Made a quick stop here while charging my car at the nearby Electrify America station. It wasn't super busy when we came, so order was fairly quick and easy. I got to salad bowl with chicken, pico, sour cream, and half and half rice. I think they use to give salad dressing, but it looks like they don't do that anymore, or maybe they forgot. My bowl was a little under $11, and was pretty filling. I split it with another person, so we had it as a snack to hold us over until we got back home from our road trip. I had never felt so uncomfortable entering a restaurant. I went to this Chipotle with my son and, from the moment we crossed the door, an employee named Victoria started laughing while talking to another colleague. His attitude was so obvious that it made me feel humiliated and completely uncomfortable. It is unacceptable for someone who works in customer service to make customers feel judged or ridiculed. No matter who enters through that door, everyone deserves to be treated with respect and professionalism. Victoria's attitude completely ruined our visit. I never expected to receive such treatment in front of my son. I sincerely hope that management will take action on the matter, because no one should leave a restaurant feeling this way. This location is struggling! I had stopped here on my way to The dodger clubhouse before the closed at 8pm on a weekday. Chipotles hours listed they don't close til 10, great. I come back and they're slammed and it's started to rain so I go back to my car and place my order. The app tells me 810 my order will be ready - 2 kids meals and 2 burrito bowls. Was excited that the carne asada was back on the menu. I did not get back to my car until 830 with my completed order! I was there so long that I was able to stand in line again and try to place my order with the person at the walk up side but was told since I place my order on the app, I needed to wait for the to get to my order. Other people were sitting around waiting for their to go orders as well. When the guy was prepping my order, he approached me and asked if brown rice was ok to sub because after 8pm they don't make more rice. I said sure, fine I just want to leave. When he did finish my food, I asked him where his manager was and he said in the back. During the busiest time the manager is in the back hmm and I told him you guys are really backed up huh and he said yes someone called out and we didn't have enough coverage during our shift change. So that tells me the manager should be helping pick up the slack right? I've read the other reviews and I'm not impressed with this location. When I got home and opened up the good, I found that one of my bowls was a lot heavier than the other. They both had rice and beans and toppings but the only difference was one had lettuce. That doesn't make it that much heavier. I paid $16 each one and they weren't even properly made! Overall it was clean and tidy except for the counter where the food prep was taking place. But the employees shouldn't have to be scrambling and should be better prepared for these kind of rushes. This comes from better management planning. As an owner of a star I would wanna know how my Start is doing if I had over 200 reviews and averaged a 2.2 stars like this location does I would do something about it, I would read the comments I would make improvements. I would not want to average a 2.2 rating, I went here again tonight. I've been here before in the past and not had very good luck and I decided to try it again so I came in ordered my normal bowl and once again the portion size of the protein was extremely small. I asked for a little bit more. They would not even give me one piece more. They said if I give you more, it's gonna be double I don't want double I just want the normal size of protein that they're supposed to give. They used to give a whole lot more than they give now I maybe got like 15 pieces of chicken. Went to the new Camarillo Chipotle on Arneill Road. Nice clean restaurant. My bowl was substantially smaller than the bowl at the outlet location. It did not resemble any of the bowls in the photographs. They were out of ingredients - grilled peppers for example. I don't know when the opened, I went on Friday and the staff seemed to be in a training mode. Perhaps I'm spoiled by the outlet location. read more

This was my first experience at a Chipotle. Very disappointed! There wasn't any fresh chicken. Most pieces were very small and the portion was very small. They should have made a new batch. The sautéed vegetable bin was practically empty which meant I received the dregs. The beans were too wet and made the container soggy. I asked for guacamole and was disappointed with the lack of taste. NO CILANTRO was available! All in all a terrible experience. Will never go back to another Chipotle! So the option is either not having what you want or having to order on the app while you're there in person. Good Chipotle in the Camarillo Outlet Mall. It's just across from the Columbia store. In store seating area can be a little small but they also have some outdoor seating. But the past 3-4 times I've been going has gotten increasingly worse. OK, after several negative experiences at this store, I finally have a positive one, tonight. I was served by the tall African-American guy with glasses, I cannot recommend this guy enough. He was the best, very timely service, very polite, and very good on portions he gave me portions like we haven't seen for the last 10 years he wrapped up one of those burritos that like we used to get you know where you can barely close them and they barely fit in the foil. I normally just get a salad because I'm not a fan of the meats. The pollo asada was delicious and would buy it again. They have plenty of outside parking as well as seating. I had the worse experience from the Manager Jaime. She was very disrespectful, unprofessional, combative, and extremely rude over the pronunciation of their tomatillo sauce. I asked for their tomatillo sauce meaning the green sauce, every time I've asked before every employee knew what I was asking for. She decided to give me an educational lecture (her words) since both the red and the green sauces are both tomatillo and it wasn't in a family manner either. She was very condescending and kept calling me hun. I asked her multiple times not to call me hun but she continued to call me hun multiple times. I felt very disrespected and humiliated after she continued to talk about me to other customers while I was getting charged. She used her position as a manager to threaten me and mentioned if she doesn't want to help me she doesn't have to and will throw my food out. I asked for more and they wanted to charge me for a double, no thanks! What happened to how it use to be? I have been coming here for many years. This location is awful for 2 reasons, in my opinion. First, the staff are inconsistent with their measurements. The female servers are stingy with giving meat and I'm a girl. Second, they often run out of steak, even if there's still 1 hour left before closing time. I mean, it's obvious that steak is the most popular meat. So why not have that more available? Information about the ingredients in the beans. The staff thought they were vegetarian but I seemed unsure. Many Staff are not informed of the ingredients in the things they receive. If there's lard used the beans are not vegetarian. It would be useful to know what kind of oil has been used. Ditto on the calories of the black beans versus the brown beans. Again better information about what is vegetarian and what are the ingredients of items! 3 Clear signage about the cauliflower rice. On the main menu it lists extra charge for guacamole or a special cheese but it does not list an up charge of two dollars for the cauliflower rice. Evidently there's another sign that shows that but there are two signs that do not say anything about the up charge. I think corporate needs to do a better job of communicating this very clearly to the customer 4. signage about the cost for an individual taco 5 Clear ingredients on the small tortilla. They said it was bot corn but were unclear of ingredients 6 Offer vegan/corn gluten-free tortilla option. 7 Offer more local organic produce 8 Consider more compostable forks and items. - this is something that most restaurants could improve upon.
