Of all chipotles I've ever been to this one consistently has issues. Waited 30 min for chicken to be made. They only ever have one person serving the whole scooping station. My wife is allergic to dairy and consistently finds pieces of cheese in guac and other parts of her meal. Multiple staff members are wandering around doing nothing while 2 or 3 of them are doing all the work. One member made jokes about my wife having hearing aids. The list could continue but the point is already made. Not sure if it's bad management or just how chipotle is but they could do way better. read more

Make sure never to order from this location. They obviously do not portion your food right when you put extra on everything literally within your Mobile Order. I bring my order back inside and show him what a small burrito it is (having specifically wrote EXTRA ON EVERYTHING IN THE APP) and the lazy dude that was making it proceeds to lie and said he put extra everything and refuses to remake it. Very pleased with the customer service!! I placed a mobile order on a road trip and grabbed my bag as soon as I arrived. On my way out the door the bottom of the bag busted (these things happen) and spilled everywhere. They immediately came out and grabbed my receipt and refilled my order very quickly. Still garbage. I haven't been back since my review but my wife just put in a order was supposed to be ready at 3:10. I showed up at 3:20 order wasn't ready, was told brisket wasn't ready. Didn't receive order until 3:35, 25 minutes late. At least got a sorry for your wait this time but the food should of been free or a bag of chips free. On top of it after waiting 25 minutes for the brisket it wasn't even hot when I got home 10 minutes later. Go to Moe's. read more

I came to this chipotle multiple times while living here in Lynchburg. Never once ran into any issues. Even on Halloween when they have $3 burritos they still got through the line quickly! Staff here is friendly and they do a good job keeping the restaurant clean. This review is aimed toward this particular location but in general I'm a huge fan of chipotle. I have never been a fan of chipotle for years, but I took a chance at this location because I was really wanting brown rice and beans for lunch. I was so impressed with the quality! I'm not sure if this location was just significantly better than others or if chipotle changed the way they do things in the last year, but I will definitely go here again. It was also super easy to order online and pickup (didn't have to wait long at all and also have the option of scheduling pickup for later). Usually, I've noticed that Chipotle often doesn't taste fresh and the burrito bowls are watery and flavorless, but I didn't encounter those problems at all here. The store was also clean, though the workers didn't greet me at all when I came in. They still get 5 stars for the added surprise factor of me not expecting much at all. I ordered the same thing I always get which is a half chicken, half steak, rice, lettuce, cheese, queso burrito and it was somehow $18. I've never paid that much at any chipotle, including this one, for that exact burrito. On top of that it wasn't even rolled properly and broke so the lettuce and cheese went everywhere. If you go to this location, I advise you not to place pick up orders. You're better off going in line and waiting. At least you can see that they aren't cheating you on the portion size. Also, I placed a pick up order yesterday and waited 10 minutes after the promised time. They forgot certain items in my order. I placed an order on the Chipotle app. I ordered a chicken bowl with brown rice, black beans, cheese and sour cream and a steak bowl with brown rice, black beans, fajita veggies, fresh tomato salsa, guacamole, romaine lettuce and sour cream. I also ordered a side of chips and guacamole. Upon arriving at the store, there were signs posted on both doors. The signs read that this store was out of black beans, tortillas, and chips. I headed to the register and confirmed my order. The employee handed me my order and I asked if all items on the sign were not in stock. The employee said that the only thing they were out of was black beans. I then left the store with my food. When I arrived at home, I checked each meal I ordered and all the toppings except the black beans were in there. After eating my meal, I noticed that the bag of chips was a 1/3 of the way full which I was also not happy about. I used the app to chat with Chipotles customer service about the issues with my order and I received two free drinks for my $34 meal that did not have all the ingredients with it. Chipotle needs to work on their app and website to make sure that the customer is able to order exactly what they want. I usually don't have any issues with this store, but the lack of communication about ingredients being 86'd would have been nice to know when I ordered. read more

Went in to eat at 2:45 the place was a disaster. Every table was covered in food. They were missing half the ingredients on the bar. No grilled vegies, no beans, and worst of all no forks. So tonight my daughter and I decided to eat at chipotle we had never been more excited to try something new. It took 3 1/2 minutes before anyone even acknowledged that we were standing there however once they asked for our order the girl behind the counter was extremely rude to us. We have never been before so we weren't really sure what to order or how to order it and was reading the sign to guide us. There was no one else in the restaurant when we walked in but the girl behind the counter acted as if we were wasting her time somehow because it took us a moment to decide what we wanted. When we finally got our food the rice was cold the chicken was so overcooked and dry that we couldn't even eat it I wasted $27.20 tonight going to chipotle. My directors decided to treat the office to lunch yesterday - we all completed our orders and everyone was pumped about delicious free lunch. When it arrived, almost everyone's orders were wrong. No fajita veggies were to be found at all, though I asked for extra. My coworker ordered a veggie bowl and literally got lettuce beans and rice. We mostly just got a lot of rice. I'm assuming that they were out of most things, but if so - mark things as unavailable / let people know and don't just send orders completely wrong. Ordered online went in and was happy to see my order waiting for me. I don't have a lot of time on my lunch break so not having to wait on my order is crucial. The bag was sealed so I didn't look inside (some people are going to say that's my mistake but I shouldn't have to when I pay $15 for fast food). I got back to my office pulled my bowl out and there was Denise's bowl (I'm not Denise in case you're wondering). I had to jump through hoops to actually speak to a real person. They told me the best they could do is give me a refund, they have delivery but apparently it's too much to expect them to offer to deliver the correct order. So here I am eating Denise's bowl. I can only hope that Denise enjoyed my bowl because hers had barely cooked crunchy black beans and crunchy rice. Hoped the chicken was cooked longer than the rice and beans otherwise if I have an upset stomach I'll be spending the day messing up chipotles bathroom not mine. I love chipotle by this one is terrible. It certainly doesn't help the argument that they deserve more $. read more
