Chipotle consistently impresses. The food quality is top notch for a quick service joint. Antibiotic free meats, non GMO produce, just good clean food you can feel good about eating. The taste is always on point - fresh and flavorful and well seasoned. The barbacoa beef is my personal favorite - I love it in a big, filling burrito (which usually fills me up the rest of the day) with a side of chips and salsa. My only minor gripe is the prices - I feel they're a bit on the steep side ($12 for burrito, chips and salsa). The quality and big portion sizes help make up for it, but it's still a bit of a splurge if you're on a budget. In all though, Chipotle is one tasty treat! You can bet I'll be back! read more

More times than not it seems that out of the 7 people behind the line, only one is working while the rest just stand and talk to one another about their personal lives. This is fast healthy expensive food. It is really good food, it is organic, it is from responsible sourcing, so I should be totally and completely happy right? I am but DAMN you pay for those aforementioned bonuses. It was almost 20 for my daughter and I to have two burritos served on a plastic tray and a cup of water. For that price I could go to a nice sit down mexican restaurant and possibly get close to the same thing but be served and waited on. I'm never the kind of person that raises hell with customer service, especially with fast food. However, when it comes to allergens, I got the time. They messed up my delivery order last week and it's almost impossible to get anyone on the phone. Chipotle handles all customer issues through an automated system and refuses to empower their managers to do anything at a store level. My delivery time kept getting pushed back, and then my first bite into the burrito was a solid piece of steak, which is really great when you can't eat meat. The help chat system is horrible and just runs you in circles, so does the phone system. I was given a coupon for a free entree after several hours trying to get it figured out, but you can't get anything under $10 delivered. I was told the only option left was for me to drive 20 minutes in the opposite direction of my home whenever I "felt like it". Today I tried to place the same order I wanted last week, and instead of a veggie burrito I got a chicken burrito bowl?? When I called to find out why this keeps happening, I was told by the manager on duty that the employees just aren't reading the entree labels. I asked what if someone sued over allergens while they chose to ignore what someone ordered and he just said "yup okay" and said he can't do anything. Make it make sense. read more

One of the cleanest locations I've ever been to- and it's like that every time I go. There is always a line, but it goes quickly. Chipotle also recently introduced a loyalty card and you get free chips and guac when you register it! Pretty cool. I got a chicken salad bowl and my son got the cheese quesadilla kids meal. It's quick and standardized, but still somewhat pricy. It's named after a pepper, but none of their food is spicy. Really disappointed, first the food. The burrito bowls are usually fantastic but lately not so much. The meats are either dry or fatty or no flavor at all. Chipotle is easily my favorite fast food franchise and I have been pestering the people running their Twitter account for two years to bring an outlet here to Olympia. I used to drive to the next closest location in Federal Way before they got here, so simply showing up gets them 5 stars. That said, my opening day meal was a little sub-par, but the manager said they were still training in all the new employees so I'll give them some grace. Sofritas is more flavorfully made here compared to the ones I've had in southern california. Strange, eh? Perhaps it's because today was a promo day for sofritas... Only wish the server provided me with more sofritas. Why must you skimp out on the tofu?! Side note: sofritas is being advertised due to their pork retailer caught for not responsibly raising their pigs for slaughter. I don't understand the dislike for Chipotle. It's a little pricier than your average fast food, but you get better quality and taste. My husband and I get 2 meals and a drink for $20. And it fills you up for the rest of the day. It's a simple menu that is almost completely customizable. I always order the same thing every time because, well, why mess with perfection? I believe the chicken burrito bowl is awesome. With guac, of course. They pile the rice, beans, chicken, salsas, cheese, lettuce and guacamole in a bowel, then I can pick through at my leisure. I find the burritos too large. My husband always gets the barbacoa burrito and let's just say it is a quiet meal. There's time to talk after we're done eating I do recommend you get the guacamole. Always. The chips are passable but people seem to love them. There is usually a line, but it usually moves quickly and you get your food at the end. The staff here are not up to par with other locations I've been to, but the manager is always picking up the slack when we visit (for some weird reason). Not too shabby. Or get the app, then you can order before, walk right up and pick up your food. Win win. read more

IMO Chipotle food is alright and a little over priced compared to most local taco trucks around the area. My burrito was huge, but it was obvious the employee was rushing and i felt like I was rushed to decide what to put in my burrito. In my opinion small local businesses tend to exceed the standards whether it'd be pricing, customer service or quality. Local businesses wants our business and get their name out! The "Chipotle brand" will be fine if they had a bad day with the number of customers that came in ...because they'll still "make it" in the long run. read more

Difficult to find as the icon is shown in the mall which leads you to believe the Chipotle is in the food court, however, there is outside parking and the Chipotle is on the exterior of the mall. The food is hit or miss. You get exactly what you ask for and I've never had a problem with portions. In fact, my burrito is usually bursting at the seams. Chipotle is basically a type of upscale fast food. Standard tex-mex type of options for the burritos, all of which can be purchased as a 'bowl' and forgo the wrap. Ingredients were fresh and tasty and prices were reasonable. The service was good and the eating area seemed clean. Funky music and a hipster vibe could best describe the atmosphere. I think that for what it is, Chipotle executes very well and makes for a tasty meal at an affordable price. read more

Went down to get my favorite barbacoa burrito today at this location. Although the atmosphere was spot on, I have yet to experience more hostility at a chipotle, let alone anywhere I've been recently. After the entire crew stopped working for about 3 minutes to deal with and rudely comment on a "pair of dirty panties" in the restaurant (this was actually a deflated pink and brown balloon animal) I asked to speak with the restauraunteur who "accidentally" elbowed me in the jaw. I love Chipotle and thought this restaurant was just as good as any. It seemed clean, the people were friendly, the line was quick, the calories were written it plain view on the board, and the food was delicious. As per usual, I got my beloved barbacoa burrito with all the fixins and was in heaven. It's always a messy meal, so I went to the restroom to wash my hands after eating only to find that the sink in the men's room didn't work (after I'd already lathered in soap). Ugh! I have always been struck by the way fans of Chipotle talk about it. So much love directed at one place moved it to the top of my list. Unfortunately we don't have one in my area, so I have had to wait. I brought my sister and Grandmother to Chipotle on a Saturday around noon. It was busy and probably not the best place to take an elderly grandmother. Since it was new to us, it took us a bit of time to figure out how this works...the instructions weren't exactly self-evident. I had a bowl (as opposed to a burrito or taco) with a base of rice and beans. I wish there had been an option for greens rather than rice. The brown rice would have been enticing if it had been as well prepared as the cilantro lime white rice. It's a lot like Subway in how your meal is prepared, so the choices come fast, tough when you don't know what the options are. We interacted with 4 people to get our meal done including choices about salsa, cheese, lettuce, etc. I do like how simple and healthy the food was. It was fresh and well-prepared. It would have been nice to have a little bit slower pace, so that we could ask more questions and find out what all the choices were. I suspect Chipotle fans will be uttering things under their breath as they read this, but this is the review of someone who has never been here. In all, it was a pretty harried experience, everything was so fast paced, the line to get in, through the counter, then getting the beverages and finding that was suitable for 90s customer. I will return and look forward to enjoying a different combination. read more
