Chipotle offered a special for IU winning the championship on the day after, BOGO entree when wearing IU gear, so we decided to have chipotle for dinner. We came to this location and it was packed. Parking was full, we had to wait for someone to leave to get a spot. I noticed some people were parking in the adjacent business's lots to get here. The line was long, past the entrance. This deal was too good to pass on, brought the city out and lots of business for Chipotle. It took about 20 minutes to get to the front. I was thankful that everything I wanted wasn't out since it was extremely busy. If you have the rewards app, you couldn't use another reward with the BOGO offer. My family was happy with the dinner choice, and I'm glad we saved some money. The ambiance inside was loud because it was so busy, but we found a table big enough for all of us. Have been to this location multiple times but since last two visits the experience has deteriorated. Messed up online order (forget an ingredient or add wrong salsa) and quantity of food in a bowl is always a question. Would you get enough? Less? This time they didn't have order ready at given pickup (chipotle lane order) time. Thought it would take 3-4 extra minutes. But, but, it took them 10 minutes to get it ready and they added wrong salsa to my bowl and it had way too much rice, barely any cheese-sour cream- guac to be found. Really excited that this location opened near me so I don't have to go all the way to Greenwood anytime I want some Chipotle. I ordered online and picked up using the Chipotlane. I went around 12:30 in a Saturday and I could see a long line inside through the window but there was no wait for the drive-thru pickup. They also have a few curbside pickup dedicated parking spots. I can imagine that this location gets very congested since this spot could barely contain the Starbucks traffic from right next door. But I didn't have any issues today around lunchtime. Service was quick and friendly. I will definitely order again, especially with the Chipotlane option. The chips were really greasy but the guac portion was decent sized. I do wish guac was not extra like other chains...but I need guac so I'll pay for it. The chicken was pretty chewy but I'll just get another protein next time. read more

Dinner at Chipotle. I checked my app and saw that I had enough points for a free meal. But I opted out and paid for it. My food was delicious. Having non dairy options will always be a win. The guy tried to charge me for guacamole but I jokingly asked hey are you trying to stiff me for guacamole when it comes with my veggie bowl. We all laughed and it was all good. On my way home from work, I stopped in to grab supper for everyone. The employee had a great sense of hummer as she asked me (standing there alone) if the order was for there or to go. She joked that she was relieved because it always worried her a little when people were alone and ]had large orders for eating in. She did a great job making the three bowls all at once, and even reminded me that the guacamole is an up charge. After paying, I went to the drink station, which is located around the corner from the line, and out of sight from it. It took me a minute to find it. I wanted to get some of the lemonade (not Minute Maid) that they have, but one was full of water, and the other two were almost empty. After paying for my meal, I was told that I could not have the 45 cents change that I was supposed to get back because the manager was gone and the store didn't have the change. I offered to give the cashier the difference, and she could give me a dollar, but she couldn't follow my thinking and told me I could come back tomorrow for the 45 cents. I think the most disturbing part about this is that it was "ok" to "not give" a customer the correct change back. She could have offered a lot of other options, but coming back tomorrow is terrible customer service. I was so excited to have this location built closer to our home. Since they have been open, I completely understand how it's been hard to keep employees. The pandemic has played a huge role on all of us. The restaurant is closed more than they are open. We have the option of the chipotlane or delivery, however; the orders have been wrong more than they have been right. When I do get a correct order, I don't even get a full scoop of what I order. Prices have increased and I have been served "child size portions" on more than one occasion. Like I said I completely understand how it's been hard to keep employees... But for the employees that are currently working, it would be nice to feel confident to come to this restaurant and get what I ordered without an issue. read more

No sign or anything warning customers, so of course I'm rice,, beans, and protein committed and have to get corn which I pretty much hate. Employees mostly lackadaisical as per usual. This place remains the weakest link in the chain. I think some young people are completely capable of running a business like this, but it doesn't seem to be working here. You're better off driving south to the location near County Line. read more

I love Chipotle and will drive past Qdoba to get here, but this location is not great. I've given them multiple chances over the past 6-9 months knowing everyone has struggled due to the pandemic. Tonight I was there maybe 6:30pm. There were 6-8 workers and they were out of steak and the adobo chicken. It is dinner time on a Sunday night when lots of people eat out. The place is pretty much empty. A lady and I wait 5ish minutes for fresh steak and adobo chicken. This lady remarks on the cook nibbling while grilling the meat. The counter help is friendly and gives me.plwnty of food. Last time they forgot my tortilla on the side. This time they upcharge me for the tortilla, then the Coke is barely carbonated and I wouldn't have paid $2+ dollars for that. I have to ask for small cup.lids and a fork since they are completely out. Even the gas station gives me the Coke for free if there is a minor inconvenience like only 1 cashier and a guy buying 20 different kinds of lottery tickets and doesn't know what he wants. The lady waiting on the steak expected to be offered some free chips. I expected at the very least to have the upcharge taken off for the chips or to be given a drink while I waited. It is obvious the employees at this store do not have the power to make any customer service decisions, or that the manager is not managing. I've been to sooooo many Chipotle's as I lived in Colorado and u til this location their customer service has always been Chic-Fil-A level. Every time I have come to this Chipotle there is some weird issue like they are only taking orders through the app and the door is closed, etc There is a new Chipotle south of me and I will probably drive there instead. Am I addicted to chipotle Mexican Grill? Yes. Are all chipotles built the same? ABSOLUTELY NOT. To be honest I was pleasantly surprised by this place. No line and we got our food quick. There was a problem with my gift card and the manager graciously ended up, giving us our food for free! The restaurant seemed newer and relatively clean. Rice was cooked, steak and chicken were perfectly seasoned. It's a Chipotle, so I'd assume that their food and service is similar to any other. Just a heads up, at the beginning of 2022, they were only accepting orders through the app/website. I didn't realize this until I got to this location. I would have had to wait 50 minutes to pick up my order. That just wasn't an option for a "quick" lunch. The bottled coke was warm, the food was so cold the cheese didn't even melt and the burrito wasn't even wrapped properly so the tortilla just came apart in the back and went everywhere. This is a great chipotle location. Service is always quick. Food is fresh, what more can you ask for? I can't speak on the mobile ordering system- I always just go inside. At that time I was told they were out of queso but to comp me they gave me a LARGE tortilla chip! I thought OH BOY...more chips to eat without any queso?? Got home to New Palestine and opened everything up ($37 worth) and no black beans rather white rice. Was eating my chicken quesadilla and I had a odd feeling on my tongue...Reached in my mouth and pulled out an 8 inch curly hair. I about vomited. This is the absolute worst chipotle in Indianapolis. You're guaranteed to wait 30 minutes to an hour for some chips and queso and a burrito. Worst service in history of all Chipotle's. I've been to this location about 20 times for pick ups, if you deliver food avoid this place like the plague. You'll see a short line, but that's because after you wait 30 minutes they'll tell you they're still working on it and then you'll see all the cars waiting for their food. read more

This location is off to a very poor start. And clearly, they did not research the psychographic of this side of town. Some of their staff members mistakenly believe they are in New York, LA, Chicago, Seattle, etc. and that's sad, because we were excited that Chipotle was coming to Beech Grove. But our first experience there was beyond words of disappointment. First of all, realize that they do not have a traditional drive-thru. And their staff is quite proud of that. I think they're going to quickly find they'll need to change that on this side of town, or I would predict there will be a for-lease sign on the building within 6 to 12 months. We were greeted by a young man with a very haughty, arrogant, superior demeanor. When I asked for his first name, he said he was a minor and it was against the law for me to ask for his (first) name. He either needs a corrective interview, or an opportunity to be successful somewhere else -- maybe in a different city. He's not a good fit for that location. The food was OK. Priced as Chipolte would normally be priced elsewhere in Indy. I wonder if they moved into the neighborhood thinking that because the Chick-fil-A down the street is extremely successful, they would have the same kind of success. If that assumption is correct, they are in for a rude awakening because the Chick-fil-A down the road has an outstanding operation with beyond stellar service. And for the record, I actually tried to share this with their manager instead of putting it out onto a public review site, but his telephone number is not set up to take voicemail.
