Food, we used to go to chipotle on a regular basis, but then I noticed their chicken that I get was super spicy hot on my tongue burnt my lips. It was over the hill spicy so we stopped going for a while for at least 4 months, , so I said let's try chipotle again maybe they've changed we got it yesterday. I could hardly eat four bites. We have always been a big fan of Chipotle, but this specific location is just always a miss. It's Russian roulette if you're gonna have major tummy issues from the meal which is a whole issue on its own...but today has to be the worst experience I've ever had there. I ordered a cheese quesadilla which on the app specifically says it comes with guac...so included with no extra fee right? WRONG. I also ordered kids cheese quesadilla with guac which the app shows is $4.95 as opposed to the $4.40 for just cheese. Ok fine...when I got to the register they charged me $2.75 TWICE for the "extra guac". When I asked about it, she said oh, well we have always done it this way and there is a specific button to press for a quesadilla with no protein so that's what we do and add the extra guac price. I said whatever and just paid and walked out. But then I looked in the app where it specifically is noted that a cheese quesadilla INCLUDES guac. So I walked back in to the store and spoke with a woman who kept saying "well that's how we always do it" ok but just because that's how you're doing it, it doesn't make it right. But also I'm literally showing you on the app the blurb that says guac included...as a person who has worked in service pretty much my whole life...that was NOT how to handle this situation. Some of the worst service/food I have had from this location. I was in line to get a chicken salad bowl, when someone pulled the chicken from the line with no replacement. They had no more chicken. Been coming to this chipotle for a while and today I was reminded why I go here. Convenience. Yep. The chipotlane. Mobile order real quick and drive through. I come here in a pinch. This place is consistent. And not in the good way. You could have a decent meal one day and a not so decent the other. Now, I have never thrown the food out because it's disgusting. No, it still tastes good. But it's just not really made well or with care. Take a good look at the chicken bowl I just got. Food juice on one side of the bowl as if the food was dumped in there with no care. (It's not from being tilted to one side during the car ride home I assure you). Lettuce was thrown in and sealed while lettuce shards were still hanging and dangling from the side. Btw, I'm the picture it looks like a lot of lettuce. It's really not. Honestly for a chain restaurant I think Chipotle is pretty damn good. The options, flavors and prices are all decent. We always order online and pickup and the drive through. We have had 2 issues in the last few years of going there and each time I made comments when asked how the service was. I was refunded my money on both occasions which I did not ask for. Want to start by saying i never leave reviews.... I read them but rarely do i leave one myself. This time i just can't pass it up. We were desperate for lunch and wanted something that wasn't a burger (Bonney lakes fast food scene is subpar). Saw chipotle and decided to stop in; the experience is usually pleasant and the food is fresh. I will admit i did see the 1.5 star rating..... but pregnancy cravings are one of their own. Anyway, we went in reluctantly...... let's just say it definitely deserves its 1.5 stars. I've been in public restrooms cleaner than this place was. The kid that made my burrito was nice but i could tell he was embarrassed as he saw me notice how dirty the place was. Food scraps (new and crusted) litter every countertop like confetti, like it hasn't been cleaned in months. Three teens in the back chatting as the other three crew members tried to manage the front. Employees were very friendly, but this location needs further training/someone there to support them. The woman was looking around for help because she was low on things, but instead of replenishing them, I was given about 6 pinto beans. This seems to be a common complaint, so it's shocking that management has seemingly done nothing to address this issue. I hope the employees here can get the training and support from management that is needed. First let me say, I eat a LOT of Chipotle (and Qdoba), these are one of the best restaurants for keto friendly meals. My go to order is the salad with steak, no rice, no beans and all the fixings. I don't usually order the corn salsa due to the carbs, but today I made a exception. I asked for extra lettuce since I wasn't getting rice and beans, this is almost always granted with a smile...not today! I don't feel like the server has ever heard of a request before due to the almost audible eye roll. The steak portion was a bit on the level spoonful, instead of a heaping spoonful of meat. Made me sad. I HATE being charged for every little add on. Enough said. All the fixings, that were free, topped my salad, now for the eating. Outside seating was nice despite the smoky air due to the recent fires. Holy moly! Did she add water to the salad when I wasn't looking? It was more soup-like than a salad. I appreciate washing the lettuce, but let it drain, don't let it soak in water until serving it (or at least the what it felt like). The last few bites were horrible due to the liquid at the bottom of the bowl. I'm sorry for no pics. Ugh, at least Qdoba doesn't charge me for guacamole and queso.
