I typically only write good reviews on yelp but this Chipotle had me thinking about how bad it was days later. It needs new management or something...I actually don't think I can eat Chipotle in general any more after the food I got at this one. Only accepting online orders, which you won't know until you get here. Then you sit in the parking lot to make your online order, and it's still not ready 15 minutes after the online order system says it will be ready, which makes it 25 minutes and counting. Can't eat inside. Too hard to eat here, so will take my money somewhere else. read more

I love Chipotle, but I'm not so sure about this location. First off they were very stingy with the ingredients. The lady that wrapped my son's burrito did a horrible job, which by the way may as well have been a veggie burrito than a chicken burrito. The tortilla busted and instead of making a new one she poured the ingredients from one tortilla into another and it was wrapped just as badly as the first time. To top everything off my bag of chips were super stale. I'm always hesitant pay extra to get chips from chipotle because they always seem to be stale. It wasn't even that busy. At this visit, they were out of black beans, hot sauce, and all diet drinks (i.e., no Diet Coke or Coke Zero). My son just pointed out that they were also out of a trash can: they had no trash can in the main dining area. Perhaps I shouldn't complain too much. At one point not long ago, they were out of tortillas. Yes, a burrito place was out of tortillas. For about 3 weeks, they seemed to have gotten their act together. However, the bottom seems to have fallen out again. This has to be the worst- managed Chipotle I have ever visited. read more

Not sure why this location has so few stars. This is my favorite one to visit! I am always in and out in about 5 minutes, and because I go so often, the employees actually recognize me! :) The food is always fresh and yummy, and the restaurant is clean. I've been going to chipotle for 12 years and have always loved it, but this location is really going downhill. The common areas are not kept clean, the garbage cans are not emptied out on a timely basis, and the last time I ate there the food was not terrible, but it was not good--and it was cold. Not a great experience here at the East Cobb location. Their chicken was burnt, and way over cooked. The normal presentation is cubes of juicy chicken, and that is DEFINITELY not what I got. The staff was nice enough about it, but it's not like Chipotle to serve such low quality product. This all makes sense as there was not anyone actively watching the food as it cooked. Ran out of more than half your ingredients at 1:30 on a Sunday? That sucks but things happen, that's business. But for employees to act like you're a bother to be there and then to still charge you full price for a bowl with only half of the Ingredients is bull. pretty standard chipotle (for the most part). I would have to say in recent experiences, this chipotle has got a bit downhill. the portions used to be generous or at least 'standard' amount. but that was about a few years back. as of now, this location has slowly become stingy with their portions. not to mention the staff change like everyday and they all seem to have their own idea of a standard portion. therefore, the portions here are very inconsistent. some days you might be lucky to get someone who scoops way too much. then there's those days you barely have enough to get full. like I said before, the staff here are plentiful. I've never seen the same face (except for one guy that works cashier). the staff are friendly for the most part. and then there's some of them that need to work on manners. the only reason I even visit this location is due to convenience. if that wasn't a factor, then I'd much rather visit several other chipotles rather than this one. read more

I am prepared to write to the Health Department about this Chipotle location and here's why: On both recent visits, the ceiling vents and canned lighting fixtures have been caked in thick dirt/dust/grime. But, worse than that for a restaurant boasting of a perfect score on their last inspection is that each time, condensation from the ventilation system was causing big droplets to fall onto, into, and near the rice in the food prep station on the left and the plastic baskets with paper liner near the register on the right. Each visit, I mentioned it to the staff. To their credit, they immediately brought out a ladder and wiped down the vent over the rice. But, they didn't replace the rice. They didn't offer to make my meal from rice that was in the back and hadn't been placed under this sick science experiment. And between the first visit and the second, they didn't appear to have taken any corrective action to prevent germ-laden water drops from falling into people's food or into the baskets for food. I didn't order food the first visit. After reporting the incident, I walked out. Today, I asked that my food be prepared with rice from the back. I left my card for the owner to contact me and assure me as to the steps they will be taking to correct this. If I don't hear back, I'll be following up with the Health Department. Until they fix this, I won't be returning and I would suggest you look up before you order and determine for yourself how safe the rice is to eat or to serve your children. Good luck! read more

Ah good, old Chipotle. When they're not giving us E. coli, they serve pretty good burritos. If you been to one Chipotle, you've been to all. They're consistent on their taste and assembly line. It all depends on how fat they stuff the burritos. This location wasn't too bad. They worked pretty efficiently. They usually have a bunch of guys making your burrito. Instead of Hispanic people, they had high school kids working. That was weird for me for some reason. The line seems long, but it goes quick. You do get the Soup Nazi feeling when you order since they hurry you along. They also don't have time for chit chat. Their burritos taste good. I mean, it tastes like any other Chipotle burritos I've tasted. It's fat and delicious... like your mom. Okay, I can't think of anything else to write for this review. I WISH that I didn't have to give a single star but I had no choice. This is the worst Chipotle that I have ever been to in my life. I thought I bought a salad but when I got home I realized it was just an ashtray. My salad consisted of lettuce, black beans, cheese, and "veggies" but to my surprise it was just the burnt nasty crap off of the grill. I couldn't even believe it. The smell was horrendous and I called the manager immediately. Ben, the manager, could have cared less that I was upset and that my salad consisted of burnt grill bits. Quite possibly the worst Chipotle ever - and it's in a great area of town, which makes no sense! Line is always long and slow, staff is rude, prices have gone through the roof. At my last and final visit they had minimal options, because as the staff member told me, they were short staffed so couldnt prepare all of the items on their menu. This is my go-to place when I need something fast and cheap. I love Chipotle because of their fresh ingredients & fast service. Side bonus, its easy to stay paleo here!!! Chiptole used to be one of my favorite places during my master's time in NYC around 2014. Chipotle has turned into an absolute nightmare. They do not have a separate section for online orders. People who go for instore pickup has to wait for 50 mins and people who placed an online order hast o wait for around 60 mins just to get a bowl. I ordered a veggie bowl and waited in the line for more than 50 mins as the people serving food were busy preparing online orders. Chicken was dropped into the veggie bowl and there were around 7 people messing around with multiple orders. They should have a separate section/counter where they handle online orders instead of making customers wait for several hours. Better management is definitely needed for chipotle. I am definitely not going here at least for the next 10 months. Thanks for nothing read more

Chipotle is a chain of eateries that makes fresh-cooked burritos, tacos, salads, and burrito bowls (the contents of a burrito in a bowl instead of wrapped in a tortilla). There are various options for rice (white or brown), beans (black or pinto), meats (chicken, pork (carnitas), barbacoa (pulled beef), and steak), and a variety of typical toppings (salsa, lettuce, cheese, guacamole, etc.) I always get a burrito bowl, and I've always found the ingredients to taste fresh and fresh-cooked, too. The chips with lime-salt are tasty! This place can get pretty busy on Saturdays around lunch, but at other times, it's a solid lunch/linner spot. And bonus for me -- a burrito bowl lasts 2 meals! I've been a fan of Chipotle for as long as I can remember and the food is good, give me corn salsa and I'll be your best friend for life, but this location as many others, is just okay... I'm always fascinated how a simple burrito can turn into a mammoth foil wrapped meal by the time you check out. I wish they would offer junior sizes like Moes, it's hard to finish a burrito in one sitting and they don't hold up very well for next day eating. But tacos are a good option for something smaller, but they pack those full as well. When this location is hopping(busy) the line is long and the workers tend to speed you through the line and not listen to your requests. This has happened to me and I've asked them to take some of the toppings off because they can become too much. I mean you get one spoon of rice, half a spoon of beans, half a pound of cheese on your burrito if you don't stop them, two spoons of sourcream (plop plop....thanks...), a spoon of salsa, half a spoon of corn salsa, and about 5 small pieces of lettuce... I constantly find myself asking for more lettuce... But overall good place for a burrito, burrito bowl, or tacos. Doesn't seem like anything new will be added to the menu in my life time. It's also great they stay open to 10pm (why does almost everything in marietta close at 9pm). There's plenty of parking at this location as it's located in the merchant walk shopping center so don't be afraid to walk if there's nothing up close. DO NOT GO HERE!!! So I just left here. No one in line except me (Black female) and one guy in front of me (who happened to be Asian). The Asian dude working the line makes the guy's burrito bowl and heaps so many toppings, along with 2 heaping scoops of chicken, that he can barely close the bowl. Then he goes to the register (with gloves still on) and takes the customer's money. Now he comes back to me with the dirty gloves on asking if he can help. I ask him nicely to change his gloves, which he does as he looks embarrassed. Then he proceeds to make my bowl and barely give me 1 scoop of chicken. I asked politely if he "can give me a little more please" and he says "no". I said "I just saw you give that guy 2 big scoops of chicken and he says "that was my boy." Then he stared at me rudely. I turned around and walked out to my car. I called inside to ask for a manager and a girl (Estelle?) first lied and said she was the manager and then said she was the apprentice. I asked again for the manager and she stalled and then put the Asian guy on posing as the manager! I recognized his voice and asked for his name and he refused to give it to me! Not only is this place nasty and food-borne illness waiting to happen, the staff is racist and rude!!! read more

I'm a huge fan of Chipotle burrito bowls and just recently realized that you can get tortillas on the side! Makes it extra yummy. Typically I can save half of the burrito bowl for later but the last time we went it seems like they have really cut down on their portion sizes. It's good for the waistline, but if you were planning on saving some for leftovers, you might want to make alternate plans for your next meal. In general (and this is not specific to this Chipotle location), I think Chipotle needs to start thinking about offering chips and dip for free to compare with Willys and Moes. Not that I've had great experiences with the Moes in the area...but the one on Johnson Ferry DOES have a drive thru which is helpful when you have two kids and really don't feel like getting out of the car to pick up dinner for the night. read more

I love myself a good burrito, and have been searching for a good place for quite some time. My friends and I used to go to Moe's quite a bit for lunch when we worked together, and while I thought it was all right, it never quite fit the bill. We finally checked out Chipotle, and I have to say that they do a damn good burrito. They have a large selection of meats, which (of what I tried) were really good. I was definitely happy to see more than just your standard: 'beef', 'chicken', and 'veggie'. The other fillings are pretty standard - rice, beans, cheese, sour cream, pico de gallo, etc. In the end, I had a carnitas (yummy pork!) burrito with brown rice, pinto beans, and a bunch of other fillings. All in all, it was exceptionally good. Easily the best burrito I've had from a chain restaurant. One thing that I really like about this place is that they offer some healthier options compared to other similar places. For example, their great selection of meats are all hormone and steroid free, free range, etc. They also offer brown rice and wheat tortillas. My main complaint is that they are a bit expensive compared to their main competition, don't give you free chips and salsa ... and charge an outrageous $1.80 for guacamole in your burrito. All that aside, however, I had great food and great service, and will be coming back! read more

Have to second that to-go is the way to go at this location -- especially when the weather makes the little patio off limits. Addition to the inside being cramped the music is WAY too loud on many occasions. I mean so loud it you have to yell over it to place your order. "BLACK BEANS! CHICKEN! PICO! WHAT? No..PICO! yes.." It is comical, but I guess if it helps the staff keep moving at speed, no harm, no foul. You just can't sit and eat and have a conversation. Prep is usually pretty good but have gotten the occasional rookie burrito maker who just makes a mess, doesn't know how to save it with a SECOND tortilla. Burrito bowl is probably the best way too go more stuff, less calories. And to the folks expecting "double meat" if they leave out beans and/or rice -- do you also expect two hot dogs in a bun from QT if you leave out onions and relish? Don't be greedy. This review is specifically for the online order. We order three bowls online from this store, and the food was ready on time and the orders were all correct. The amount of food in our bowl was comparable to if not more than when you get your bowl in the store. Online ordering is quick and easy. All you have to do is stop by and pick it up, then you can enjoy your food at home or wherever you are going! I will recommend both eating in or ordering online because the ingredients here are very fresh! We were very satisfied with our bowls. read more

I'm so tired of the bad attitudes with this staff. Management needs to sit them all down and train them how to treat customers. Cashiers are rude and the position between the cashier and the condiment person is worthless. How about "hello and thank you" as basic common courtesy to your customers? My online purchase was placed about 45 minutes prior to pick up and still wasn't even started. wish i could give zero stars. Reviews are pretty consistent about this place being dirty. I'd suggest going elsewhere to eat. They over charged my credit card for an item i didn't order. When i brought to the register attendant's attention she brought the manager over. The manager then charged my credit card an additional amount, rather than issuing a credit to my account!!! I mean like how stupid was she. Then i see the original unauthorized charge to my credit card and no credit. I go back to the store and show the GM. he said he would credit my credit card the original amount. But, guess what, no credit ever posted to my credit card. Slimy way of doing business. read more

Unfortunately I have to take time to give this location a 1 star review. After many bad experiences I told myself I would never come back but I gave them one last chance and ordered online because every time I went there in person to order there was never guacamole for in person orders and rude staff. When I arrived tonight at 8:30 PM the whole place was locked for some reason and they wouldn't tell me why. Only allowing online orders. I thought I lucked out bc I FINALLY ordered online. I was allowed in to get my online order but when I got home there was at least four toppings missing from my bowl with the smallest portion I've ever seen. I don't understand how such a popular franchise can allow so many bad reviews and bad experiences to keep happening with no change. I'm hoping someone will help them out bc it truly sucks feeling sad after giving this location my business time after time. read more

Food is delicious but you just never know what you're going to get. Sometimes you get a good portion of chicken with your burrito bowl and sometimes you get half a scoop. This is my local Chipotle and I usually try to avoid it when possible. It's generally impossible to determine who the manager is. The employees turn over constantly. The store is consistently filthy. On Sunday the person responsible for completing the wrap for my burrito had to call the manager out front to help. She showed up wearing gloves that looked like they had been in use for hours...food dripping from them from whatever she was doing in the back. She never changed her gloves as she proceeded to knead my burrito into shape, complaining while she did it. Then she put it in a bag..I had to tell her I was dining in. Today (Tuesday...two days later)all was going well until I got to the frowning/scowling cashier. I engaged her with a cheery smile (because she just stared off to my side not making eye contact, "drank or chips?")...so I said, "A cup for soda please. How are you tonight?". She said, "can't wait to get outta here." I asked, "when is it over?" She slothily took my credit card and finished the transaction while grumbling "eleven o'clock"...(it was 6:25pm) as she nudged my bag toward me, while sighing and readjusting her perfect scowl. I bring my kids to another Chipotle regularly now because this location's condition was always neglected with excessively overloaded garbage cans and crumbs on the tables. Gross!!!! This store has the most incompetent staff I've ever witnessed. Every single time we order from them our order is either completely wrong or missing stuff. I don't get how hard it is to read a receipt, and scoop the right ingredients into a bowl. A child could do their job better than they can. Helen Keller would have a better chance of getting our order right. I just ordered two bowls, 3 drinks and a side of chips and guac. Both of the bowls were missing half of the ingredients, they didn't give us our drinks or the side of guac, and the manager refused to help resolve the situation. We went on Friday night about 7 pm and they weren't super busy. we only waited a couple of minutes to order. No greeting, no smile from employees. I asked for my rice and beans on the side instead of in my tacos. They tried to charge me for side dishes until I pointed out that they were on the side not IN my tacos and they reluctantly agreed not to charge me. When I sat down I discovered that the cilantro lime rice was just plain rice. The tacos were stone cold. I mean cold as in straight out of the cooler without being reheated COLD. I asked to speak to the manager. No apology, no offer to make it right. He told the cashier to give me a refund and walked away. Very disappointed. NO STARS read more
