This is the absolute worst Chipolte location I have ever been to. I have loved Chipolte for many years and have been to several locations in many states. Still, I have never seen or experienced such a dysfunctional and absolutely filthy location as our Mount Pleasant store. I have kids who like the quesadilla, so you must order these online. We went out on a limb and gave it another chance after about a year since our last and several very dissatisfying trips over the past few years. We had hoped they got their act in order, but unfortunately, if it was even possible, it was the worst, most horrendous experience yet. 50 minutes late on our order, missing sides, toppings requested, and no chips, which I PAID for, no ice for drinks available. They were unable to cancel and refund my order at the store. There were many of us all in the same situation, all waiting on our online orders while watching the two employees tending to the online orders, moving at a snail's pace, talking and cussing, f-bombs, and all loud enough for customers to hear. With nothing else to do but watch the clown show in front of us, the line where they prepare the food was in utter disarray, caked with food and debris; ALL the tables and floors in the dining room and in the kitchen were filthy. Everywhere you looked, it was like a tornado had gone through. The employees who were at the front who take care of the customers who come in to order were literally standing doing nothing since there were no customers at several intervals. You would think it would be evident that they could and should help the two on the online order side by taking a few orders over to the main line to minimize our wait time. But no they just stood around talking, for goodness sakes if they have some crazy policy that they can't work on online orders for some reason, go pick up a broom and towel and start getting tables cleaned off. I'm not sure who the owner is, but they should be ashamed that they "run" a restaurant the way they do. Please do us all a favor and sell this franchise to someone who knows how to run a business, puts customer service first, and takes pride in what they do. Do you even know what is going on in your store????? If not, it's high time you got involved and got things right. Clean house in more ways than one. However, you can't expect employees to take pride and keep a well-run store if the owner doesn't care enough. It all starts from the top. I wouldn't be shocked to hear that this location shuts its doors like many other restaurants have done in the last couple of years. What a complete and utter shame. There's no point in beating a dead horse. Other reviewers have said many of things that I would have pointed out in this review. I had never dined at this location before, but my daughter had a burrito craving and we decided to give it a try. We ordered online. These prepare-in-line places often have long lines which I find stressful. We picked up our order 30 minutes later and sat in the restaurant to eat our meal. Four of the four meals that we ordered were incorrect in some minor or MAJOR way. The line and lack of customer service discourages one from complaining and trying to seek a correction. I couldn't understand why the line was always to the front door. The premises aren't particularly clean. The food wasn't up to Chipotle's typical standards. The employees seem unhappy. This isn't the Chipotle experience that most of us love. I can't imagine myself returning to this location again. read more

I eat chipotle for lunch most days and this is the closest to me. I tried to overlook the bad things for a while bc I love Chipotle but this location seems to be on its last leg. Multiple days in a row with the soda fountain not working or ice broken, every day I go they are out of forks or spoons or knives or everything. The chicken, guacamole, or salsa seems to always be missing, and to go orders are hit or miss (today I somehow got every ingredient swapped out in my burrito for something I didn't ask for on the app). Multiple days in a row I drive here and the store is closed for in person ordering, with only online available (with even fewer proteins and ingredients available). I come in most days and really hope the manager has tried to turn it around, but I end up settling for my disappointing meal bc i love Chipotle so much and hope this location can figure it out. I feel bad because typically they have sweet high schoolers working who make great food. However, maybe since school has started again they have no staff working and the 3 employees they did have working were being run around by Lynn. A hateful woman who was being rude, disrespectful and taking her bad day out on her customers. She was putting together poor quality bowls not up to chipotle standards. This poor guy asked where his chips were and she said he could call for a refund because she didn't have any chips left. Right after he left another employee brought 12 bags up to the front and we saw a bountiful amount in the back. What an embarrassment for the chipotle franchise. The restaurant is filthy and the staff members are inconvenienced in doing their job. I made a prepaid Mobil order and when I arrived the doors were locked with a closed sign. I hate leaving low star reviews but I stand for honest reviews and this location has recently gone down hill. Serving sizes used to be great in line and much smaller for pickup online orders but today both were very minimal after telling them to add extras for my toppings. What a complete disaster. First, There is a big sign saying "outage" with a list of 8 things they are currently out of. Including chips. Came to this chipotle on a Sunday for lunch. The employees were nice and the food was good. The atmosphere however, was extremely unprofessional. The employees had their loud music playing (that was quite vulgar, and definitely not family friendly), the restaurant was a mess. The floors looked like they had never been swept or mopped and the tables had dried food remnants over 90% of them. We would have eaten outside but it was extremely cold. I guarantee if a health inspector came in, this location would be shut down. We love chipotle, but we will never return to this one again unless they (literally) clean up the place. read more

I have lived next to this chipotle for 7+ years. It used to be my go to place (I mean I love a good chipotle burrito bowl) .. however It is so disappointing bc this has become the worst experience from a food and customer service standpoint. The food is cold, quality and taste not even close to what it normally should be, and they are consistently out of food every time this past year (whether it be fajita veggies, chips, guac, steak, etc). They take advantage of online orders by only giving you 2 out of the 6 options. And when you go in to make sure your order is correct, they are still out of options and rude about it. The people working there have AirPods in and won't even make eye contact. The customer experience is awful, the place is so dirty and the food is disappointing.
