Ordered through app for pickup. When I opened Burrito Bowl, it looked like it had been used for soccer practice. Red onions were cut Way Too Big. Think I'll just stick with Chicken Quesadilla... I tried to call the stores phone number and it literally just keeps redirecting you in circles. There is no way to get a live person to talk to you. Never order through the Chipotle app at this location. Messed up my order multiple times and gave me other peoples order before. Never order double portions of protein. Not sure if it is on purpose but they will give you less than a normal order. Nothing like be double charged for less. I would check your food before driving off. Next time I'll leave a photo, but I would order here pretty much once a week so this has been an issue more than it should be. When this location first opened everything was great, but this past year the service has been horrible! I always order online ahead of time because I'm coming home from work late. It's always a 50/50 chance they'll get my order correct. They always forget my guac and have completely forgotten the protein I pay extra for (I get steak and chicken and they've left out either one or the other multiple times). In general chipotle has always been horrible when ordering online because receiving a correct order is a huge gamble. I've chatted with pepper on the app and normally they'd "fix" the issue by giving me a "free" guac or meal even though really it's something I did pay for and never received. This last time the customer support didn't help whatsoever and they left out the guac, chicken, and corn. At this point it's ridiculous and I don't want a "free" meal for the future I just want to be able to order my food after a long day and have it be accurate especially because I'm paying extra for add on's. I used to virtually tip before this became an issue but now I see no point and it's unfortunate but idk what else to do. Hopefully things change :( I like my chipotle read more

This is the new Lakemoor, IL location. Chipotle is my favorite restaurant, now only 1 mile away, super excited, closest is 7 miles away in Mchenry, IL. I have been to the Lakemoor, IL location 4 times. 1st time, no lettuce available, 2nd time, no fajita peppers available, 3rd time no pollo asado available, and today 4th time, no white rice, and pollo asado overcooked almost black in color. To be clear when asked for white rice, it was 10 minutes for new batch, then asked for pollo asado, was told they were out, then lady annoying takes bowl to carry out orders and gets overcooked and burnt pollo asado from that set up. Upon paying I realize there is white rice on the carry out orders set up. 4/4 times something is out or item is not ready. Each time I have been here, the staff running around enjoying themselves laughing, also eating at tables, looks like a party almost, and the cook area and seating area just a mess, all at the expense of poor customer satisfaction. As someone who loves Chipotle, I will drive the extra 6 miles as this is the most poorly run Chipotle, if not restaurant I've experienced. Sad as a brand new location could have poor management and you can tell as the young employees are kind of left figuring out what to do and don't seem to care much. read more

First of all the food was quite good but the reason why this review got low stars was because i placed an online order and when i came in, the portion of ingredients i got on my burrito was nothing compared to what i would've gotten if i were to order in person. when i picked up my order it was struggle to get because the workers were all messing around and not paying any attention to any of the customers and there was a long line. I asked for the manager and this girl (who appeared to be all of 18) was like I am the manager. 3. The service was ridiculously terrible and the right hand and the left hand have no idea what's going on and how to work in a service environment. 5/10/15 years ago this would not be the way businesses were run. The service industry as a whole gets below average reviews. 4. The tables were dirty 5. The drink station a mess The only reason I have any stars was the 1st guy a skinny kid was pleasant. I contacted Chipotle via the app and was provided two free kid's meal. This time, we made the order via the app for pickup. The drinks were not in the bag and needed to be reviewed before given. Have given this location multiple chances. It disappoints every time. I always end up finding a chunk of meat in my queso. This last time I went, the lettuce was red/brown. Definitely had been sitting out for a while. I get there can be slow days and things might go bad, But dont give that to customers that pay $13+ for a meal. When i had asked the worker for fresher lettuce, he had said " um... fresher lettuce?" And in my head i was like no way im gonna eat this nasty lettuce. Im paying for freshness and this is not fresh. Then i watch from the corner of my eye as they put the lettuce on there, they plopped in on my bowl with such attitude. I was very disappointed in this Chipotle as when I asked them to mix the ingredients in my burrito they told me they didn't have time. I really enjoy the Chipotle burritos, but if you've eaten one that isn't mixed up, you get one bite with just rice and then take another bite and it's just meat, I prefer all the ingredients in one bite. My wife went in to place a order, 4 kids meals and two burrito bowls. My kids orders were ok but not as accurate. My wife's bowl and mine were totally made wrong. I had to go back to replace my wife's , when I went back whoever at the front not the cashier said your wife should have been paying attention when food was made and she would remake it this time but next time said we need to pay attention. My wife said she was giving the order and three different people were making it. Great but then make it right or say hold on. I was even more heated when I left. I work in the industries and I get things happen but the way the lady talked to me made me feel like I was annoying and it was my fault. Yeah just wanna I want to do come back while my food gets cold and my family eats without me. This place needs better customer service.
