We love this place so much. The staff is amazing, the food is delicious, the service is so quick, and the food is just as good when you get it to go. As a vegan, I've tried everything on the vegetarian menu--ordered without dairy. I love it all. My favorite la are the fajitas and the veggie burrito. My husband loves the macho burrito with chile Colorado. But he's also enjoyed everything he's tried here. The chips and salsa are delicious, and he loves the aqua de Jamaica. When I opened the door and approached the place, they seemed a little small, but it was very cozy very authentic, and the lady was very kind. My order was sitting, right there was a to go order. Only thing was that I didn't like was there was no warming. It was just sitting there on the table usually people places have it being kept warm is which what I thought I would've been however, the food was not cold so it must've just came out. I've got the chicken taquitos and they were delicious. Definitely would order them again. It was a perfect amount for me for lunch. I didn't purchase the drink because they were pretty expensive. Solid and reliable Mexican food, have not had a bad meal in 5 years of dining here! My fave is the Chilaquiles!! Staff is always friendly and service is quick and friendly. Casual and family friendly, we love this little spot. One note, the Carne Asada I can only eat though if ordered as part of a plate where you get a full piece - it comes charred beautifully and super delicious - but if in tacos or something else, I always get pieces that are a lot of fatty texture and not pleasant to eat, so I opt to go with Chicken, Shredded Beef or Veggie in those situations. Best mexican food in Bonney Lake. This has been our go to mexican restaurant since moving here 3 years ago from Sacramento.

This was our 2nd time giving them an opportunity. The 1st wasn't great but heard they had a different owner and wanted to give them a 2nd chance. The service was incredibly slow. They didn't even ask us for beverages, which they were busy so ok. The food took forever to come out. Just reviewing the food alone, it was not great, the ground beef had a pretty bad taste. I thought maybe it was me so my husband and daughter tried and said it tasted very off. My husband's fajita salad was super watery, so much so there was a large puddle on his plate. My daughter had a chicken macho burrito she said it was pretty good lots of chicken. It's pretty cheap all three of us was around 60.00. No one ever came for us to pay so I had to go find someone over by the kitchen. Take aways, mediocre food at best, pretty cheap, friendly staff. read more

On Wednesday May 20th about 430pm a friend and I decided to have an early dinner, I ordered the two chimichangas meal, however when it came out in had just one, I asked politely it said two on the menu, she said no, it's just one sorry, well it did say two, but she was a adamant it said one, as we continued eating she went to another server they looked in the menu, continued talking then sat down removing that page and crossing out the two, while the food wasn't bad, all she had to say was oh I am sorry , well changed that, or that's a mistake, but instead lied about what it said, I hate that, they were then going thru all the menus in plain site and changing them. I don't understand why people have to lie. I would love a call or explanation about this, again the food wasn't ok, but please don't lie to me, and then to fix it literally right in front of us as if we didn't know what you were doing.?? Will not be eating there again. All she needed to say when I ordered was, just so you know that's only one, it's a mistake on the menu and I would have ordered different. My son and I stopped here for a quick bite on the way home from Enumclaw because he was craving nachos. This was my second time here and It was just a great as I remember. The service was friendly and quick even with 2 other large parties in the restaurant. We both ordered the super nachos, mind with shredded beef and he ordered ground beef. We had take-out from this restaurant a few times last summer. The food is really good! They have a senior menu, which is appreciated by the people with smaller appetites. We went for our first dining-in experience the other night. The food, once again, was very good. They serve chips and salsa before the meal. My husband and I were torn between 3 and 4 stars, due to the fact that some things were good, but the simple ones were not. We ordered an horchata, which was very cinnamon-y but very watered down. We ordered the dinner combinations with mine being a cheese enchilada and a pork one, and his being mole. My enchiladas were actually tasty, and I really enjoyed the rice and beans. My husband's Mike was Smokey and rich, and he wasn't unhappy with it. Our only issues were the horchata, and the fact that we ordered a side of guacamole, and were brought a tiny ice cream scoop's worth of guacamole mix. First time visiting for inside dining. Service was awesome. Very special and simple lady served us. Got smiles as we walked in. There is now a senior menu for simple easy going eaters like me. I ordered my favorite beef burrito and I have special directions on how I like it fixed. They followed my request and it was nice to have a quiet dinner away from the paws. It's self seating, which is nice because we were able to grab a booth. We were immediately greeted by our server who gave us chips and salsa right away. Their rice and beans of course were adequate although it's a very very small plate for eight dollars I felt that it was not worth that price at all and honestly could've eaten off my granddaughters plates cause they didn't eat there's lol. I'll admit up front, since coming here a little over two years ago, I fast became a regular here! This review would be the same from day one to now. The food here is good, I've had a wide variety of the menu but stick to the things I like to eat and stay away from foods I don't like. Not that they are bad here, it's that I'm a picky eater and only like certain things. My go to favorites are the Chicken Tortilla soup (minus avocado), steak and chicken fajitas, and pollo la crema (no mushrooms). Not enough guacamole or sour cream? Ask for more. Not everyone uses it and easily forget to say no. So why give out a big portion and waste it? Bad or stale chips? Ask for a new basket, your server doesn't bite when you're polite and courteous to them. The staff, I'll try and be brief. From day one, they've been excellent except for one mishap in all my visits (it happened when the family went out of town and left the wrong people in charge). Stuff happens that you can't always control and you learn from your mistakes and move on. Every single person I've dealt with has been a pleasure. I can't play favorites so I'll just say that when there's time, we have great conversations and that's important to me. I know people and see reviews from others that have one bad experience and call it quits. Are you always on your "A" game, perfect and never make a mistake or have a bad day? No, you're not. I have ordered their street tacos, and it is a little more expensive than order quick bite and food trucks selling tacos, but I guess this is a restaurant. The first time I ordered the tacos, they included extra bowls of cilantro, onions, and lime, but the second time I ordered, they didn't, so I'm not sure which one is standard practice. I also ordered their pozole soup. It had great seasoning and flavored well. The meat was cooked really well as it was falling off the bone. I wished it was spicer though. read more
