Update (12/11): I ordered extra portions but my bowl wasn't as filled as last time, but maybe that's due to the time I placed my order (around 3:20-3:30). Not only that, but I found a piece of plastic while eating my food. I appreciate the speed at completing my order, but not at the expense of losing out on extra portions and finding plastic in my food. 2nd update (as of 12/14): I submitted my complaint to Chipotle's customer service and very soon after received an email from one of their staff who gave me 2 free entree rewards as a kind gesture! If I could give a rating of zero I would! My 16 year old daughter experienced such rude customer service at this location. I will be kind and won't expose the woman's name on this review, but thankfully have the receipt on hand to be able to follow up with a manager. The woman taking my daughter's order was was rude in her tone while taking my daughter's order, rolled her eyes at her, and acted as if my daughter was inconveniencing her. When my daughter came home with our order, she was so visibly upset at being treated so rudely. After she told me what happened, I immediately called to speak with the manager, but they have an automated system that would not connect me with a real person. So frustrating! I will be going in person to speak with a manager because this is unacceptable. If you don't like your job, don't take it out on others, and perhaps consider a different job! read more

The employee that was helping us was on his second day and was asking for help, and the guy in the picture rudely told him "go get it yourself," and proceeded to not help him. But, thankfully they were honest here, called to confirm that I had an interview because of the last instance in which I was scheduled to have an interview at another location. The system is cruel in my opinion. The bot schedules you an interview in person, then the day of it sends a text message that "management decided to cancel." This place seems to be the hangout spot now for pre-teens who have no money. They all come pouring in, loud af and then proceed to ask for water cups and get soda. What used to be a nice quiet spot to eat has turned into chaos. I strongly suggest handing them water in the cup instead of letting than get it themselves because they are children. It has been a while since I stepped into any Chipotle locations and this time I made an online order through the app at the Diamond Bar location. This was my first time using the app but it was quite easy. You can also select what time you want the order to be ready. I had ordered two different bowls and one salad with all different types of protein. All of it was made perfectly and nothing was wrong with my order! What I ordered was a chicken salad with guacamole, fresh salsa, corn, cheese and all this can be done inside the app while also saying if you want a lot or just a little bit! We buy from chipotle regularly. Today I ordered a kids meal with chicken quesadilla via app (RQ8-1A3) for my toddler to eat. Unfortunately after one bite my kid screams "spicy spicy". I couldn't believe it so I took a bite of the chicken and it was indeed spicy. I called the number listed but they just kept transferring the call around and couldn't answer the simple question: why is the chicken spicy?!! Make matters worse, the customer service coordinator told me if it is for kids I should ask the crew to make it non spicy... are you kidding me? This is kids meal for a reason. As many people in the reviews have echoed, I too am a Chipotle lover. I honestly get it at least once a week. I usually go to the one in Walnut but I was closer to this one this time and decided to come to this one in Diamond Bar. Big mistake. My sister and I both got a burrito bowl around 1:30 PM on a Monday. The service was just okay. I don't want to seem entitled to anything but the worker gave me very little barbacoa and totally skimped us out on the side of guacamole we got. Like seriously, it wasn't even 3/4ths full. Also, I usually ask for a side of citrus (lemon juice) which all of the locations I have been to have happily provided. I don't know if it was true but the worker here was incredibly quick to get annoyed when I asked and said "We ran out." I'm not trying to make any assumptions but you can take that as you will. I drove home only about 7 minutes away to eat the bowl and to my disappointment - it was practically inedible. The rice I got (brown rice) was severely undercooked and it ruined the entire bowl. Undercooked rice isn't just unsavory but it could potentially harbor harmful bacteria that can make you ill. It was seriously disgusting. My sister got white rice in hers and it was also undercooked- leading me to believe that this was a problem with the way they cooked it. Needless to say, I had one bite and couldn't eat it anymore. A server admitted that their cilantro has bacteria and can make you sick. A server told me they couldn't give me cilantro on the side unless they put lime juice in it because the cilantro isn't washed and has bacteria on it. He told me that he can only give me a side of cilantro if they add lime juice in order to kill the bacteria. They need to acid in the lime juice to kill the bacteria on the cilantro. Seriously, they told me an ingredient they put in most of their sides can get you sick. I told him I get a side of chopped cilantro all the time at Chipotle and nobody has ever put lime juice in it, nor stated they needed to. Which is true. I have given me a side of chopped cilantro dozens of times without any issues and without any lime juice. Let's look at the logic of this statement by him: 1) Why are your serving unclean food? And why would a customer choose to eat there after you told them your food wasn't clean? 2) The acid in a person's stomach has a pH of around 2 while lime juice is greater than 2, making your stomach more acid than lime juice. If your stomach can't kill batteria, then lime juice won't either. Needless to say I refused both the side of cilantro and my entire bowl; not only because I wanted the cilantro and didn't want the lime juice, but even more importantly, because I don't want to eat something that they admitted to me can make me sick. read more

They had no cheese, no sour cream, no white rice and no pico de gallo, and they still charged me for guacamole even though they had nothing else. I only came here today because I didn't feel like driving another two miles back to another location. This was around 8:30 so they still were supposed to be open until 10pm. Placed an order online. I ordered a quesadilla with sofritas, my 3 sides were sour cream, tomatillo red chili salsa and chipotle honey vinaigrette. (The quesadilla is ONLY available online and the vinaigrette is here for a limited time) I was a little disappointed in my quesadilla as it was mostly tortilla, (you can see the multiple layers of JUST tortilla in my picture) but I did enjoy the parts that did have some filling. Before I start, I have one suggestion (possibly for all of Chipotle). Maybe invest in a better pick-up system? The honor system is great, but I don't think it works with stupidity or just theft. We ordered online the other day, and I'm always weary of someone taking our order since it's on the pickup shelf. Anyway, I walked at 6:05pm and the ready time was 6:00pm. Another customer bag was put on the shelf as I walked near the counter. A couple minutes went by so I gave the name for our order. The clerk looked at the monitor, then looked at the shelf and said, "We'll make it again". I wasn't mad, but I think this slows down service when the staff has to duplicate work, because stupid customers; or food couriers DO NOT READ the receipts that they grab. I was pretty sure that the order that was placed on the shelf as I walked it was for the person who most likely took mine. By the time I got my re-order, it was left sitting there. So seriously, Little Caesars Pizza has an epic system that gives you a code that only lets the customer access the food that they specifically ordered from the locked food dispenser oven contraption thingy. This would save so much time and confusion with orders. (Avoid theft too). Aside from the long "suggestion", food is good here, the staff is nice, and aside from this last incident this store is overall pretty good. read more

Ordered a chicken bowl for National Avocado Day online and thought I would instantly regret the decision. I've heard so many stories of small portion sizes, but I was delighted to discover that they were pretty fair. I arrived at 9:30pm, which is pretty close to closing. The restaurant was extremely clean, and the staff were cleaning up for the night. However, even as new customers walked in, they treated everyone with patience and a smile. I originally planned to take this to-go, but it was so clean and quiet I decided to eat there instead, and dining in was indeed an enjoyable experience. Now onwards to my bowl, which I think was fairly portioned. The chicken and beans were quite salty, which seemed to be normal at Chipotle. The guac, though, had me laughing...
