The prices are fair and represent good value; especially given the nutritional value of many of the ingredients. Staff is always polite and welcoming. If you come to this establishment to eat-in before it's closing time, please make sure to ask first when the actual closing time is before making your order. After long day of shopping at the Camarillo outlet, we were quite happy to be there 15 minutes before it's advertised (on Google) business schedule & it was still open for business. So we started ordering and tapping my card to pay for my order. After the payment, the cashier then reminded that our order would be a take-out order instead of eat-in! I guess, that's the America fast food industries work ethic of nowadays. We were very disappointed for that customer-insensitivity. We knew they would close soon but not this soon. So me and a group of people ordered Sharkey's after a video shoot and the food got there on time and it was still fresh so they did a great job with that great service. So the big thing that I got was the wild caught salmon burrito. And it was different. It reminded me of like one big sushi roll but burrito style with a tortilla and it was good. I wish that it came with the sauce. I didn't check to see if it did cause it was group order but if it would've came with the sauce, it definitely could like elevated it like an eel sauce would be awesome with it , but the same was cooked. Good tortilla nice well done. I wasn't a big fan of the cucumber in it I wish I would've took it off, but that's my fault. Just because I don't like the crunch it was providing to the burrito, but it was good. I will definitely order it again. The quesadilla was good, but in my opinion, the meat was a little dry good seasoning. The meat definitely could've been juicier. When you bite into it the juice was not falling out of it. It was very much dry and it could've been cheesier. In my opinion, I would like to try it again if it had those changes made to it Now onto dessert the churros delicious very very delicious. It's kinda hard to be a nice warm churro chocolate sauce was OK. My wife got two fajita tacos and I got two shrimp tacos they were good and spicy but I really want to give a compliment to a young lady, I wish I got her name because I wanted to buy a drink and I had to wait in line even though I got my food and my wife got the food at the same time. I started to eat and I got thirsty my wife got a drink for herself at the time when she purchased the two orders. This just wasn't good. The majority of everything that came to the table was bland with the one exception being the regular salsa. I ordered the hot honey chicken taco which came with an enormous twice fried chicken tender that the tortilla couldn't attempt to wrap around. There was no heat beyond the temperature and overall it just wasn't flavorful. I also ordered a quesadilla for my daughter and it came closer to room temperature without the cheese being fully melted in the center. The rice was okay but the beans smelled the way they would during the digestion process. My husband enjoyed his fiesta burrito with chicken though but his ice tea tasted like an air freshener in a public restroom. Last thing that needs to be mentioned is the "Queso", it tasted like just cumin and has a very runny consistency. I understand that there needs to be some open-mindedness when try this out but it was a miss for me. This time they forgot or maybe were out of the roasted peppers. This salad has a good crunch and flavorful twist on a traditional Caesar salad. Love their chips and salsa bar. You order your food at the cashier staring at a board above the cashier, like any fast food joint. Here's where this place differs, the food actually tastes fresh. The nachos are the only decent nachos you can find in the area. When eating it tastes like they actually just made it, whether they did or not I don't know. It looks like they're hard at work cooking. Everyone in my party liked their food. From the grilled shrimp tacos to the fish tacos, and me with my massive chicken nachos, there were no complaints. The nachos grande are enough for 2 to share, which explains the price. This place can be a bit pricey, as they boast better ingredients, and do give you that freshly made taste. To sum it up, everything was pretty alright but nothing would knock your socks off. I recommend it to anyone in the area, but given the price I'm not sure I'd go out of my way for it. read more
