We ordered online at 10:24 and chose the soonest time frame to have them delivered by 11:30 and at 11:30 had not received our delivery so we called to see where our cookies were and they said they would be delivered at an estimated time of 12:30. We left a hefty tip when I ordered which I regret. They offered no guarantee for delivery time and said they had received a lot of deliveries. I could've gone to the store and bought the ingredients and preheated the oven and baked my own cookies by now for a quarter of the price. Granted the sugar cookies are good but not worth this wait. Unfortunately won't be able to order from this location again because we were looking online to place a delivery order and when we tried to call the store with questions it was literally impossible to get ahold of someone. Last night we had dinner at a friends house and they were talking about how they have been wanting to try Chip Cookies but the one time they tried to order was a Sunday and it was closed. I promptly ordered a box of cookies as our dessert. I've never tried Chip Cookies so I followed the prompts on their website when placing my order. As soon as the order was placed I received a confirmation text and they charged my card. I placed the order at 9:15pm for a delivery between 9:30-10pm. I was curious when I never got a text saying they were out for delivery because I had seen a yelp review. When 10:15 rolled around and my cookies were no where to be seen I called the local number listed on Yelp. I gave my order # and was told that they never received my order on their end. Apparently it's a third party handling transactions placed on line and they're still working out the bugs. My biggest complaint is that the website doesn't give you an option to call and place an order by phone. I was told that they could send out a new order and refund half my money. When I asked how long that would take he wasn't very sure so I told him to cancel the order and refund my money. I was surprised that the customer service wasn't handled better considering there are two other companies providing the same service in the valley. While in Boise, I ordered 3 boxes of cookies to take back home to California with me. I ordered through the app, which was recommended on the website. The cookies were not delivered, my credit card was charged and I am still waiting for a response to my many voicemails and emails. I tried to call the night I placed the order after my card was charged and make sure they would be delivered and there was no answer. I am calling the number on the website and sometimes am connected to the voicemail and sometimes not. I have never been able to connect with a real person on the phone. This is very disappointing because I am unable to drive to the store myself to figure this out as I am over 800 miles away and just would like someone to either email or call me back and give me the credit for the $45.19 order that wasn't delivered. read more

But what really bothered me was when I entered the store, not a single employee was wearing gloves. If a company isn't adhering to basic food safety during COVID, when are they? The girl at the register was friendly enough, though she wasn't wearing a mask and went from handling the register to preparing my order without washing her hands. The two guys behind her weren't wearing gloves and were repeatedly touching their faces. I know they're just hourly employees being allowed to do what they want, so the real problem is at the corporate level allowing such things especially at a severe flu season.
