I was in the area, so I stopped to pick up a "quick dinner". I was disappointed that I first discovered I was unable to place a Mobile Order. I entered the store and waited in line. IF I could give a zero rating, I would. Ordered on line (my first mistake) went to pick it up early by 3 minutes. Asked the drive thru attendant a question and NOT only could she not answer, she was simply too busy TALKING on her PHONE!! (SHE should be fired!) I Took my meal home (3 minute drive) and both entrees for my wife and myself was STONE COLD. Wife is a Bone marrow transplant patient so food safety and temperature is very important. I wrote corporate a message of dissapointment about my experience and the first reply was CUT and PASTE from some BS boiler plate reply card they had. I reached out a second time and it took over a week of reply with an offer of ONE entree, which must be used within the next 3 weeks or it will be voided. I don't normally leave reviews but I ordered a barbacoa bowl with brown rice, got half a scoop of rice and a huge chunk of un shredded barbacoa, not to mention 3/4 of the chunks was fat and very chewy and uneatable. The food quality was poor: the meat tasted burned/overcooked and the bowl had way too much sauce, which made it soggy and hard to eat. A little service would be nice! I ordered a salad for pick up. The salad dressing was not included. I asked for some and was told there wasn't any, and they refused to make any. I wish I could say this is the first time that happed at this location. I stopped going to this location for a few years because they never included dressing- even if I explicitly asked for it. I have had consistently terrible experiences at this location over the last few years. The service and food quality have been extremely disappointing. A few months ago, I went to pick up my order, and the employee in front of me was eating food from the prep area while making customers' orders. He then proceeded to talk to people with his mouth full, which was disgusting. I haven't been to this location in months because they never get the order right. They are always out of at least one or two ingredients. When I called customer service to complain, all they did was thank me for letting them know and offered me free guacamole. This response was inadequate and did not address my concerns. As a result, I decided not to visit any locations in Rochester, MN. Today, I visited a Chipotle in the Saint Paul, MN area, hoping for a better experience, but encountered the same issues with missing ingredients. I am done with Chipotle altogether now. This used to be one of our favorite places! Now you can only order online, the wait times are underestimated, and our order was wrong. Ordered and paid for THREE tacos, only got one cold taco. Horrible. Last two visits to this location have been subpar. I'd leave zero stars if I could. Visit before this one I ordered chips and queso with my order. After I pay they inform me they are out of CHIPS and offer me a fountain pop instead. I said no thanks I'll just take a refund please. "We can't do that you'll have to call corporate". What?! The food I did get was cold. Tonight I order. I get my food and ask for a glass for water. Never had a problem with that before. Tonight, before the kid hands me the cup he holds it away from me and says "Only water!" Again, What?! Absolutely, positively not worth your time or money. My partner stopped in the other night about an hour before closing. She was told they aren't doing orders "in person", that you have to place an order through their online ordering system. She went ahead and placed the order for a burrito bowl with chips and was told it would be about a thirty minute wait. Ok, no problem. She gets her meal and notices they didn't give her any chips. She mentions this to them and they tell her they're out of chips. ...Were they going to let her walk out without chips after paying for them? The food was cold, portions were ridiculous - I think there was maybe five small pieces of steak in all and the bowl was only half full. For the second time in two months, ordered online and found the store closed upon arrival. A sign was posted "Refund..." with the customer service phone number. I called and waited for ten minutes, then opted to have a call back. In the ten minutes I was there, at least six other customers arrived, baffled to find the orders for which they already paid with no hope of being fulfilled. The callback was returned at 11:30, and I missed it because I was asleep. Called back the next day to request my refund. The process took over half an hour. The service specialist was friendly, but woefully unprepared and untrained for the job. I can understand a restaurant needing to close, for a multitude of reasons. What I do not understand is the complete apathy that must be required to not mark your restaurant closed on your own corporate app, causing people from spending money on a product not being offered at all, further requiring a complete waste of their time. The disrespect for your customers is appalling. In this case, this location has already fooled me twice, so shame on me. Chipotle HQ should take immediate action to close this restaurant until it proves it can meet corporate standards (assuming there are any). Repeated negative experiences with this substandard location reflect poorly on the chain as a whole. read more

Now where do I start with.....This is the first time that I dine in. Which was a mistake. When ordering my food. The person prepping the food didn't accommodate at all. I asked If I can have vinaigrette with my meal and from her expression it seem like she didn't hear what I said (or even cared to hear) and just said "I don't know" and left it at that. She had a attitude like just order and get the eff out. I should've just ordered ahead of time and pick the food up like I usually do so I don't have to experience such poor service. There was no sense of urgency whatsoever and from that night they were not prepare at all. They only had two types of protein and the verbiage of relaying that was not professional at all. The past 5 times now I have made an online order I have received the wrong order entirely, not received all of the toppings I ordered, or not received chips with my order. I have been told the didn't get fajita vegetables delivered or ran out. But this has happened multiple times so there needs to be away to alert customers not to order what they do not have in stock. They use Door Dash for their delivery and the order comes stapled in a bag so I really do not blame Door Dash. I think the people at Chipotle are not paying attention to the orders and putting the stickers with the customer's name on the wrong orders. The work station was a disaster - I'm vegetarian and I can't be sure there wasn't any meat mixed in with the other ingredients. They were out of corn, guacamole, and fajitas, but didn't give me a time they planned to restock. To boot, my chips were very stale, but luckily I got them replaced and the new ones were at least passable. I have recently fallen in love with Chipotle. I normally go to the Broadway location, but I was on this side of town. Got through the line quickly. Happy to get to my burrito. Everything was there, but it wasn't packaged correctly. All the rice on one end, veggies on the other, etc. employees seemed new or not happy to be at work. Maybe needed more training. This place is poorly managed and a complete nightmare. It's not at all customer friendly. We waited over a half hour AFTER our scheduled pick up time for our food. While we were waiting and waiting an employee hand wrote Online Only on a couple pieces of paper and put them on the doors. They filled all in store dining orders before even making all the online orders. There was a whole bunch of people standing around waiting for their online orders. One person who had an online order due after all of the rest of us waiting got her food before ours. Chipotle employees were standing around (see photos) while customers waited for their online orders. The manager refused to let them help and prepare food in the area where they had been making in store orders. They finally stopped taking walk in customers, and still wouldn't use all employees to quickly fulfill all the backed up to go orders. Insane management!! When I asked for a refund I was told I had to use the app (by the manager) and I had already done that and was told on the app I couldn't get one. I've NEVER heard of this from any business I have ever been to. Give your customers their money back when they ask for it. It's crazy and feels like theft. If you can't meet your order times and someone wants their money back they should get it. Right then and there. Period. No excuses! We will NEVER return to this location and are thankful that the Chipotle in our home state is NOTHING like this. read more

We have tried delivery service from this store three times in the past 6 months. First time the order was cancelled unexpectedly. The second time they lost the order and when it finally arrived 1 he late it was completely wrong. Third time the order was cancelled again. Customer service is terrible. No person will answer the phone. The website chat not was totally ineffective. Would love to know if the food is good, but we have yet to get what we ordered. We are done with them. Honestly always loved this location... until recent, the whole restaurant has gone way down hill. Food doesn't taste the same, service is shotty, and hours are way to inconvenient. I call ahead every time. This last time, I called at 4:30, they told me they were open until 10pm... I went to target across the street while waiting for my wife to get off work... We walked into Chipotle at 5pm and a girl came up to us and said nobody else could get in line and order food because they are closing.... So after confirming they'd be open until 10pm 3 minutes prior... they kicked us out of line at 5 with the doors still unlocked... Horrible Service will not be back to this location. read more

Go South. We are new to the Rochester area and live north. We have always liked chipotle but the north chipotle has issues. We went there once and they had no tortillas and a second time 4 people were in the back while one person did everything up front for a huge line of people. But 3 strikes and your out. My husband and I just got up in the middle of the night with food poisoning and we only had one common food yesterday. Chipotle burritos for dinner.
