The portion of chips was so minuscule that I was very grateful that my daughter talked me out of ordering the extra queso I wanted. When we ordered from the OTHER Mexican restaurant, they always include a paper bag of warm chips. FREE!! You only pay for the queso. I ordered the salad and there are huge pieces of lettuce. The core of the head of lettuce was literally sliced up and dumped into my salad. Why?? Skip the lettuce...don't ruin it!!! I ordered the honey chicken for my protein. If you can't do spice, skip this. WAY too spicy for me!!! We had never tried Chipotle before. I promise...we never will again!! I consider Taco Bell the same as McDonald's. I would definitely order from Taco Bell before I would do this again. Never EVER!! I also ordered a burrito. Just tried it. Chipotle is one of my go to places for lunch. It is fast food, but for fast food it is relatively healthy and they can get you in and out in a relatively fast manner. My only complaint with this location is that they do not have wi-fi (really?). read more

Visited on August 28th 2025. They were out of almost everything and extremely unapologetic about it. My burrito and my husband was filled with brown guacamole and because they didn't have the plastic lids for the queso, my chips were covered in it when I got home. We threw our food away. I called the store seeking a refund and it went straight to their customer service center. They offered me one, said it would come to my email. I waited 48 hours and never got it. So, I call back. The second person I speak with says, I can only offer you a coupon. I told her since I was offered a refund I would appreciate it if they would stick to their word and give me what we asked for. She said, no so we asked for a supervisor. We waited 48 hours for that returned call. We didn't get one. So we made a third phone call. We spoke with a lady named Amanda. She was the first to seem sincere in her apology, reassured us we would receive our refund and that it would be sent to our email. Again, we got absolutely no response and no refund. The unprofessionalism of Chipotle in Albany Georgia is enough for me to never step foot into one for a very long time. This however was the icing on the cake. No wonder their management dosent care that their store isn't properly stocked or had edible food! Their customer service center is just as incompetent and since you can't get anyone from the actual store on the phone, how can you express your concerns to the actual general manager of the store so it can be fixed? $35 on some queso and two burritos is absolutely ridiculous for food that I had to throw out, but offering me a refund and then refusing to do so? We went in right at 11am for lunch and my dad and I noticed how dirty the dining area was. And it clicked when we were eating that the restaurant just opened.... So why is it so dirty? It's not like there have been people eating inside all day? Listen, if your dining area floor, tables, and the glass is dirty.. it starts to make people question how sanitary the food is. Everytime my friends and I want to eat at chipotle the black manager is always rude!! They also are never stocked, always say they dont have vinaigrette, but tge mixture is sitting out on the counter. Also their chips ar always stale and salty. read more

Normally the meals at Chipotle are spot on. Today, however, this location missed the spot by a mile. My wife and I both had the chicken, tacos and burrito bowl, and the chicken was way over salted. Horrible Customer Service. I ordered food through a delivery service, which was great. However, Chipotle was incompetent unable to get an order correct with no customers even the store. I had to drive there to return my food only to be met with an unprofessional manager. She wouldn't give me money back for the food or for the fee I had to pay the delivery company. My money was wasted as I ended up driving to the restaurant. They did remake my food but the rice was not cooked thoroughly. I'm seeing a pattern with restaurants in this city for not being able to get orders right. I don't know if it's the school system producing incompetent people or what. Meat was very fatty. Salsas were so spicy two of the three people who got food couldn't eat the meal. It was a takeout order for a family an hour away so taking it back wasn't an option. We have been eating Chipotle and the same salsa since inception all over the place in many towns. This was the worst. The guacamole was brown before we got our meals as well. So my family and I were excited to see what all the hype was about at the Chipotle Mexican restaurant! We went in and I ordered a cheese quesadilla kids meal for my toddler and a bowl to go for myself. Once we left and went through the bag I was shocked to find out that a kids meal only came with the quesadilla and nothing else! No drink. No chips. No salsa. No nothing! My kid was definitely still hungry after eating the bite sized quesadilla! Good thing o had ordered chips and quest- which by the way, the chips were half stale and the queso was just plain bad! Their queso was equivalent to my bad batch at home that I usually end up throwing out; the texture was just bad! I love and have always loved Chipole. I moved from Nashville,TN to Albany, GA in 2015. I used to eat it all the time while living in Tennessee. When I moved and saw that there was no Chipotle I was sooo sad I swear! Albany doesn't have many "main stream" restaurants due to its location. Then one day...I seen it being built and I literally screamed like a child on a playground! I have been to the Chipotle here many MANY times and every time I go the food is always fresh, the employees are very nice and the restaurant is very clean and neat. This chipotle is just like the others but a little bigger than some of the others from southwest GA down to Destin FL. The service is a bit slow but the wait is worth it, the food is . It is also in a very growing area with many great restaurants nearby. read more
