally legendary, offering an extraordinary opportunity to try rare whiskies from all over the world and different eras, where every single pour carries its own unique story. When I brought my partner in for his birthday, the owner asked a few questions of his whiskey interests, and customized a flight for him. It is a nicer, upscale restaurant that remarkably retains a deeply grounded community feel, and in my experience local recurring guests are remembered with genuine hospitality.

Bread and butter, bread crust is over cooked and supper dry. Butter dip : the garlic had burned flavor and the vinegar in it was a bit too unpleasant. Pork belly very under cook and chewy. Clam was okay. Water: I took a sip of my cup and instantly spit it back into the cup, taste like fishy or eggy or disgusting unwashed cup ... Main dishes: supper disappointing steak , supper chewy , not pleasant experience at all for a $200+ single order Pork chop, the sauce was interesting but it was also very chewy and nothing special. We spend over $340 and if it was as low as $20 we would never go back and try it again. I strongly recommend you to not go there for food. Very disappointing and low quality food, nothing as it is rated

First off they are not shy about telling you about the spice of the offerings. People who follow them on instagram know that they're pretty clear of the ingredients of their dishes. I often sit at the counter in the La Marea area, they will often state that the dish is spicy. They go one step further with service and ask do you want all the dishes to come out at the same time or as they are finished being prepared. Service is always friendly and helpful. La Marea was my first experience with a more expanded mariscos experience. As a Japanese American I love all the fresh raw fish tostadas especially the Tuna the salsa macho on this dish is delicious deep in flavor and texture but doesn't take away from the fish itself. When the cooler weather came they started adding hot dishes which do not disappoint and live up to the flavor and quality of the rest of the menu. The torta generous and definitely great for someone with a large appetite. The Aguachile and Tostadas are on the lighter side but still filling. I will almost always get a special if it's available. When Oysters were in season they were very popular. It's always fun to see what Bo comes up with for seasonal ingredients. Also don't forget to try their Michelada you buy it on the La Marea side and grab your beer on the Fair Isle side it's usually paired with their corn lager our house la

The flavors are so savory and complex. The tuna is glistening and fresh, lightly sweet, and not too fishy. The salsa macha and tostada shell provide the perfect crunch. The sauce adds creaminess with a lightly smoky aftertaste. Wow. This tostada ain't cheap but I dare say it's worth the $21. I would come and get two next time for sure, no hesitation. We also had the tuna tartare tostada and the chicken Caesar flautas. The tartare was good as well but does not compare to the dry aged tuna tostada. The flautas were surprisingly good, and were great to add some volume to this otherwise light meal while being a cheaper option from the menu. I would absolutely get them again. Great crunchy corn shell, creamy cheesy chicken filling, fresh crunch Caesar dressed romaine on top, with an unexpected kick from some salsa verde. Despite the high quality of this food, including gorgeous plate presentation, this place feels down to earth and casual. The light beers offered by Fair Isle (since La Marea is inside Fair Isle Brewing) were a perfect compliment to the fish. Truly the best seafood meal I've ever had in Seattle.

What I ordered: Wishing to sample a little of everything, we were served, family style, two orders of Bread ($9 each) - buttered with salt and pepper; Fritto Misto ($12) - assorted, lightly fried and pickled vegetables with tarragon aioli; Smashed Burrata ($19) - snap peas, preserved lemon, mint, basil, sherry reduction; Carrot & Tahini Dip ($16) - caramelized garlic, feta, pistachio, crudite; two orders of Heirloom Tomatoes ($21 each) - melon, chevre, crispy quino, soft herbs; Crispy Potatoes ($16) - whipped feta, hot honey, mint; Mushroom Agnolotti ($34) - roasted maitakes, chanterelles, whipped ricotta, miso butter, thyme; Roast Chicken ($42) - chickpea, berbere yogurt, marinated cucumber, mint gremolata. To finish off our meals, we shared the Olive Oil Cake ($14) - basil yogurt cremeux, strawberry gel, and the Chocolate Tiramisu ($16) - mascarpone, rum, amaretto, candied hazelnuts. What I loved: Oh man, every dish was delightful. I found something to savor and repeat in each of the dishes we were served. From the sweetness of the heirloom tomatoes, to the creamy burrata, from the crispy potatoes, to the fresh peas and everything in between. Our least favorite, at the table was the mushroom Angnolotti, inconsistent from bite to bite. The presentation of the Carrot & Tahini dip was a bit haphazard compared to the rest of the dishes served, but the flavor was still lovely. Why I loved it: The service was unparalleled, comfortable yet professional and quick to offer recommendations for our larger party. The decorations and quaint spaces truly welcoming, and the food, excellent. Cost: High ($40+ per person)
