After ordering 2 chicken bowls and side of chips through the chipotle app for delivery, I received a bag with my name and order on it however inside the bag was the wrong order with the wrong name on it. I called the store to get this sorted out. The gal on the phone quickly knew exactly what I was talking about because she responded with asking about the order I received. She already knew. I was told I have to come in to get refunded. I may have got a little rude when I explained "if I pay a fee for it to be delivered, I'm not driving to the store for you guys to make it right when you're aware you guys screwed up" then the employee hung up on me for cussing.. fair enough. I'd probably do the same thing. When I called back and asked what needs to be done to make this right. She again explained I must drive to the store. I said I'm not doing that and asked if there is a manager I can call. She said she was the manager. I said "okay, who is the general manager I can call?" She said "I am the general manager?" I then said okay well I'd like to call cooperate.. may I have you name so I can explain the general manager of this chipotle won't help me properly" she said "no I don't have to tell you my name." Well. I have already called the customer service line and sorted this out with a complaint about the general manager of this location. I drove to both Chipotle locations on veterans Parkway today and had to walk out of each of them. First of all when you walk in it looks like they're just about to close. They don't have any food in the trays so they have to run off somewhere else to get the rice and when you come in, they don't even acknowledge you're there. They just continue to do whatever they're doing be talking to someone in the back or whatever. I don't know if both of these locations in Bloomington normal on veterans Parkway have the same ownership, but whoever owns them needs to check on them because they are the shittiest chipotle restaurants I've ever been in. Insane that this is acceptable order to send out. I ordered a Carne Asada bowl with fajita veggies, white rice, and cheese. This is the bowl un-touched. I undstand there arent a whole lot of things, but it has never looked like this. They gave me exactly 8 pieces of regular steak, even though my friend paid extra for the carne asada, did not include the veggies and didnt refund for the veggies as well as didnt ask if we wanted these substitutions or changes for our order. $13 for this? My friends bowl was like a soup from all the sour cream poured onto hers. Unacceptable and please do better. This is highway robbery. Review Visit: May 23rd, 2012 A delicious yet unmemorable stop. Chipotle is one of those restaurants that I saw advertised everywhere but had none around me to try. Luckily, the Bloomington/Normal area has a lot of these for my eventual sampling. Matt and I took advantage of that while we were in Bloomington for the day. We stopped in for a quick late lunch as we spent the afternoon doing our usual exploring. I got the vibe that Chipotle is similiar to Q'doba when we entered. It's one of those places where you can order a menu item and customize it to your liking. Matt and I got the standard burrito and customized it to our tastes. I don't remember how I tweaked mine but I remember it being a pretty good burrito. Nothing to write home about but one that I felt was worth my money and one that filled me up and made the drive home slightly uncomfortable as my body asked, "why did you do this to us!". I got a steak burrito chips and queso and I gotta say perhaps the best steak I've had from chipotle and even my home chipotle. Walked in and was immediately greeted and portions were honestly more than expected and over all this location off veterans parkway in Bloomington was spotless very impressed with how tight of a ship they run. I received everything I ordered but will note a couple of issues - the fajita veggies were raw, not al dente, but veggie tray raw. The small serving of guacamole on my bowl also was really one piece of hard avocado. Service was friendly, and I got enough rice to feed a family of eight. read more

Was excited to try the brisket today. Ordered for a 12:00 pickup an hour and a half in advance. I get there 11:59 and my order is ready to go. However when i open the bag, I got a burrito and I thought I ordered a bowl. Turns out I ordered a burrito, which is fine... but then I get home and open it up and the burrito is freaking soggy, and the contents inside are cold!!! Not only that but for the $15 I paid I was expecting to get my money's worth of brisket and there is barely any meat in there to begin with. I am so disappointed Chipotle this is disgusting. Laughably small portion sizes even when you ask for double, I feel like an idiot having to ask for triple or even quadruple rice just to get enough. I visited Chipotle its opening night - Friday, November 30th around 8pm. I came in expecting an experience similar to Qdoba and from what I could see, I was correct. The menu, seating, and atmosphere are all very similar. What surprised me, and set Chipotle apart from Qdoba, was their "naturally raised" meat - free of antibiotics and humanely raised. I noticed the music once I had already started in on my burrito. They played a large variety and there was not anything I disliked listening to (they even played country I didn't mind. Imagine that!) It was a nice change from all the over-played music I hear everywhere else. I ordered the Chicken burrito with black beans, corn salsa, cheese and sour cream. It was spicier than Qdoba, but not overpowering. I'd call it pleasantly spicy - it leaves you with a nice after-burn but not so much that you constantly want something to drink. They know how to wrap burritos there, too; Mine didn't fall apart as soon as it was taken out of the foil. Overall, I'd say Chipotle is slightly better tasting than Qdoba. I support their company philosophy, as well, and I will be going back in the near future. I hope they live up to the initial impression they left me with. read more

I eat here often. The place is always very busy. They do an excellent job keeping the line moving. Even when the line is backed up to the door, i never have to wait long to get all the way through the line to get my food. Food is always great. I do wish they had queso like Qdoba though! read more

My wife and I love this place. Good food and it's gluten free (which is near and dear to this gluten intolerant's heart). The steak and chicken selections are definitively spicier than it's restaurant sibling, Qdoba. I usually get the pulled pork which is a bit more bland, but it's gluten free. I make up for that blandness by adding their medium salsa. If I were to go back to the steak and chicken, I'd stick with the mild salsa. read more

As one of 3 Chipotles in the area, this is a pretty good one. On this occasion, they did seem understaffed with only 1 person working the entire food line. I was in no rush so it wasn't a big deal however I could see how customers may get annoyed. They also seemed pretty light with the toppings on this occasion as well (I'm not talking about the meat, that is extra $). Typically my burrito bowl is pretty full with all the ingredients. Do not order ahead! This is the third time it has happened...every Tuesday I order chipotle for lunch and this is the third time I ordered online once for pickup and the order had only the bowl, no chips, no quest cheese. Then ordering for delivery the food got cancelled twice and I was still charged. That happened twice. Once the manager made my order and let me pick it up but that was such a hassle, I literally had to tell him that he should give me my food because he took my money- he tried to say that grubhub or the delivery service has the money but I told him, I went to chipotle app to order. I did not order from grub hub so he can get his money back from them, I am the customer and this should not be my problem. So this time I'm just done with chipotle, sad because the food is pretty good. But I can't keep spending my money and not eating. read more

Both the Chipotle in Normal on College Avenue and Bloomington are ridiculous. I spend about 100 dollars a month on Chipotle. Today, online orders only in Normal but the online app wouldn't allow you to add bowls for pick up at that location. Five employees there but still wouldn't take the order at the counter and suggested I eat a burrito instead. Nope. Headed to Bloomington where other than exact cash or debit only they were taking counter orders. Their online ordering was turned off but then when I asked for two bag of chips they said no, they are for online orders only. I politely explained it was off and asked if I could purchase them as it wasn't on me I couldn't follow their rules. The agreement was to give me one bag but rudely. I will now only go to the last Chipotle in our town and I will spend the day feeling very confused as to why no one wants to work in this country and then those who do often give less than stellar customer service. ‍ read more
