I would characterize this location as a littlebless than average. I ordered a steak bowl that included black beans, brown rice, tomatoes, lettuce, and sour cream. In thought that the bowl itself was prepared perfectly, and the ingredients tasted fresh and delicious. What I didn't care for is the actual ambiance of the restaurant. Most of the tables came with those high barstools which are really tacky and uncomfortable to say the least. I believe there are two regular tables with normal chairs. I'm not sure if their goal is to not have customers sit there very long, or if they were attempting to make a decorating statement. Also today when I came in, the music was at 110% and it was so annoying. I think they blast the music for the comfort of their employees, and not so much about their paying customers. I would not make it a point to re-visit this store. read more

Well above-average Chipotle in a great location. My son and I dropped through in between him getting off school for a half day and getting hair cuts at Bethesda Metro Hair a few stores over. I generally like chipotle, but this one was better than most. The people were friendly and engaged, the food was really good and the space was clean, bright and a bit different. My son got steak tacos with cheese, which is what he normally gets. This time because it was fresh and fast (vs. when we usually take it out), he got to make his own tacos and eat them, which he both really enjoyed and made my life easier. I got an enormous chicken burrito with guacamole and it was fantastic. None of it was hard, or chewy or too cold, which sometimes happens at chipotles that aren't paying attention. Instead the guacamole was creamy, the chicken was well-spiced and the the whole thing was warm and delicious. read more

It can get busy during lunchtime, but overall the line moves pretty fast. Food quality is consistent and portion sizes are good too. No complaints on my end - something I've noticed though is that it's better to even go in person and order it than doing a mobile order and pickup which takes longer since they have so many mobile orders. read more

Food always tastes good however it is annoying when ordering ahead on the app and still have to wait in line. They don't put orders out on the shelf anymore. What is the point of ordering ahead of instill have to wait for it. And also when wrapping a burrito several staff need dmoree practice because mine fall apart half the time. The food portions we're so incredibly bad when I asked for an extra scoop after receiving less than a half scoop I was denied. Out of pure shock after never experiencing this before at a chipotle I simply walked away from the counter without paying. I made a promise to myself that I would never step foot in this chipotle again. In addition to this I have a separate complaint. I once witnessed a rodent of some kind running through the store instilling chaos. I know I'm a stranger but please consider another option when deciding where to get food!!! read more

Walked in and walked right back out when I saw team members eating the food out of the food that the they are serving to customers. You shouldn't be eating in the food prep area anyway but right out of the customers food!? I've frequented this location in the past but never again. With Chipotles history of food poisoning this isn't a good look and this location and the other location on Willard will be the next location to have a breakout I'm sure. read more

I'd give 0 if it were an option. The woman that took our order didn't listen, I only wanted beans on 1 taco, she put it on both then trashed both tacos when I said only 1. She then didn't offer meat (I've never been to a chipotle before), and pretty much threw our food to the next person. Worst place ever. read more

I live less than a mile from this location so I've been overly patient because of proximity convenience. Today I ordered pickup online instead of delivery because I've had to leave home to return food that wasn't accurate when I did have it delivered. They still got my order today. Got home and they left out two sides of rice. I went back and politely asked for a new, correct order instead of accepting 2 sides of rice because the food had gotten cold by that time. My taco orders were skimpy so I asked for the manager. The manager looked at my (barely there) tacos and told me the portions I was served were standard instead of offering to adjust my order. I asked for my money back and let him know that his resistance to correct my order was enough for me not to ever return. read more

This location is HORRIBLE. After the 5th bad experience, we need to finally share. Today, it was the usual negative performance: my husband placed an order online. I picked it up and drove the orders to my son who was taking class. I did not stay but took mine to another location... looking forward to finally eating a meal. No dinner the night before and no breakfast. I opened mine up to find that ... I thought ... lids were just switched... it looked like my son's.... It wasn't. By now it was 2:00. I drive back to my son's school to switch lunches. Traveled away with mine... I looked at the name on the lid... "Luke." Who is Luke?! I have a nephew in IN...but he didn't order Chipotle with us from MD. Hmmmm... not good. My son finished school and did not eat. We headed over to explain. We were nice about it. NO APOLOGY. For a moment I thought the restaurant wasn't going to do anything about it at all... WHAT?!!! Ridiculous!!! I grew up in the USA under this motto: The customer is ALWAYS right. But now... because we are not that good anymore... well. Chipotle Bethesda on Georgetown Pike did BEGRUDGINGLY replace the order of which they SERIOUSLY botched. Oh... and the portion was half of what I usually get which is consistent with other of these reviews. I think it's safe to say that we don't recommend this place. I love Chipotle's however this time I decided to order online through Uber Eats . I had to call Chipotle's to tell them how I wanted my rice bowl I wanted all my toppings on the side the man who answered the phone said ok no problem I got you. Well all my toppings was on top of my food only the brown old looking guacamole was on the side. How could they give anyone rotten guacamole though???? It's chipotle so you probably already know. For this location, my change has been wrong twice but I sometimes do fancy math with my coins so I can get a quarter. I also got the app because I thought I might be eating here more frequently and, I know I should have figured this out on my own but, when I showed promotions that I was supposed to get, the people working there didn't understand and burned my freebies with nothing received. Chipotle is a good restaurant to eat at every once in a while. The food is good, I recommend to get a chicken casadia. Kind of pricey, but decent quality. I like to order take out and haven't experienced the service but I can only imagine it is good. The placed looked nice and appealing. I will keep on going to Chipotle. read more

Am I the only one who rates Chipotle's by how heavy handed they are with the scooping of ingredients? I can't be.... right? Ya know... I'm honestly a bit surprised how generous they were considering this is the Walter Johnson Chipotle. At all hours of the day you can find teenagers from the local highschool here. So many young whippersnappers. But during lunch time at high school on the weekday: as the New Yorkers say " Fugghedaboutit." To be clear... if I had gone to Walter Johnson, I'd be at this Chipotle like every day. We went to Taco Bell everyday... that's where our bar was (And we LOVED it.) I went in the other night pretty late as I hadn't eaten dinner and picked up a bowl. Scoops were pretty solid. Nice amount of chicken, nice amount of salsa. Could have used a bit more guac... but of course I could have used a bit more guac. My bowl always comes out so serious at most Chipotles. T once accused me of min-maxing the Chipotle bowl. Listen... jealousy takes all forms; I get it. Here's what I do. Order a salad Ask for rice on top of the salad though. *Gotta build that base* Ask for a little of both types of beans ( they'll always give you lots of both... just accept it... and eat your protein) I do chicken usually. Then ask for the regular salsa AND the corn salsa. And sometimes... just sometimes I ask for a side of pico as well. Cause it's delish! No sour cream or cheese. It's empty calories. You don't taste the cheese. The cheese is not flavorful enough to come through. And the sour cream, they always put too much on. Listen, nobody needs a 1/4 cup of sour cream on their chipotle bowl. That's why it's listed on the menu as like a 300 calorie addition. There should be about 2 tbsps of scour cream on my bowl. But because their spoon is too big, it just drowns the bowl. You know you agree. I got it on the side one time, and just don't think it adds that much. I think it actually detracts. Ok, so always get guac. Cause you're a human being. and then top that B with lettuce and you have a LARGE and in CHARGE dinner and a half if you have any will power. Oh always: I ask for the salad dressing, which they 100 percent of the time never remember to give you (I'm fairly certain) at any Chipotle I've ever been too. It's almost like a secret menu item. Or, they look at the monstrosity that I created and think to themselves... well there's no way this could be a salad... The salad dressing is not good for you... but it's also SUPER delicious. This location can get really busy during lunchtime! Full of students from Walter Johnson HS during the weekdays, workers from all of the area near Old Georgetown Rd. Gotta pick a time where it's less crowded if you don't want to wait 20-30 minutes to grab some food on a weekday! Service can be pretty slow if there are a lot of people in line and food orders can be mistaken. Otherwise, quality of food at Chipotle is alright, depending on location and customer service. read more

The professionalism ( or lack of) and attitude of the young women here is very problematic. And when you try to address something, they ignore you or " no habla Español". The men are the only ones who act like they are at work. Today in picking up an order, I saw they tape the receipt to the garbage and then attach it back to bag with food. It's one if few fast food nearby, hence a lot if service, but get women with better attitudes and who know sanitation and hygiene. read more

They will lie to you to get you out of the door. But their flavors are on point. Also STOP OVER PREPARING MEAT. This was taken from my visit to the store on June 27th...guy in the back did not care for any food safety and kept cooking without a mask on! Tried to submit to Chipotle directly and they did not even respond. Last night I ordered food and we all know that guacamole is extra and I didn't have any on my order which is really annoying, I also ordered chips and queso and what do you know, no chips in my order. and then tonight I decide to just give it a shot and order from them again (my mistake) and the 2 quesos I ordered had the containers half full and, once again, no guacamole, this is pretty ridiculous to be paying all this extra money for queso and guacamole, and then they just leave it out, never going there again. read more
