Lesson #1: I never order online here because they always give too little meat. Unfortunately this location is the closest to home, so I don't have another option. I came in on a Thursday at 4:40PM and had to deal with a rude employee. He was hastily trying to serve everyone and had no patience when the customers in front of me couldn't understand what he was asking (he was speaking very quickly and they didn't speak English well). When it was my turn, I noticed he was impatient or was in a bad mood, so I told him quickly - white rice, no beans and chicken. He said ok, then proceeded to add black beans to my bowl. So I repeated then, "I said no beans." And he gave me the nastiest side eye as if it was my fault. First of all, I clearly said NO beans. If he didn't hear me correctly, he should've asked instead of assuming, but I don't think he cared because he was in a hurry and upset from the earlier customers. What if I was allergic and he had served me beans??? After that encounter, he was visibly angry at me (for something that was not my fault) and he gave me barely 2 oz of chicken and barely 2 oz of rice. I had to eat something else at home to make myself full from dinner. Not sure why I'm paying $10 for a bowl where the amount of food I receive are determined by an emotional, angsty, immature worker. I don't know what paying customers do to deserve that kind of treatment. If you're going to work at a customer service job, please have a better attitude and provide good service or don't work there. And Chipotle needs to teach their employees what a standard serving of each item should be. read more

The worst customer service I have ever experienced. For starters, a new hire mentioned it was his first day so we understood that taking our order was going to take a while. However, this other woman behind the line was being so rude to him as he was helping us. Instead of demonstrating how to warm up tortillas, pour the rice, etc. she rudely stepped in and took the spoon ladle from his hand mid pour. She also scolded him for placing the tortillas on the tray instead of the aluminum foil. She basically took over to help us, but was even rude to us when we were asking her what we wanted in our food. She was messy in rolling my burrito, basically folded in half and wrapped up in the foils, so by the time I unrolled it, it was a mess. Her name is Anahi the one with the bold eyebrows, she was very rude to her coworker and to us. read more

I vowed to never come back, because they have always had the smallest portions of meat, without fail, every time. Unfortunately, kids were hungry and this is right across the street. This chipotle has become cheap-potle. They are serving meat in small cups that they are use to serve salsa. For a chicken bowl, it includes 4 or 5 small pieces of chicken. Irvine people should boycott them till they learn their lesson. People are rude. For kids meal , there is option to add small portion of meat for 55c. They have this rate if meat is inside quesadilla . If they serve same meat in the box, they charge 2.55c. Again chicken comes with the measurement of small cup. I never had these issues with Chipotle before. Have seen this with this particular store for last couple of times. Never going back here. read more

These workers always seem annoyed. There's 2 in specific. A male Caucasian who wears his hat slightly to the side. He's about 5'7. I came into the restroom to wash my hands and he was using the restroom and just walked out without even washing his hands. I'm seriously overdue for a review of this place. This is my closest Chipotle to home, but after giving them numerous chances, I refuse to come here again. The biggest complaint: The taste of the food itself - I don't know what it is, but every single time, the taste is OFF! It is a very noticeable difference and I don't have expert taste testing taste buds. - If you want to know exactly what I'm talking about, order from this location. Then, go to Chipotle at Northpark Plaza, 3955 Irvine Blvd and order from there. It's right down the street. You don't even need to do this in the same day. Once you've had good Chipotle, you can taste that this is bad Chipotle. The workers who portion out your food - they're also stingier with their portions. It's coronavirus quarantine time - so Chipotle has free delivery. My app defaulted to giving me delivery from this location despite that I deliberately selected the other location. My food arrived 20 minutes later than the estimated delivery time (not Chipotle's fault but Door Dash). This part IS chipotle's fault - I was missing three items from my order. So after waiting a total of an hour for my food, I drove myself to Chipotle to get my missing items. So much for contactless delivery. never will I order from this location again. I try and try to give this place a chance but I can't. They are wayyy to skimpy on the portions. I get the meat portion but the to be sooo stingy with giving a paying client a DECENT amount of lettuce or rice is ridiculous. Avoid this place. Ordered from Doordash and got a confirmation that the order is ready for pick up by 11:30am. Went at noon and they said the order does not exist. We showed them the order confirmation, the restaurant address and the order details but they insisted that we made the mistake and reserved at a different location. How is that possible when the address and phone number i called rang at the correct location. I contacted Doordash and Customer service checked the system and it showed the order as "Completed". Don't come to this location if you need to be anywhere afterwards. I was doing some shopping at Woodbury Town Center around dinnertime and decided to place an order on Uber Eats so I could pick it up before heading home. The pick-up time was 7:10 so I walked over around 7. When I opened the door I was shocked by the amount of customers waiting for their mobile pick-up orders. There were about 20 people waiting and an equal number of customers in line. Long story short, I walked out with my burrito bowl (minus lettuce because somehow they ran out at 7pm) at 8:05. I like Chipotle and all but not sure it's worth waiting an extra 55 minutes past the pick-up time for one burrito bowl. I've never had dinner at this location but I wonder if it's like this every night of the week? I saw about 10 employees behind the counter so not sure if it's just poorly managed or what. Came in tonight for my son's basketball team fundraiser. The cashier and people prepping your meal were very rude. They seem to always rush the customers in line ordering food. Before you can ask for more sour cream or other toppings, they've already moved your bowl or burrito down the line or even put a lid on your bowl already! They are also very stingy with the meat! They only put very small portion of meat which does not satisfy your hunger. My mom also ordered her food and told the cashier that she was there for the fundraiser and mentioned the school name three times to which the cashier replied, "yeah". When we compared receipts, mine said "fundraiser" under my order while my mom's didn't. I guess that means my son's team won't get the proceeds from my mom's order. So much for fundraising! Also, they do not allow flyers being handed out to customers there which to me doesn't make sense. Customers should just be able to mention the school name or organization so that they can get the proceeds. In my opinion, if Chipotle really wants to help the school and if the fundraiser is from 5-9pm, then all monies should go to the school during that timeframe whether or not a flyer was shown. read more

Huge chipotle fan here. Stay away from this location. Very poorly run, unfriendly staff, dirty dining room and disgusting food line. Kitchen looks like a disaster. They really need to change management and I don't say that lightly. Half the time I go in they are missing basic ingredients. The other half the food is either cold or inedible. I have received cold, chewy steak before. I have also been served raw brown rice that was crunchy and soggy. This is the absolute worst chipotle location. It's a shame that this is the closest one to my house. The beans are always undercooked when I go here. ** POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE** First of all I soon as I go there (7pm) I saw one of your male employees eating while working, he was just standing in there with his mouth full of food. I requested Vinaigrette dressing but they didn't have any they told me that it was going to take about 5-7 minutes well I finish my food at 7:25pm and no dressing. When I got up from the table to check on the dressing one of your female employees was eating, I believe she grabbed food from the grill because when I say excuse me and she turn around her mouth was full of food. It's nice to have a Chipotle close to home. It would be nicer if they got anything right, ever! There's always something wrong with my order! Most of the time, they jip you on rice and meat, and then assassinate your bowl with salsa and lettuce. Even when you pay extra for more of something, like guac, they completely rip you off!
