While the food is unremarkable, the staff are beyond rude. Today I was yelled at for ordering something I didn't order. It was surreal and horrid. I had ordered my food online after we arrived at the restaurant (because that is their COVID rule) and my order was supposed to be ready in 20 minutes at 1:45. I ended up waiting until 2:05 for my food to be ready which was a simple burrito and a kids quesadilla. So as I was waiting inside they began to accept walk in customers when all of us take out people were waiting. Employees didn't bat an eye at us until I spoke up and finally made my food. I spotted the problem that others are mentioning right away after a 5 min wait to get in the door. Yes, at 7:30PM the line was out the door. The problem is that there are only 2 people on the serving line and one on register. 1 in the side prep area and another floating between prep and the kitchen. I placed an online order for here at 9am today for a pick up at 1215pm. Two bowls with no special requests, a fairly simple order. I arrived at 1215 on the dot because I needed to be dropping it off for a friend by 1230 while she was on her lunch break. Walked up and my order wasn't even started yet. I had to wait 20 minutes to get my food! So I wasn't able to get it delivered in time and the food ended up being cold. The reason it's getting 2 stars is because it was at least made right... It appears that they are extremely poorly managed by the inadequate staffing levels. I love the food but the service was beyond terrible. Worst experience in my life. Employees were yelling at each other. I asked for cheese for my bowl snd was told they were out . I inquired if they had any more in the store and the employee yelled back, WE'RE OUT OF CHEESE! Then he squared off with me from behind the counter. Then he directed his anger at another customer at the cash register and squared up again with that customer. Other customers were upset and ready to beat this aggressive employee up. Other employees were unprofessional by encouraging him. Cashier refused to thank us for our purchase even after we asked her to. I was so close to calling 911 because we were expecting problems from the staff. The food was cold. The tables and floor were both dirty. There was no ice in the soda machine or other beverage containers. We stopped other customers from going into the store after our experience. Several took our advice and returned to their vehicles. I've filed additional complaints with the corporate office and have heard back. I'm done with Chipotle. read more

I called the Chipotle to see if they delivered and they don't. My 13 year old was traveling with his swim club from out of town. The team was ordering pizza but my son has celiac disease and can't have gluten . It's no fun to eat a lunch packed by mom when there is a pizza party going on and you can't partake. Ick. What happened OG Rochester Chipotle??Granted, we came in late but at 8:45 they still had an hour plus until closing. They were out of almost everything, except the crusty crap that looked like it had been sitting around for hours. I could practically see the gears turning in the head of the gal at the start of the burrito line...three of us ordered burritos and three times she slowly picked up a bowl and lid then, deep inside her, an incredible thought occurred and she remembered that burritos are made of tortillas!! Got veggie burritos which were small enough to feed a toddler due to the nazi rationing of ingredients, no doubt triggered by the dawning realization that there was no food yet an ever growing population of hungry, soon to be dissapointed, customers. Out of paper for baskets, no trays, out of ice, out of FORKS! The rice tasted like cardboard, the guacamole of baby vomit, the chips...flavorless calories. Plus, I don't always hate being short; but when I do the bottom of my pants are coated in rice and beans from your dirty restaurant. :'( I'm sorry for you. Every time I go to this location it is always a chore to just order food. Excessive time waiting in line, employees that seem to not have a care in the world about being efficient. Newest thing was I ordered a burrito then all sudden the lady leaves to go in back while there's 25 people be hind us My wife was still waiting to order, here the lady had gone in back to eat some food and then went to refill her soda at the fountain. This is the slowest chipotle I have ever been to. They have lost my service on 5 different occasions the past few months because I knew it would take 30 minutes to get my food. Every time the line is out the door and it takes forever for them to make the food.... Usually 30-35 minutes when the line is long and never-ending which makes everyone crabby. The assembly line is not speedy, it's like they have no management on staff. If I were to go to another chipotle with the line out the door it would take 10-15 min max! Also, the last time I went the rice was not fully cooked. Please teach your workers how to move quickly and efficiently and staff more people per shift because you are quickly losing business. read more

Went there at 7 PM, stood in line for 35 minutes. Servers were hyper and had to be told twice what I wanted on my burrito. Steak was chewy, and by the time I got it home, (5 minutes away), it was cold. Also ordered a kids quesadilla, and the cheese was not even melted.There are 2 Chipotle's here in Rochester, and this one is the worst of the 2. There is a Taco Bell next door. The other day I tried to pay with a gift card after waiting in line for 30+ minutes and was told it was "too difficult" and I would have to pay a different way. Really? Then train your workers or don't sell gift cards! Today I watched a worker throw away a handful of chicken because she was upset another worker had put too much on a customer's burrito. Worst Chipotle I've ever been to. We got in being two customers from starting our order. From there it took more than 15 minutes to get to the point of paying for it. I got the dry remaining scraps of steak from the pan, about 2/3rds a normal order (by comparison of those before and after me). Every employee seemed confused about everything. Burritos as big as my head and I've got a pretty big head... If you don't like it, it's your own fault because you're the one that chooses what goes into your burrito/bowl.
