I have seen Chip Cookies all over my social media but never realized that they came to the Bay Area! This was super exciting to see them open up a store right near my home town. I love their concept, and how they display everything in the store. It makes it super easy for a first-time customer to see all the options available and choose from each description. They also sell day old cookies at the counter for $3, and if you microwave them at home, they'll be good as new! I am personally not a big fan of cookies that are over the top, so I do not prefer to customize them but rather keep it simple with whatever mix in's are in the dough. However, I love the concept and that they have this option for those who want to have the option. We tried 2 cookies: The Biscoff Chip was a pleasant surprise--not overly sweet, with a great balance of white chocolate chips, Biscoff cookie pieces, and filling. Plus, it was served warm, which made it even better. The Oreo Dunk Chip was a bit too sweet for my taste, mostly due to the condensed milk and white chocolate drizzle on top. Next time, I'd probably go for the plain version without the toppings. Overall, it was a great first visit, and I'd definitely come back to try more flavors! read more

Chip cookies are delicious! The boneless is my favorite, perfect mix of sweet and salty. Sometimes the employees forget to ask for my phone number for rewards, or the system is down, which is a bummer. So I try to remember to ask to give them my number before it's too late. The place itself is very nice and clean and has a decent amount of space inside. The cashier was very polite and patient with answering my questions and taking my order. But, sadly I'm not a huge sweets eater so I opted only to buy 1 cookie for this first visit. So I bought and tried their cocoa chip, definitely very good and it being still warm was a nice bonus. Who doesn't love a warm cookie straight out of the oven? Chip cookies are offering cookies made to order. I saw a social influencer doing a food review on chip cookies and wanted to try. As I was pulling out of target, there it was. Right across the street. It was a sign to go grab a cookie for sure. I went on their 2nd day of opening. There were two customers ahead of me. The line went by fast. I opt out on their already made cookies from the oven. The original chocolate chip cookie and Biscotti. Cookies are going for $5 and up. It's pretty pricey for a cookie. The size is worth the money. lol The two cookies were tasty, warm and fresh. I did enjoy the biscotti more. Who doesn't like biscotti. I was able to rewarm the cookies in the microwave for a few seconds for dessert and they were still delicious. Will be back again in the future to try other flavors. read more

Needed an impromptu hostess gift so I stopped in at the new cookie place next to the Dublin Safeway. The first thing I noticed was that the front doors were both odd (locked on the left, unlocked on right) and dirty (smudgy handprints on the glass.) I was the only one in the shop on a Saturday afternoon so I told the server that I needed a second because it was my first time in. Instead of taking advantage of the opportunity to give me any sort of introduction/explanation of their offerings, she just asked, "What would you like?" Uhh - I looked at the case and told her I'd take one of each of 6 different flavors. "What toppings would you like?" she inquired. Toppings?! What is this, FroYo? "Hmm, I think I'm good," I stammered. She boxes them up and I realize that the box sizes are for 4 cookies - not wanting to gift someone a half-empty box, I asked her to add two more, which she did. At this point I was kind of flustered and as soon as she rung me up, the server was flustered too. She looked at her screen and asked her colleague, "What does that mean?" The other girl said, "I have no idea, just press enter." Hmm - hopefully their baking skills are better than their business practices. I gladly tapped my card, handing over my $40 for eight cookies and was happy to be leaving. It was okay until I got to my car and actually looked at the boxes -BOTH were dirty with multiple chocolate smudges on each box (see pic.) How am I supposed to hand someone cookies in dirty boxes? That's just gross. The whole experience left me worried for the investors who went to the time and expense to develop a business concept - only to leave it in the hands of obviously under trained, inexperienced staffers? It's sad. I wish i hadn't gone in there and had purchased a dessert from a more professional establishment. read more

The Churro cookie was warm but unfortunately the middle was raw and so gooey that I had to toss. The other cookies were tasty. Afternoon visit around the afternoon in a spring break on a Monday 4.7.25. This place was has only been literally open for only a few days. It's in the same center as Safeway with a gas station in Dublin near the 680 overpass. The parking lot is tricky as one entrance toward the north side is no entry and one way only . I can only imagine how busy it will get on weekends. The parking situation can be an issue if you park at Safeway you should be ok. The process is real simple here. The lady explained everything . There are pics of everything on the menu . I ordered one chocolate cookie with vanilla ice cream with mini m&ms. Chip cookies is smaller than Crumbles and is situated on the end of the row of stores. I like the cleanliness factor and better customer service . Much less sugar than Crumbles. They do have an app which I still haven't downloaded but will. The cookie is thicker and about same size and is given in a small clear plastic container perfect for to go or eating in the car. Welcome addition to Dublin there another one in Walnut Creek also. They have an ice cream sandwiches and BJ 's brew house Pizookie type cookie concoction too! I love this concept. Perfect for dessert after a spicy dinner or something . That's when I'll probably get the craving or on a hot day especially. read more

This just opened in Dublin and it's a great place to go. Open until midnight. Highly recommended for a late night craving. Cookies are delicious. I've been to the Walnut Creek location and personally I like the Walnut Creek location a little bit more. They do make everything on the spot but the sugar cookie with the confetti that I got this time here was already premade and it wasn't warm. All the cookies I got from Walnut Creek were very warm and gooey the ones here were OK. They weren't very warm or hot despite a lot of food traffic. I'm disappointed with the Dubai cookie . It was dry , hard and crunchy drenched in chocolate and pistachio sauce. The pro is the place looked clean , bright nice area and there was a lot of kenafi but the pistachio cream is tasteless and rich tasty chocolate sauce I had asked the girl for the Dubai cookie. Before I had asked her if I can put condensed milk and the pistachio cream , she went to the oven and went to the back . So, I couldn't get a chance to ask her . I was thinking you can customize the cookies as I was reading the menu . She arrived with the box and she then added the chocolate sauce . She then asked do you want anything else ? I thought in my mind you should of asked me in the beginning. When I opened the box it was drenched with chocolate and the pistachio cream. I didn't realize it was drenched in sauce until I went to the car . It did not look like the advertised cookie on social media . The chocolate flavor is overpowering due to the overwhelming of chocolate & pistachio cream sauce . The place looks clean . The service could be better , too. I felt I was rushed. She rang my order & I signed it and I said thank you . She said bye but she was already in the back of the store . I was still putting my number in for the points. Lol I payed $6.56 for the cookie. I can by pass the cookie drenched in sauce but the cookie is dry , hard and crunchy on top of the poor customer service didn't leave me for wanting to try the other cookies .
