It was a very good, pleasant experience. Good food. Good quality of food. But I have my cons but the pros outweigh the cons

We slightly after 11am anf there were a couple of people ahead of us. The line moved fairly quickly and even quicker after the man in front of us left . I ordered the grain freedom bowl with chicken and my better half got chicken tacos . The young man who was building my bowl was obviously new and asked me if I could tell him what was in it ( I found myself laughing in my head because at some point we are all new at a job and I found it oddly charming . You could tell he was trying and that's the important thing . He was friendly and had a great attitude. I showed him on my phone what was in it and he proceeded to build my bowl. I think he was more relaxed when all he had to do was make some tacos lol. The lobby was well lit , clean and plenty of seating. The condiment area was clean and well stocked . For the two of us my husband paid a little over 27 dollars& that included drinks as well. I didn't get a picture of his tacos because he scarfed them down before I had a chance! read more

I've been coming to this location for 3 years now. It's been going downhill but today was the worst. The portion I received was embarrassing. My brown rice... didn't even cover the bottom of the bowl & dry. Was so excited they brought back Carne Asada... too bad I only get to taste like 2 strips. Toppings were all running low. Mind you this is 4:00 pm well before dinner rush and well after lunch. Location should have been way more prepared and better people on the line. read more

this chipotle absolutely sucks. The workers are rude most of the time. Also they never cook their rice. The last three times I've been to this restaurant I'll my burrito and the rice is crunchy. I can't eat it. I end up throwing it away so the last three times I went here I've wasted my money. I will never go there again read more

This is the worst chipotle in Lexington! They are consistently out of meat, vegetables, beans, toppings, etc. They are always staffed, and the food is good. My wife and I went before the lunch rush and they only had chicken and black beans available (but failed to tell us until they had already started preparing our bowls). They have a lot of work to do before I would recommend this location to anyone. read more

They never have anything. Run out of chicken, rice, queso, everything. Manager in the from with glasses just looks while one guy in the back cooks the chicken. How about actually doing something instead of watching it go to crap. She needs to be reconsidered for the job. Horrible experience always. read more

I've been trying to give chipotle so many chances but I'm done. I'll never visit another one again and neither should you. This location is absolute trash - awful food, cold and gross. And thanks for giving me the requested silverware - it's awesome eating a salad with your fingers. I've never seen a company fall apart so quick in terms of service and food quality. Horrible food service, ordered online and was given a "quesadilla" and "large chips" that was cold; not even put together or heated, small, and just pathetic.... Don't order here if you can help it, Definitely not worth it and definitely the worst chipotle in Lexington....... Somehow two bags of this and a quesadilla with white queen cost $44.... After posting my review a rep from Chipotle asked that I share my experience on their website which I did. I then got an email asking for a receipt. After responding I got an additional email referencing a store in ANOTHER STATE and letting me know a BYGO coupon had been added to my "account." I do not have an account and advised them of that fact as well as the fact that the emails continued to reference a Chipotle location in another state. I received no additional response. It seems Chipotle has issues on several levels so we won't be visiting there again. read more

Love it! This location always has freshly made ingredients and friendly faces. Some young folks run this new location and I think they are doing an excellent job. I've noticed sometimes they run out of a thing or two, I think they make items fresh rather than in bulk during the morning like other locations and that is something I appreciate. read more

My experience was horrible, I waited in line for over 25 mins and when it was my turn they were out of everything and it only being around 7 pm on a week night seemed to be a bit odd. I watched them throw the orders a head of me together so sloppy and being a long time Chipotle customer the portions were way smaller than the norm. I also was a bit disappointed in the line it was messy, food everywhere, dried up cheese. I really don't know how one locations can be so far off from what we expect when visiting a Chipotle. I left hungry and the employees were very rude they let ppl stand in line to them advise once we get to order that they were out of most of the basic ingredients. Why not let customers know when they walk in so we don't waste 30 mins. Responding to the response from Chipotle, I did reach out to your customer service and I got an automated response that said they would forward my concerns and that was weeks ago so I assume nothing is actually being done. read more

Absolutely the worst chipotle location in Lexington. Perfect location, but the employees here are terrible. Slow at making correct orders ; socializing with one another instead of serving the customers. Shouldn't take 25 mins to order & receive your food order when there is only 4 ppl in the restaurant. I was excited to get this restaurant on my side of town. The line was slow and a lot of ingredients were out for the night and it was only 630pm. It didn't seem like there wasn't a manager present but a bunch of young kids running the restaurant. I was charged 2 times. My meal and my daughter and ended up paying for my mom's meal too. When I got home my chips were stale and my food was cold. Definitely will wait a while before returning. A plus was everyone in line seemed to be patient and didn't mind having to wait for them to cut fresh steak and chicken. read more

I've never written a review on yelp because I've never felt so strongly about the poor service I've received. I love chipotle which is the only reason I've been to this one 5 times. Every time I've been here, I've received slow service. Not just a couple extra minutes - I've never gotten out in less than 20 minutes. I'm currently sitting in line having ordered online 40 minutes ago. I understand that it's a newer establishment, but the biggest problem is that there is no remorse from the team. The leadership in this chipotle has not set any expectation of efficient service. To try and redeem this review, the food is good, but that's only because it's chipotle. read more

Just watched a male employee on the service line use his hands to wipe food that had fallen onto the counter, place that food into the bowl that he was preparing for a customer. Pretty sure that qualifies as a health violation as well as just being disgusting. Chipotle lowering their standards yet again! Wouldn't recommend eating here unless you're into Russian Roulette with foodborne illness. Also, flies throughout your prep area does not add to the ambiance. Do better ownership! read more

I walked in and the first thing I heard a worker shout out was "we're out of chicken!" No worries, they had signs all over the place advertising their garlic steak. After waiting in line, I was told they were out of that too. So I asked for Barbacoa. Sorry, out of that too. They offered to scrape bits of both together for me, which was very little meat. My wife ordered the regular steak, which was tender but fatty and gristly. The only other option was some vegan meat. Interesting, as they had a kid popping over every once in a while to check on the empty trays. Very poor management. I overpaid for very poor meals. read more

My family and I love to go to Chipotle but this Chipotle on Leestown rd has very bad service, no white rice available, no chicken available and workers are very rude, they definitely need more training and to top it all off many customers were turned down because they would not accept cash unless they had the exact change to pay. read more
